A. P.What can I write that haven't been written so far? The guy is simply superb. I've emailed enquiry at 7am not expecting anything really to happen....at 8.03am my phone rang, all the questions were answered, all the information given. Explained to Ian that I like the van I have seen on his web page but I don't have transport at the moment to come over to see it. Next thing...he asked me if I would like for one of his guys to bring it over to my work....At 10am the Van arrived and never left 😉👍 He drove over to pick his guy bringing all the documents containing full and very DETAILED service history. Transferred the money using the mobile app from my bank and that was it. Deal done.
Ian will do everything to help you out and will deliver any Van or Car in any place around Scotland. Simply superb....oh and the Van is 10 out of 10 👍👍
S. S.My partner and I live in Buxton, Derbyshire and we were in Devon to see my partners mother who was in hospital in Plymouth, quite a stressful weekend to be honest! On our way home I was driving and a few miles before the M5 I noticed considerable juddering of my steering and pulled into a service station at Okehampton to inspect my wheels. The drivers front was boiling hot so I googled garages and after a couple of calls was put in touch with Gareth who was very busy but said he would have a look. He was literally 1 mile away. We turned up without an appointment, he diagnosed a caliper failure, called for a part and within an hour we were on our way. No fuss, no issues, amazing. Brilliant customer service, just awesome. So happy to have found this amazing place. Might try and coincide visits to my mother in law when the car needs a service, these guys are brilliant! My mother in law is ok by the way so win win! If u want sit down friendly sales pitch this garage isn’t for u. But if u want left to it and any questions answered like I do then here’s ur place.
When we first got the the car there was a issue with front sensors or so we thought. The mechanic was on it straight away booking car in to get it seen to.(craig I think his name was he was the one that sold us the car and dealt with us mostly later on. Both hubs and I liked dealing with him.)
Turns out it wasn’t faulty we found a switch to turn them on. Opps.
Fast ford 5 months 3 weeks later the car just stopped working. We couldn’t get it of the drive as the way it was parked the RAC couldn’t tow it without damaging the car. I called the garage. The woman was very helpful (5 stars to her all the way) and and told me Ian (I’m sure is his name) was on holiday n would call bk the Monday. They didn’t call and I called them. First impression the guy seemed like a A hole to be blunt. I genuinely didn’t believe they were gonna sort the car. He just seems to lack basic customer service skills. After dealing with him for a couple weeks u learn he’s actually alright tho just straight to the point to clearly doesn’t like losing money like the rest of us don’t. I should add he wasn’t rude at any point just not very reassuring.
They came out the next day had it started but sadly issue went on and of for a couple of weeks every couple of days. As it was intermittent they couldn’t work out what it was. I was sent to a different garage at their cost after 2 weeks and about 6 times of it failing to start. A few days later it cut out again. After about 3 weeks from first issue they took the car to ford and got it sorted. The car is part Electric so needs auto spark which they don’t have on site. I feel had it been normal car this issue would have been resolved alot sooner. When my car was away I was given a car to use. It was a mess but worked.
Over all the service I received was good and I’d actually use the garage again.
Only reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt I did need to do alot of chasing them to get the car sorted and the car they gave me to run around was in such a mess but it got us from A to B.
I actually saw Ian at my work a few month later. He does actually smile sometimes 😉
