M. P.I had two separate valuation visits, one week apart. I couldn't actually sell after the first visit because of an issue with personal registration plates and needing to wait for the DVLA to issue a new V5. Arguably my fault. But I got a good offer for my car that I was happy with. Less than the online valuation, but I accept the reasons for that.
The car was in identical condition one week later, except for having done about 200 miles more. The online valuation was exactly the same as it had been before. And yet, the offer I received was £900 lower than it had been just one week previously. And even this was after some haggling!
Both members of staff who dealt with me were very professional and friendly. And the final offer I got still beat a part-ex offer I'd received. But I do have the feeling at the back of my mind that I should have received £900 more for my car than I did. If it wasn't for that, this would have been a five star review.
