Viewed a BMW X3 that Lane Pearson were advertising on line. From the first contact via phone plus a visit to their premises to view the car Andy and his staff were absolutely brilliant. A classic example of no pressure salesmanship plus a friendly atmosphere. The car itself was immaculately presented and I was allowed to take it for an unaccompanied test drive to assess my potential purchase. After an overnight “think” I decided not to proceed with the sale. Andy was understanding of my reasons (not car related). Purchased an excellent example of an RS6 from Lane Pearson. From my first contact with Lane Pearson (Andy) to collecting the car I can't fault the service received. On my iniitial enquiry the car and it's history were well explained. When I came to view the car, we went over the car and all its features in detail. Andy was happy to answer any questions I had about the car and there was a detailed paperwork folder with the car that I was able to browse through at my leisure. Once we made an agreement to purhase the car, Andy knew that we had a limited time window in which to collect it. When we arrived the car was ready for us, in perfect condition, all paperwork was clearly laid out and ready for us to sign and we were on our way again very quickly. Having purchased a couple of new Audi's from main dealers over the years as well as speaking to some main dealers whilst looking for an RS6, the service we received from Lane Pearson was the better than I have recieved from Audi. I would have not doubts in recommending them and in a few years when I am looking to change car again, Lane Pearson will be the first point of call.

After a pretty shocking experience at a BMW dealership, I fell in love with a BMW being sold by Lane Pearson. Made an initial enquiry and spoke with Louis. Wow, having been looked down on by BMW, it was a refreshing to be treated with respect and a genuine level of customer service that exceeded all expectations. Louis was very helpful, knowledgeable and didn’t mind answering all of my questions. He also judged my knowledge of cars very well and simplified some of his answers without making me feel silly or inadequate. I asked to visit a couple a days later to view and test drive the car. Louis emailed me the day before to confirm I was still coming. Sadly, financing the car caused me a few problems due to banks being cautious through Covid so I called Louis to advise that I wouldn’t be able to make it and the reasons why. He listened and then suggested I speak with Andy. Andy kindly took me through the finance options available with him and I found that the APR was not that much higher than what my bank was offering. So, my visit was back on. Made the 100 mile journey to Bristol and was welcomed by the lovely Jan. I was slightly early and Louis and Andy were out doing other business but Jan made me feel comfortable, she makes a great cup of coffee too. Louis arrives and takes me to the car. He shows me around and once again spends time answering all my questions, showing me what all the buttons did and accompanying a test drive. There was no hurry. I was able to test drive the car in built up areas and on the motorway, what a treat. On returning, everything was easy, no pressure, no hard sell and plenty of time to talk everything through. Of course I bought the car! This is my first big investment in a car and the whole team but more so Louis made the whole experience one to remember. Working in the leisure industry myself, I expect my team to have impeccable customer service skills, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with a company with the same ethos. Must also point out that the company were very Covid aware, everything was sanitised and masks were worn. A big plus for me! Would highly recommend the team if you’re looking for a relaxed, professional and customer focused experience. I now plan on taking my gorgeous car back to the original BMW dealership I visited and letting them know they lost a sale due to judging a book by its cover! Hey, may even wear the hat Andy gave me :-)

We do comprehensive works on the vehicles using correct repair methods, no SMART repairs or quick touch ups.. If ever we recommend a repair it is generally completed. This is a business based on relationships and morals, targets for multiple sales are not what Lane Pearson is about. These guys are one of the very few garages we will work for based on the above.. The first thing I feel compelled to say is that this was a refreshing car buying experience, right from the first email. I never once felt pressured; I never felt I was being fed a line; all the information received was accurate and to the point and the car was as good as explained. I wasn't at all disappointed, as they said I wouldn't be. From my interactions with Andy, the owner, I could tell he really is in to his cars, not just into selling them which was a plus for me. I went to see Hyundai Santa Fe Automatic 2016 model. It was just 15 mins in closing of their office. Mr Andy Lane was helpful beyond limits & kindly offered me to test drive the car. He told me that he will wait for me & no need to hurry. I drove this car & found it a super star. It had all modern day gadgets. It was very spacious. It was really smooth & enjoyable drive. I went back after long time & Mr Andy did not pose any questions about my delay. Back in July, I was looking to swop my 10 year old diesel Blue Motion Polo for a petrol car but hoping to find another VW Blue Motion . Trawling the web ,I found Andy's site and a tempting car with sun roof, so went to view. What i really appreciated about this company was that there was no pressure to buy this more expensive car, which I shouldn't have been looking at really. I was given test drives for it and another less costly model, then found out that Andy could trawl the nation to find me exactly what I wanted,. There was no hurry and plenty of time to discuss the matter. In a very short time, Andy had tracked down a 2016 VW just what I wanted, in tip top condition with low mileage, and at a very fair price Even better, he accepted in p/ex my 08 reg car, warts and all, which saved me the hassle of selling privately. . All done with much warmth and many cups of tea! It;s easy to miss the garage, as it is tucked away near the Enterprise Car Hire plot but with eyes peeled you will find it! I cannot recommend Andy and his team highly enough. The most pleasant car purchase in my life!

Great advice during the initial enquiry, followed up with real flexibility on the demo, how many companies would allow a test drive with a caravan on the back? Lane Pearson did. Really wanted to like this dealer but despite it saying was open, there was no one there. A padlocked door wasn't particularly inviting and a multitude of other unconnected businesses on the same location (hire car and car repair shop) make for poor parking options. Staff were ok on the phone when we finally got in touch but I won't be making a special trip in the future without checking ahead - wouldn't think twice about just rocking up to a main dealer so I guess this might be the norm at a smaller one. They really need a new location to themselves.

It's fair to say that I had not heard of Lane Pearson but while searching for a new Skoda Citigo EV it was a good day for me when I did. To meet Andy and his small team was a great pleasure, In actual fact I got lost and after phoning Andy he came and escorted me to their premises. After a test drive in the Citigo, my first in a battery only vehicle, I don't think the smile has left my face when I drive it as it's truly lovely.
