I have never had any concerns in relation to my experience with Sytner Cardiff but felt that they really went above and beyond during my recent experience.
I love my car, which is out of warranty and that I have decided to purchase at the end of my financial agreement next month. I was a bit disappointed therefore, which I conveyed to the team, when I had a fault that needed repair recently and further issues were also noted on inspection. It meant a few days without my car and I was anticipating a pricey outcome.
Sytner were open, honest, helpful and fair. They answered my queries clearly and in detail, so that there was no confusion but also patiently and with empathy. They kept me updated daily which was a challenge due to issues with my mobile reception on more than one occasion (!) but would endeavour to return my calls, be available when I called back. They were also consistently personable, as always. I was satisfied anyway but the icing on the cake was when they informed me that as a loyal customer who has consistently had all servicing and works completed with them since purchase, they would cover the cost of the parts, the biggest part of the bill. This was unexpected but greatly appreciated.
I ended my experience feeling that I could trust Sytner and had received exemplary service. This was up until the end when I was running late to collect my car on a Saturday and they left the keys with the Sales dept. for me so that I could have it that day. It has reinforced that I will get my next car there when the new model comes out and that I would also recommend to family and friends.

I’ve waited to review these (don’t normally leave reviews) and 6 months on they have really gone above and beyond for us. Anne Marie is the lady that looked after us. We drove from Oxford to Wales to buy our BMW 320 and I’d do it again when we buy next. Don’t hesitate, honestly you won’t regret it.

Haven't bought a car here but just had a newly purchased second hand vehicle serviced & to sort some minor issues. Customer service from Joe was absolutely top notch. I mentioned the smell of smoke from previous owner & how my wife was unhappy with it as we have a new baby due any day and she's worried about 3rd hand smoke. Joe arranged a full valet & air con bomb' for free which has done the trick. Everything was explained clearly & really can't fault the service.

Massive shoutout to Rob Clear the Sales Executive. From the moment you arrive he’s very welcoming and accommodating, doesn’t pressure you in to anything like I have experienced at other dealerships.
Very knowledgeable about all of the products and services and will go above and beyond to try and find your perfect car.
If you’re looking to buy from here you will be looking at cars at a premium price and therefore it is a big investment to make so be prepared to listen to all the options they have available as they explain them very clearly.
Where I personally believe Rob excelled beyond expectation was his after sales care. He messaged me a few days after I left to see how the car was and how I was finding it, and despite a few problems that I had in the following days they were all solved by Rob and his colleagues I quickly and effectively.
To summarise BMW Sytner Cardiff is a fantastic dealership and I will certainly be using their services moving forward.

I had satisfactory pre-sales discussion with the staff, however, the dealership lacks massively in their after-sales communication area.
I noticed a couple of issues with the car & these have not resolved since I purchased the car 3 months ago. Despite writing several emails to the dealership, the email response has been bad.
Recently, I requested call backs from the dealership, however did not receive any response so far. This is Appallingly poor!

We have just collected a vehicle from this branch and I have to say I was really impressed. Not pushy, understanding and kept to their promise. There were two flaws not previously raised before arriving and although I wasn't massively pleased, they owned up to it and said they would have them sorted at no cost to us. The sales Executive Chris Mannion was a lovely guy too. I'm pretty sure he came in on his day off which went a long way for me because that shows dedication. I'm a service freak so this is important to me....people buy from people after all. The service desk, receptionists, business manager were all polite, friendly, welcoming and gave a great service. Took my partners car in for a brake fluid service, took over three hours which was longer than originally stated to then them state they had charged me for a wheel alignment I didn’t ask for as one wheel was slightly out as well after all was concluded. Good customer care but the additional costs added prior to discussion was unprofessional and had I known it would take so long I would have organised alternative transport so I wasn’t left waiting around so long.

Called in to have mandatory safety recall work carried out. Made to feel very welcome with lots of complimentary coffees on hand.

Having been looking for an indulgence car for some time, which I finally located at Sytner BMW in Cardiff ticking all the boxes; some 200 miles away from where I work.
From making my initial online enquiry, the service received from Liam (Humphreys) was exceptional and far exceeded all expectations, which were already high given the investment I was making.
Nothing was ever too much trouble for this extremely personable individual; responding to my questions and queries immediately and as fully as possible; and there were many!
Having decided to proceed with the purchase, the whole buying experience was concluded within just 7 days of my initial enquiry to driving away in the car and could not have been more seamless throughout.
Finally, Liam was on his stand-down when collecting the car, which was again expertly handled in his absence by a colleague (Dale); another friendly and extremely personable individual. But Liam did call-in during the handover to touch-base and check everything was too my liking - another very nice touch and customer service personified I feel.
In sum, exceptional and refreshing end-to-end service from the Team at Sytner Cardiff and one I would have no hesitation in recommending to family, friends and colleagues in the future. First car finance for me at the actual official shop here in Cardiff. I have been assisted by Calum MacKenzie (sales) who set me up for two test drives (2 Series Coupe - 220d and M240). He comfortably gave me time and space to decide but most importantly he has never been pushy. Mathew Boyce, from finance, guided me through the PCP figures and took time to genuinely listened to my needs in order to get me the best deal possible. Every single step of the process was clear and simple to my eyes thanks to them.

Took my car in for its first Mot and also to have done the end of warranty checks. Contact at first was great i was informed of the process and what to do received a text and also a call to make me aware of the process that they have in place due to covid, which i think was great.
The disappointment is that upon collecting my car i asked if i could set up a service agreement with them, i was advised the person that i needed to speak to was on the phone so agreed for them to call me back, we are now over three weeks down the road ! And still no call back to discuss the options available. The young chap who dealt with the work i have not been able to contact even after several calls to the office. Really disappointed with this.

It's the second time we have visited this garage to have some work done on our car.
The staff are very professional and extremely helpful and nothing is to much trouble.
The drive through service center is amazing totally stress free just drive in and hand over the keys and just sit back and relax in the waiting area with free refreshments.
There was only one disappointment and that was we were asked is we want our car cleaned free so obviously we said yes.
At first glance from a distance it look clean but it was not that good.
It had just had a quick hoover inside it was ok but could have been better.
Outside hadn't been cleaned at all the wheels looked like they had been wiped over with a dirty rag to make it look like it had been cleaned.
My opinion is if you are going to be offered this service whether it's free or not it should be done to a high standard otherwise don't offer it.
It is quite obvious that the person who is responsible has no pride or care in the work they do.
Bearing in mind these are high end quality cars.

Can't thank him enough. 10 🌟saying that I recently went back & was treated like my car wasn't,t good enough for them to look at. If you don't buy or have a warranty with bmw themselves, then theire service is descusting. Wanted £180 for work,even after they didn,t do anything ex tell me my tyres were not bmw tyres, even though they were all brand new. I paid them £50 to b told that. I am completely happy with the service that I have received from Sytner Cardiff including the salesman (Richard Gardiner), the New Vehicle Sales Manager (Alex Harris), the Service staff and all their efforts to solve the problem, source a loan vehicle and source a new vehicle for me. I picked this up within a week of rejecting the faulty vehicle but I am currently waiting for the display key which was missing, not having been sent with the new vehicle. GREAT SERVICE!

The only problem was Sytner wanted the car delivered before payment was made I had to wait until the next day for payment I was quiet nervous until the payment went through. Had to take my 12 year old e93 for a recall. The work was done free of charge and the health check picked up a few things that needed attention. I waited on site while the repair was carried out. The best experience I have had so far when looking for my new Motability vehicle!!
Mark James, the motability colleague, was very well versed in the intricacies of the scheme, what was available to users and an expert knowledge of the vehicles on offer.
My initial enquiry was at the reception desk, where Covid-19 arrangements were explained before anything else. Expecting to make an appointment for a future time, Mark was free and we spent a pleasant hour discussing the options over a cup of coffee.
I decided to look at the X1 in the showroom and was impressed enough to book a test drive next day.
The car was beautiful, unfortunately my wife and I felt the rear seating space was smaller than we were used to, and not suited to our needs. 😢.
No rush, no pressure and just a very satisfying experience. Thank you Mark and Sytner.

Negotiated an AUC deal with them, put down the deposit, signed the contract and arranged a delivery - took them two weeks to tell me the car has a missing service history so cannot be sold as AUC - then proceed to sell me "Sytner Select" and other more expensive model.
I said thank you but I'll look elsewhere - now they are not replying my email, and no refund for the deposit? The car is then listed again on BMW website as an AUC (LV66DTO 2016 420d)… bait?

I called up BMW looking to upgrade my 18 plate 1series for the new shape 1 series. I was assisted my Callum mckenzie who sourced me the exact car I wanted. I was given a good price for my old car and was given a good deal on my finance deal with Mathew. Not a brilliant experience but then again not a total disaster. Having been told my car would be prepared to the highest standard I was disappointed when I inspected it. Scratches to rear bumper, not valeted properly as there was mud on the rear of the front seat and although the car looked clean it was covered in tree sap. Also, the display key is not recognised by the car and will have to go into BMW for re-programming.
That said, when I did complain I was more than happy with the service I received, albeit I am without a car for three days. It wont deter me from dealing again but hopefully this feedback will help improve customer satisfaction, in particular the valeting and prep prior to collection.

She has listened (which is such an important quality) to my requirements and has provided a true customer focused experience. I'm now an extremely satisfied customer sporting one of the first X2's in the Cardiff region.
If I was being really picky, I would say that the car parking situation is a little crowded and maybe the branch has out grown the site. However, that won't detract from a 5 star rating, as I'm very brand loyal and convincing me to switch in a real coup.

I was recently contacted by BMW to return my car to a local dealer due to a recall for a quality enhancement.
Although I live in Bristol I decided to take my car to Synter, BMW in Cardiff because I had always been happy with the service they gave.
I was given Sophie Gibson as my Service Advisor.
I returned my car and a curtesy car was arranged for me.
When i entered the showroom I was greeted in a friendly manner by a young lady who took me over to Sophie's desk.
Sophie was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable, she explained what was happening and said she would keep me updated through the day.
She called me later to say a problem had developed but had contacted BMW and they were prepared to supply the part to correct this free of charge.
I returned to collect my car and subsequently returned to Bristol, some fifty miles away.
Unfortunately the next day another problem developed and I emailed Sophie.
She quickly responded suggesting i let her know when it was convenient to bring the car back, which i did.
I returned my car and when it was checked over it was found to have a problem that wasn't related to the recall.
I wasn't happy about this and explained to Sophie that I didn't have any problems before the recall.
She said she would have to discuss this with BMW but it was likely to take a few days so arranged a curtesy car for me to return to Bristol.
Over the next few days she kept me informed about the way her discussion was going with BMW.
Her next call was to tell me that BMW had agreed to do the necessary repairs free of charge as a gesture of goodwill and would advise when my car was ready to collect.
She did and I returned to collect it.
Having spent a lifetime in customer facing businesses both in the UK and most of Europe I feel I am qualified to say that the service I received personally from Sophie and indirectly from the technicians and BMW is some of the best I have ever encountered.
A situation developed that could have been both stressful and difficult but it was handled at all times in a very professional, friendly manner.

I have not long come home from picking my car up from BMW Cardiff and I have to say the service was excellent.
Booked in online without any problems and when I came this morning I was greeted by a nice lady at reception and within minutes I was seen by a lady called Sanchia.
Sanchia is a credit to BMW service team. No sooner had I had arrived back to work and she phoned to say it was front brake pads that needed doing but promptly phoned back to say it was in fact the brake sensor cable at fault.
I was sent the CitNow straight after we got off the phone and by 11am-ish I was phoned to say the car was ready. I picked the car up about 5:15pm and was seen within minutes. I am so blown away by the great service that I will always keep coming back to BMW Cardiff to maintain my car.
