Been searching for a decent Mercedes CLS400 for a while. Came across Bedford Specialist Cars whilst searching online with the perfect model. It was the perfect colour, extra low mileage with a huge spec! Made a quick phone call to enquire about the car and spoke to Leigh. We had a brief chat and arranged a suitable time for me to travel up to inspect the car. Being 250miles away, i had to endure a boring 4.5hour train journey up to see the car. When i arrived, i was greeted by Leigh and his wife, both with lovely smiles and a warm welcome. The car was all ready in the forecourt for me to inspect. Leigh passed me the keys and just told me to take my time and inspect the car. He left me to it, there was no pressure, no 'in your face' salesman talking... Leigh was just a relaxed, genuine bloke who answered all my questions. The car was immaculate, exactly how it was described on the phone. I took it for a test drive up the road, came back, negotiated with Leigh and sealed a deal. From start to finish, it took about 1.5hours.. all in all a quick, smooth easy purchase along with great communication! I would highly recommend Bedford Specialist Cars if you're looking to buy a quality high end car at a great price! They even paid for a full tank of fuel to get me back home! I bought a VW Tiguan R-Line from Bedford Specialist Cars just over a month ago and I am HAPPY!!! I had been looking for a car just over a month and I had finally found a car at a great price that looked clean. I was in hospital recovering for surgery at the time of the purchase but I didn't make Leigh (Owner) aware because I did not want to be the customer looking for a sympathy deal. Trying to arrange my finance company to sort themselves out was a nightmare and even paid Leigh late but Leigh didn't complain once. The delivery of the car had to be delayed due to a mess up from my finance company but Leigh still arrange to get me a extremely speedy delivery meaning I didn't have miss my hospital appointment. I know can sometimes be nightmare when things can go wrong but they all took in their stride. Amazing quality car and unbelievable service. Thank you!

I have purchased a lot of cars over the years and dealt with many dealers [ some I would never trust again] this is the second time I have purchased a car from Bedford specialist cars and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. My dealings with Leigh and Tiffany were about as perfect as they could be. Nothing was too much trouble, all my questions were answered very thoroughly and even though they have a large array of high end motors Leigh was very knowledgeable regarding the two cars I was interested in, which in the end made choosing the right car easier. The same as last time there was no pressure to buy either car and I was allowed to take my time in making my decision . I have to say both cars were immaculate and if it wasn’t for the reg could have passed for new. I would give the company my highest recommendation.

I would say that Leigh at Bedford Specialist Cars is the most honourable and trustworthy dealer in the country. I bought a car during Covid-19, when he went to make arrangements for the car to be delivered (after I had paid) he noticed a problem that wasn't there previous, he called me immediately, offered me either a refund or promised to pay for the repair and he did just that. My experience echoes the previous positive one. I received a call from Leigh and we agreed what I considered a very fair price from a dealer, especially considering how easy they made the process. A deposit was transferred immediately. The driver Keith, arrived as planned a couple of days later, at a time of my convenience. He inspected the vehicle to ensure it was as described. A quick call to confirm with Leigh and the money was transferred almost instantly and Keith was on his way. Considering my selling experience, I would expect the buying experience to be good too, and that they travel the length of the country to source the vehicles they believe people are looking for. I can see by the website pictures, that the vehicles are immaculately prepared. ps. Thanks to Keith's patience with a crying baby on the first half of the test drive!
