Came to Lookers as they were the only place that I found that could help me with a new wheel for my car, they transported it for me from Preston in the same day that I'd requested it and managed to fit it within an hour, Andy was particularly helpful and did everything he could to make sure my wheel was done and my car was safe! Communication was great and I felt updated all the way, I ended up needing a new tyre when they went to change the wheel and they did that there and then for me as well, highly recommend, thank you!

I went in to lookers as my PCP Citroen contact was at an end and my wife had leased a Corsa from Lookers Selly Oak back in June. I was looked after by Phil Anderson and Jamie Sullivan and have to say the service we were given was outstanding. Unlike other dealerships we had been in I did not feel pressured in to buying any particular car or product and had everything explained to me by Phil and Jamie in a way that I felt comfortable and informed allowing me to make a decision that I felt was right. PCP can be a bit confusing but by the time we had decided on which car was right for us I felt confident in the process of going ahead with a purchase. The only sad thing is I can’t give 6 stars I would definitely recommend going in to lookers where you will get an excellent level of service without being pushed down a particular route. We will hopefully have our brand new Crossland to collect ready before long .. Thanks Phil and Jamie

I have been looking to update my fiat 500 for a bigger car for my dance school, and was recommended by a family member to look into Vauxhall cars. I went to my nearest dealership which happened to be Lookers in Selly Oak. I had a little look round on my own to begin with and originally went looking for a cross lander, as this was the car I was recommended to look at. When arriving into the building to ask more questions, I was greeted and welcomed immediately. I was asked specifically what I was looking for and Dan (who happens to be the manager), recommended the new Mokka; which happened to be the car I was sat next to. He let me have a look and play to see if it met the requirements I needed, which it did. The whole time I was there on both visits, he made me feel welcomed, at ease and throughly explained everything really well. I was worried going in on my own from horror stories that they would try and up sell me something as I was a girl and didn't know much about cars, but I felt he went into detail about everything, answered all my silly car questions and never made me feel uncomfortable. He gave me all the specifications, quotes and kept in contact via email by answering any questions I had. I can not thank him enough and I am looking forward to my new car arriving. Thank you Dan! Also , I would like to say that all the staff there were all friendly and so welcoming. Would highly recommend this dealership and would happily go back to these when I need to upgrade my car. Dealt with Nasser to buy a car for my wife. He was very polite and helpful and overall we were very pleased with the car we bought. There was sadly an issue in that the car was not polished and when we got home we noticed that there were several dried-in blemishes from bird droppings on the roof of the car, which were not removed , and, I cannot get rid of them, however I spoke with Nasser on 15th March 2022 and he agreed to reimburse me the cost of getting the car polished and the marks on the roof removed professionally.

I've been with Vauxhall for 12 years now (and hopefully many more) for three reasons: 1. Members of Staff 2. Professionality 3. Reliability 1. The Motability specialists I've come to know have been extremely courteous, respected and understand the needs of any disabled customer that currently seeking for a new car. Julie who works as a Motability specialist continues that tradition. Julie represents not only the aura of Vauxhall, some would say "Julie is Vauxhall!" When ever there is something on my mind, Ii can simply pickup the phone and ask Julie for any expert advice she has to offer and communication with Julie is second to none. 2. One of the reasons why I have stayed with Vauxhall for that amount of time (and many many more) is that fact that like the car, being professional is who Julie is. Julie knows the difficulties that disabled drivers face when looking for a new vehicle. Julie sits down and discusses in detail the needs for any adaption that may be required and tailors that needs accordingly, from the very first meeting to when the vehicle is to be handed over to the customer. Julie knows her subject and knows it very, (I'll say that again in capital letters, underline and italics) very well. 3. Finally reliability is key to have no doubt that the car will be there for any disabled customer whenever it is needed. I often comment to Julie how good the cars I've had under Vauxhall are - "This car is SOO good it can take me from Lands end to John O'Groats, in a heart beat. Once, the drive has ended, the car would say, "Is that all??" To which I'd reply, "I'm tired!'" Because the Vauxhall brand is so reliable, I wouldn't go to any other brand, and that all starts off, with the one, the only, Motability specialist, "Julie Andrews!"

I have a service plan which includes a discounted MOT. I would very much appreciate a replacement car as although the dealership isn't far 'as the crow flies' it takes 2 buses to get there. The Service Dept dream team are back together. Just had a Service and MOT done, no issues at all. Full updates, advice and communication, courtesy car provided, to top it off a proper clean in/out. I used this garage a long while ago, but when the service manager (Richard) at that time left the service went down the pan, genuinely. I re-used them but told them that I wouldn't be coming back again as the overall customer service and communication was not what a consumer would expect. A little bit patronising and perhaps too assertive?! Anyway, here I am, 2 or so years on, back at this garage. I found out that Richard is back running the show, Andy has also returned to the desk and all is well again, so couldn't risk taking my car to any other branch. It's really out my way to get to but it just gives that boost of confidence that the work on your car is being done by experts and is being cared for, therefore I believe that those factors alone are worth going the distance. Having used this garage for service and repairs on numerous ocassions I felt it appropriate to comment and provide honest feedback. I travel a fair way to take my cars to this garage mainly because of the people that run the service department. This has been a bit hit and miss on ocassions, but I have found out that its due to changes in personnel in the Service Team, and when the current team manage it, it excels - always! The current service team (Jan/Feb 2020) are great, and have returned for their second stint by the looks of it. Incredible customer service across the front desk and back office, good workmanship with honest advice, updates & guidance. More so, I feel like my car is being taken care of and the work carried out will be to the manufcaturers standard (if not above). Providing this current team continue to service my car and make me, as their customer, feel welcome (must give Richard, Service Manager, a mention) - I will continue to travel the distance to take my car to them. Should they leave, then ill also have to find another garage, eventhough Vauxhall keep closing them down. Glad they have brought this Service Team back to this garage.

My son picked out a 16 plate corsa limited edition from this branch. Checked the car over before purchasing and all in order and all tools and ancillary equipment was in place (tyre repair kit etc) Sale went through fine ...car was mot’d and valeted and my son drove away content. That’s where things started to fail as after sales not up to scratch. Firstly the complimentary car care kit was not provided, called to have this rectified and told to receive it we would have to go back to the garage to get it ! Then approximately two months after purchase we noted, only because it was required, the previously present tyre repair kit which we checked was there pre sale, was not there anymore. Called to bring this to the branch attention and was told that basically should have brought this to the attention of the branch the day after purchase and that it was there when the car was collected, as these items are checked off prior to letting the vehicle go, although we have no such checklist in the sale pack indicating this. Basically nothing they could do and that, without actually saying so, implied we were trying it on and the items went missing when the car was in our possession... totally untrue...I’m sure there are people who try it on and look to get something for nothing ....so I can understand, to a point, why the branch would be hesitant, but in this instance, the branch are wrong. We have purchased a replacement compressor and tyre repair kit ourselves, as we are sure we will only be banging our heads against a brick wall..and for £40...we have better things to be doing. We would just suggest to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle from this branch, and before buying, first, like we did, check that all equipment and tools expected, are in place....also make sure they are still in place once you go to collect the car and drive away....we stupidly did not do this at collection, but then we didn’t expect from a supposedly reputable dealership, that items would go missing between pre sale and post !! We have been told a manager will call back as we feel a point is to be made...but do not expect anything to be done about it. Our 3 star rating we feel reflects the experience we have had with this branch....just ok to a point I’m afraid...but being made out to be lying is not very clever !

This dealership is a credit to Vauxhall. Extremely polite and get the job done without taking advantage of the customer. I have dealt with other Vauxhall dealerships (e.g. Chingford) that have little care for their customers and make false claims. Therefore despite closer dealerships i would rather drive the 2.5 hours to Selly Oak. A great team of honest and dedicated staff. The manager of this dealership has definitely got things right.
