Always had good solid reliable service at the VW Birmingham Van Centre. Keep you updated and will always try to book you in as soon as they can. Could do with more parking space but that's true of most other places I've been as well.

What a refreshing change - Personable and friendly staff who seem to be genuinely interested in solving your problem and giving good service. Particularly both ladies that I dealt with on my two visits. Excellent

Went in with my T6 for a: Crankshaft seal repair Auxiliary drive belt and pulley repair Oil service due to sump being removed for the crankshaft repair Brake fluid renewed Also a test on the coolant due to overheating issues and possible leak in the engine, turns out whatever they did it has stopped the overheating but will keep an eye on the oil cap for signs of any coolant mixing with oil. Overall I am now sticking with this garage as they are not overly priced on repairs as you would imagine so when going to dealers and also there is that peace of mind that the jobs are done to high standards to the correct tightness/torque settings with OEM parts 👍 Staff are good at listening to what problems you do have on the vehicle too as I knew exactly what was wrong with it and which part and thats exactly what they inspected. Thanks 👍 However my NS rear does still make some noise thats not been resolved from the diagnostic 😂

Friendly people to deal with nothing seemed to be too much for them to make sure that you are ok while dealing with your vehicle had an issue with the ad blu cap they even sent a driver and delivered it personally to my home because of lockdown requirements welldone!!

My reasoning for 5 stars, is, as follows. They :- * Both Picked Up, & Dropped Back my Car, within the Precise Hour which we had, previously, agreed ; *. Sent a Fully Explained, Video of the Service ; * Highlighted Additional Work on my Air Conditioning, which, although not required as part of the MOT, they recommended needed doing. Hence, we arranged a further date for this to be done ; *. Similarly, the Air Conditioning was, subsequently, re-gassed ; *. However, before the car was returned to me, to my surprise, it was, Ex Gratis, Washed & Waxed.

First service on my VW T5 since I bought it 6 months ago. I booked it in for a full service but when I got there I was advised didn't need a full service until next year, I had an advisory on the MOT for the rear brakes so I also had back brakes done. So pleased with the services provided by VW Van Centre no pressure to just have stuff done that wasn't necessary, all the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Purchased a van from here last December, 2 years old, was very disappointed when I had problems with the van a month after the warranty had ran out and was told I would have to pay full price for repairs. Ray was fantastic in helping to get the problem sorted at the best price, a real helpful guy 👍

Collected my van from my house on time with social distancing, returned it on time all done (MOT, service) and unexpectedly clean (thanks VWVC @Brum) and all works done; phone calls and messages giving status and summaries of work, and then told me that as a disabled vehicle it was VAT exempt if I filled in a form and retuned it to them (which I did). Extremely happy as it saved me £60+ and is all good for the next year.

He booked me in and was genuinely interested in giving me a effortless and worry free experience. Ray explained what was going to be done to my vehicle in depth and then took me to my Courtesy Vehicle. Ray is definitely an asset to this VW Branch. Well I have purchased 2 vw’s in the last 9 months and I have had two very different experience’s. the first well awful, the second , this is what buying a cherished vehicle is al about , Volkswagen you should be very proud of swansway Birmingham, fabulous staff ,Darren Gibs my sales person top draw always on hand to help what ever the enquiry I had and a very genuine happy man to converse with , I did meet Andy the manager as well and what a lovely caring and approachable man , no wonder you feel comfortable in this centre , looking after your customers it would seem is a very large part of this centre and I feel this filters down from the top , so all I can say is I love my new Kombi and you have done me and yourself’s proud , thanks again , I will return !!!!!!!

Had my van booked in for a dpf sensor fault which the mechanic at my local garage could not sort out. Fiona on the service desk and gary the technician had it diagnosed and me informed within the hour. The previous mechanic also managed to over fill the engine oil which i hadn't noticed. In total i had the dpf senor fault sorted forced regen on the dpf and new oil and filter my van now feels and sounds so much better. Will be definitely going back in the future.

We have reguarly chased for updates on progress in order to find out when our van will be ready after a service. Not great. I dropped some window blinds off nearly two months ago, as one of them became disfigured in the process of unraveling. I haven't heard a word about them since. Guess I'll have chase this too. I've got better things to do.

This place typifies what customer service should be. Not only were the VW Van centre the cheapest price, they went out of their way to help with every aspect of my service. I'm also glad they clearly described where the truck was parked when they had finished as it had been cleaned that well I didn't recognise it.

Only popped in to the VW Van Centre in Birmingham one Saturday morning and ended up buying a VW California (T5 Camper Van). Darren is obviously a great salesman! But, seriously the whole experience was excellent. We were a tad fortunate in that a 6000 mile, 15 plate had literally just arrived and we decided to take it. When we picked the vehicle up it was immaculate and gleaming. Nothing was too much trouble. A couple of extras were added and the Autoglym Lifeshine applied all in time for our inaugural weekend away to see if we liked 'camper vanning' ( will be an expensive experiment if we didn't). Anyway, all went well. An excellent vehicle, proving to be versatile and comfortable. Will be using it's full potential in the months and years to come, unless, of course I replace it with a 4WD T6. I will see what the bank manager says.

Ray was super helpful with arranging a very short notice courtesy vehicle due to my breakdown. Kept me fully updated throughout the repairs.

I had an mot booked for 8am and I was met and directed into the car park. I was dealt with respectfully by the service team and I waited for my MOT to be completed with plenty of drinks. The test did take over an hour and a half due to a vosa computer issue. My van was cleaned and I was happy with the test result and the video of the underside of my van due to them carrying out a health check. Overall very good - thank you.
