Bought my first car from them almost a month ago, very pleased with it. Compared with other garages I wasn't pushed or rushed to buy, all my questions and requests were answered and dealt professionally.I was looking for a good first car for couple of months, had a lot of travelling around, went to Bristol to see few garages none of the had anything interesting for a low budget but Fishponds had the ideal first car for me.

Honestly haven't had an experience this good from a used car garage before. Absolutely zero pressure to buy and prices are fair to begin with and open to reasonable negotiation. Car was described honestly, (minor) warts and all so no nasty surprises on arrival. Turnaround from reservation to collection was lightning fast. Very friendly service. Hand-on-heart recommendation without hesitation.

Picked up my new car today and can't rate Fishponds Autos highly enough. There is no hard sale, just pleasant conversion and discussion about the car. All staff we spoke to were very helpful and went out of their way for us. They answered all questions and, being in the industry myself, knew the car was priced at a very good level, and I was happy to pay the full asking price, especially as the car had a couple of small dents which Martin was happy to sort out. Very pleased with car, and service.

We can only echo what others have already said. First class service from first minute to last. No hurry, no pressure, nothing was too much trouble. The 'family' image shines through - with Sheila even helping to push our car!!

Outstanding Sales and after Sales Service from Martin and Sheila First review I have ever taken the time to write which says a lot. Cant Fault Martin or Sheila at all. Initially wanted a Peugeot 308 and Fishponds had the only for one sale in the area in January that suited. M and S reserved the car for me with no fuss and the car was in showroom condition when I picked it up. The finance was sorted mostly by the M and S. A years MOT was put on the car @ FA. Upon driving the car off the forecourt it was apparent there was an uneven tick over, Initial thoughts where down to low fuel so Martin put £20 fuel in as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately the problem persisted and as the fault was when bought and the car was in its 3 months warranty the car was returned for FA to resolve. A courtesy car was provided by FA. Whilst waiting for parts I was kept fully updated by the team. When the part arrived the workshop done their utmost to fix it and the problem did go away for a short while, unfortunately it returned and once again the team couldn't have been more helpful, offering me a courtesy car while they had another attempt to fix it. On returning the car Martin sensed my slight unease with the original vehicle and showed me around a Ford Focus Titanium X on the forecourt. After deliberation I decided to purchase the Ford, and whilst slightly more expensive Martin offered me the full original price of the peugout off the FORD despite the problems and it turned up with the obvious remnants of family use ( dog hair, usage wear and tear etc). Once Martin and Sheila again done most of the legwork for changing the finance over and it had all been signed it became apparent the windscreen washer pump was faulty. Despite every attempt to resolve it on the forecourt it was obvious a new part was needed and with it being a Saturday the workshop was shut. There and then Martin offered me £50 towards repair if I could get it done locally, saving me time, fuel and more upheaval having to bring the FORD back. Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish and not the sort of customer service that historically you attach with car dealers. I would not hesitate to recommend Fishpond Autos to anyone and from now on will always look at this business first when upgrading or replacing any cars in the future. The faults in the cars where no fault of fishpond autos just bad luck as I'm sure many cars are bought from here without any technical issue at. all. If you want your car buying experience to be in the hands of a team who actually care and put the customer first then Fishpond Autos and Martin and the team are the business for you. Keep up the good work !!
