We recently decided to buy a caravan. We popped in and had a look and were taken with a couple of vans. After weighing up future needs settled on one a few weeks later. Not rushed or pushed to make any decision. Kay was absolutely amazing with us throughout our buying process, answered numerous questions, helped us with insurance details needed, and was so kind, helpful and thoughtful as well. The day we picked up our van went very well. Kay had arranged for a wider step for the van due to my mobility issues and I felt so blessed by this simple kindness. Richard gave my husband a full tour of the workings of the van, helped us hitch up and advised on towing for the first time. I can't recommend Kingswood Caravans highly enough. Absolutely outstanding customer service from start to finish. Will definitely use them again when needing bits for the van, and when the time comes to upgrade. Thank you so much Kay! Carron x

We really cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough. We were badly Leyland down by Camping World and after one phone call found what we needed and picked it up on route. We were welcomed like old friends, with a hug and a box of chocolates. Please buy all your camping gear here, they are wonderful. Our awning is fabulous, lovely lovely people.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Have been trying to get the small propane gas cylinders for months... and they actually had some! The place is a treasure trove of stuff, as Nd they make sure that they keep it so, like stoking gas those cylinders when other similar places seem to have 'given up'.

Great service from the lady on the phone. Held a gas bottle for me and picked it up 15mins later. I've seen some other reviews on here about poor customer service but I never had that at all. Very, VERY friendly staff. I love this shop as it has everything you can ever think of for camping/caravans, and loads you forgot or didn't even know existed. It's a bit more expensive than Amazon as you would expect but I firmly believe you cannot put a price and knowledge and experience. And, having bought bits from both Kingswood and Amazon, can vouch that the quality of products in Kingswood is generally better than online equivalent. I'm an avid supporter of Amazon as it very often suits my needs but also an avid supporter of local businesses, such as these guys, that deserve praise for the way they do business. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area in need of anything for camping or their caravan.

Having looked at some of the reviews on here, I was half expecting a bit of shirts-off when I went in. The place looks very innocuous from the outside, but don't be fooled. The place is stuffed to bursting with swag for anyone with a caravan, tent or campervan. I found exactly what I needed plus a few things I didn't know I needed. The staff were very helpful and perfectly polite. I was expecting and would have been happy to pay a premium for the convenience of immediate availability and advice, but the prices were no more expensive than the Internet (The Whale pressure switch was actually cheaper). And that was before you add postage to the overall price. In short, this is an excellent local business that deserves to thrive.

I should start by saying that I have never left a review before, however the customer service I received from Kingswood was exceptional and deserves a mention :) Three weeks ago I ordered an electric pump for my Kampa awning, it was so fab that I decided to order one for my Dad, as fathers day is up on us. Kingswood received the on-line order, but soon realised that I had ordered this product before, instead of just processing the order, I got a phone call from them yesterday (SUNDAY...yes SUNDAY!!), to enquire about the order; A- Did I know I was duplicating my previous order? (3 weeks previously) & B. Was there a fault with my previous order that needed sorting out? I explained that I was so happy with the product that I was treating Dad to one, to which I was told, my order was being processed and on its way!!! Low and behold its arrived this morning (Monday). Now don't know about you, but I think this is awesome, unlike most other on-line sellers they didn't just take my money and run, they wanted to ensure that I knew that I was duplicating the order, check that I was happy with the original goods and happy to proceed with this new order. 10/10 guys keep up the excellent customer service :)))

On the two occasions I have visited the Kingswood CAravan and Camping Centre this week the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. I was allowed to try items for size in my tiny Romahome before buying and felt that the prices were internet competitive. So helpful to be served by people who are actually knowledgeable about the products. I was not hurried into buying anything and will certainly recommend and I’m sure I will be back when the need arises. Thank you all.

The stock is certainly comprehensive and on requesting particular rarefied pieces surprisingly have found them to come up trumps for which I have been grateful. Yes it's not the cheapest but I support the idea of local street businesses as opposed to online to help the local economy wherever I happen to be. I don't write reviews often but sometimes I'm compelled to for it explains why I am not a willing returning customer even though I would like to be. KC&CC is a mixed bag of experiences because of it's staff. There's a reasonable number of staff here where interestingly the younger they are the more polite, interested and open minded they become. There seems to be a proprietor/manager that has a very clear idea of 'caravan' and those that have them and anything outside that model is viewed with visible disdain, to the point of rudeness. The old 'Caravan Club vs Camping and Caravan Club' - one's full of not so nice people (allegedly) The young vs the old! When challenged on this through the reviews below I find it telling that there is often attempt to blame the customer or that they are working for a competitor rather than reflect upon the critique coming through. No matter how many 5 star reviews you get, it's the poor reviews that need due diligence without defensive or patronising response (I wonder if the novice below ever went back?) otherwise you are at risk of arrogantly believing your own hype and never growing as a person or learning as an organisation.

Huge range of spares for all caravan and camping spares, plus a nice selection of used caravans. Also servicing and repairs, plus bottled gas. Very friendly staff too. Only problem is that parking can be quite restricted due to its location.

Reasonably well stocked for just about anything you need for a caravan or motorhome...But at a price. Unfortunately the internet is a better option unless you are really in a case of emergency! This is sad. I don't want to see these places die and in fact many if their competitors no longer stock parts and accessories for those reason.....But the business isn't sustainable at those prices.

Whilst on a short break to Dorset in our motorhome, one of the roof lights decided to completely detach itself and fly off into the surrounding countryside. Upon our return home, I set about locating a replacement for the said roof light. Having used Kingswood Caravan and Camping before for bottle gas and the like, I thought I would give them a try. I made my measurements and off I went, Upon entering the shop you are greeted by a cage of budgies chirping and whistling. The shop is an aladins cave of all things camping and caravaning , from cassette toilets, bottle gas, leisure batteries and so much more. Thankfully the roof light I required was in stock, and with a little help from the owner and her assistant . I paid up and was on my way, all in all it was a favourable shopping experience and would recommend. There is free customer car parking here. ps if you find this review helpful, please give it a 👍

After moving away from Bristol to live in Redditch due to a change in my career we decided to also change our Motorhome for a caravan. We had used Kay and her great team several times before for advice and various bits and pieces whilst using our motorhome but as we had out grown our little motorhome we decided to change it for a caravan. Now in Redditch we looked locally to find a caravan only to find things either to pricey or in the main in poor condition. It was on a trip back to Bristol to visit the family that we thought we'd pop in and have a look to see if they had a caravan we could afford and in fair condition. After looking around we found that their quality was fantastic with very reasonable prices that we could afford !!! . We narrowed it down to four great vans in great condition and on budget and came away very satisfied. We had a couple of requests and some minor issues that needed sorting before we could collect our lovely caravan. We are now 100% happy and would highly recommend Kay and the team

Thank you Kay and Ben at Kingswood Caravans! I recently have got into Caravaning. I spent hours, and I mean hours, making a list of everything I would need - then searching online to find the best price for each item. Then I drove past a little shop local to me - Kingswood Caravans - curiosity and my new caravaning interest made me stop. I couldn't believe that 99% of the items I looked hard for on the internet were in the shop (3 floors of caravan and camping goodies) and CHEAPER than internet prices. But, this isn't even the best bit - Kay and her team are SOOOO helpful and friendly. I had a problem with my 'easy mover' (after it had lost an arguement with a car exhaust lying in the road) Kay and her team could not have been quicker and more professional solving the problem. An example of how they operate - on a busy Saturday morning, Kay offered a member of staff to go with me to my storage site to help put the Caravan in its spot as my mover was broken. If you are after advice about tent pegs through to buying a caravan and all in between you would be a fool to go anywhere other than Kingswood Caravans. If I had bought my 'nearly new caravan' from them I would have saved £800 as well.
