Fantastic Service Department. I've had a few issues with my car recently through no fault of my own and Sinclair have been amazing in resolving and compromising with me to get these issues fixed. This is how car sales should be done. I found the perfect car at Sinclair Volkswagen, requested more info and in no less than an hour I was sent a personalised video from the Simon Clay (Sales Exec) inviting me in to have a look. I arrived the next day, met Simon and he took me to look around the car. He then took us on a test drive before going back to the delarship to discuss my part exchange and how I would pay for the vehicle. I explained I didn't need finance and he appreciated this and at no point was there a pushy sales ethic. I was a little unsure of the car, so Simon offered to take me on an extended test drive. Back to the dealership and I paid the balance. Nothing was too much for Simon and this is how car sales should be done. Professional, friendly and not pushy. Why other dealerships/garages find this so hard I don't know! There's a friendly vibe at the dealership with all the staff being attentive to people as they walk in with no pushy sales. The service team are knowledgeable and honest (Declan), where they instill a feeling of trust. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Ben Davies was very professional from start to finish & made our purchase very easy and seamless. Communication from Ben was 10/10. Overall very happy with our experience here. A few niggles but they’ve all been sorted out without fuss and helpfully. Purchased a new Golf from the factory. For various reasons we needed the car to arrive in a certain time window which Jess and Amy managed very well. We negotiated what we think is a fair price for the car and at no point were we put under any pressure to buy at all which was great. We also had no pressure to purchase any of the various options like gap and cosmetic insurance as we moved through the process. As I say the car arrived when we needed it to arrive. We added a steel rear bumper protector but it didn’t arrive with the car. It’s an aftermarket add on which we had to come back a month later to have done. However we were given a Passat as a courtesy car so we weren’t inconvenienced to any great extent whilst it was sorted. We had a bit of a discussion about rubber mats and again everything was resolved in a friendly manner. The staff have always been willing to go as far as they can and in our experience meet you in the middle. We’d certainly recommend the dealer and the car is lovely. The process was easy and the niggles sorted out very much to our satisfaction. Jess and Amy were friendly, professional, helpful, open to listening to proposals, and fair. The coffee is really good there too!

I have been fortunate over the years to be able to buy a brand-new car every couple of years. I do not have a specific brand loyalty and have bought cars from Range Rover, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi but I must say the service I received from Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff specifically the service manager Mr Lee Mitchell has been outstanding. His professionalism, knowledge and friendly can-do attitude went above and beyond what you normally expect from a car dealership. Whether you are a Volkswagen fan or not, the way Mr Mitchell runs his service department is outstanding. My congratulations to Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff and my personal thanks and congratulations to Lee Mitchell. It would also be remiss of me not to mention Gavin Howe, who was the salesman who sold us our Electric ID3, again outstanding service with friendliness and experience a pleasure to do buisness with you. Had a 'wait' appointment and service wasn't hugely rapid, but there was a nice comfortable waiting area (with WiFi!) so I was able to get some work done. The car park was very full, especially considering I was there first thing, so it took a while to find a space and everything was squeezed in rather tightly.

I'm surprised some people seem so dissatisfied. I bought my vehicle new over 9 years ago and have had all the servicing done there (even tyre replacements). The prices are reasonable (considering it's a main dealer), people who work there are pleasant, and work appears to be done to a high standard. As someone else has mentioned, parking can be tight, but it has never been an insurmountable problem for me.

After having a terrible experience at Newport Sinclair I came to Cardiff Sinclair with very little hope , although I was proven very wrong.
