I recently purchased a Giulia through D Salmon Cars and can honestly say I received an excellent service, especially from Lewis Calver in sales. Unfortunately I didn't have long on my initial visit, but Lewis was brilliant, answered all my questions, and arranged to complete the final paperwork remotely.
Unfortunately the car had a couple of minor issues on delivery, however the service department went above and beyond to sort these for me. Credit to Darren Lynn service manager.
I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for an Alfa Romeo.

I took the 2010 Fiat 500 1.4 sport that I bought for my wife. It had a problem with the start/stop system. I’d had it looked at by a “garage” under warranty - £329 and fault still there ! Plus a lot of “bodging” and poor repair!. I was recommended D Salmon by a friend in the trade.
Took it there today and WHAT A DIFFERENCE - They diagnosed it straight away, fixed it and now my wife’s very happy (as am I !). What lovely and helpful staff, the car park, workshops and showrooms were all awesome !. THANK YOU ALL !. Your a credit to yourselves - Customer Satisfaction indeed !

Friendly staff with no hard sell. Everything was explained in detail and our questions were answered fully. We dealt with Mark who was the salesman on the Jeep side and he arranged a test drive for us. We tried the vehicle and were almost sold on the idea of purchasing that particular model. However we said we would let him know in a day or so after thinking it over. After we arrived home I decided that the model we tried did not match my Jag and called Mark to say we would not proceed with the purchase. After explaining why Mark said if he could find another vehicle to meet my requirements would I still be interested, he called the next day to say he could access another model for me. I agreed and a week later went down to Colchester to test drive another vehicle. I test drove a courtesy car and within a couple of miles made up my mind to purchase a new Jeep. We completed the order there and then.
The whole process from PXing the Jag to collecting the new motor was completed was 2 weeks. Brilliant service.

We have had our Dodge Viper serviced, MOT’d, recalled by Dodge and parts ordered from the States - all through D Salmon. On each occasion the experience has been excellent. The service team are unfailingly courteous, responsive and ‘on top of things’.

Not my local Alfa dealer, but Andy in parts department is second to none, knows his stuff and did in half hour what other dealers couldn't manage in 3 days. Would recommend them above others! And to top it off, the price on parts was similar, if not in one instance cheaper than used on line parts.

Philip was brilliant, he was very knowledgeable about the car, made us a cup of coffee and showed me around the car on the test drive. Fantastic service from all the team. Paul, Debbie, Lauren and Chris were all so helpful in making some safety checks and repairs to my Fiat Punto that I’d purchased elsewhere. Could do with more comfortable seating for Motability customers. Other than that they do the job you'd expect and their reminder service for warranty tune ups etc are excellent but not the best spot for hanging around for an hour or two while car being checked.

I've been a customer here 15 years and my experience has generally been positive (though not invariably so). Service is serious and professional. As you would expect for a franchised dealer, their prices are not cheap. Salmons is conveniently located and a hire car service is available while yours is being serviced.

I have just had my Jeep serviced at D Salmon Cars. They also carried out warantee work items including work previously attempted by a jeep dealer in Chelmsford that caused more damage than when it went in. Vehicle feels like it has been serviced and is running like new. Its so nice to finally find a dealer that understands the vehicles they are working on. On picking up the vehicle time was spend running through all the works that had been done. Great dealer, its a shame all jeep dealers in the area are not the same.

Recently bought an Abarth 595 for my wife from D Salmon Cars. Mark Davis was able to source us the car which we wanted, both specifications & in the correct colour. He regularly made contact to update us on delivery date, and explained all of the options available regarding purchase. We were very satisfied with his attention. The delivered car had some white specs after the removal of the protective covering as well as some water marks after being jet washed. Neither should have been there on a brand new car.

I have given a 4 * rating mainly based on the buying experience of Philip. However, after sales is a nightmare. We purchased a sat nav at point of sale and had been discussion having a sat nav through our buying cycle. The sat nav is effectively a memory card which slots into the dash. Simple you would think. 5 weeks later, no sat nav, still It's on back order. I can buy one on amazon and eBay with next day delivery although having paid for it have to wait.
Come on D Salmon, customer experience is paramount these days... Get fiat and yourselves together, its a sat nav not a rare bespoke fitted addition, these days its a standard expectation. Please!!
