Brilliant service ad communication. Liam was extremely helpful and friendly from the start. He listened to what I required and ensured I got the perfect car for my needs and my budget. He kept in regular contact whilst waiting for the car to arrive and was very efficient at organising the collection. The bow was a nice little touch on collection day too. Would highly recommend.

Having been a Duster owner for the past year and a half I got into conversation with Liam Mcmahon (sales advisor) who explained that the Duster now comes as an automatic.
An appointment was made and Liam took my wife and I through the whole process. We found Liam not only experienced and knowledgeable but very professional throughout the entire appointment.
Liam kept us informed from the day of ordering to the vehicle arriving into the country to the day of delivery and we were made to feel at ease throughout the whole process.
On the day of collection we were greeted with photo 1 (nice touch Liam)
and photo 2 was the unveiling .
we were made to feel special and welcome and nothing was to much trouble (even the coffee is recommended).
A great experience had all round and a big big thank you to Liam for the way in which he conducted himself.

I've always had a bad experiences with salesman but the staff here where exceptional. I was with Richard Crisp for 3 hours and he had all the time in the world for me as I needed help with deciding on a car. He was very knowledgeable and I was look after. I did buy the Renault Clio and can't wait to recieve it.
I even for a personal video before and after my visit showing me the car which was a nice touch. I was very happy with the deal i got. The management were also very fair, friendly and professional. I really couldn't of ask for a better service and I would highly recommend this show room.

Excellent experience all round. Such a friendly service from start to finish. I could not of asked for better. Richard our sales adviser was wonderful. He sent us a video explaining full details of the car inside and out, which we received before we even reached home. We was also given weekly progress updates regarding shipping.
When we collected the car it was amazing. We was treated like royalty. We got to drive the car off the show room floor. It was covered and unvailed to us with full inspection to our satisfaction and a personalized sign next to car , which made the experience all that more special.The manager even came and introduced himself! My partner and I had our first child in April and needed a new car as we had a small 3 door. We decided to go into Glyn Hopkin to get a feel for different cars and see if any suited our needs. Liam greeted us promptly and was incredibly friendly; encouraging us to look around all the vehicles, asking many questions so he could help us find exactly what we were looking for and within our price range. We booked 2 test drives with him for the Dacia Duster and Stepway, which was so easy to do. After test driving both vehicles, we had decided we liked the Stepway more. We had never purchased a car from a dealership/garage, and we had many questions about how the process worked. Liam was so helpful, didn't make us feel silly or like we had asked any stupid questions, he remained professional, but we could also feel that he genuinely wanted to help us. He made us feel so at ease and explained the whole process so simply. After we placed our deposit, he continued to contact us at least once a month to give us an update on our vehicle, which was expected to take 6 months, but to our delight it got here a month earlier. The whole experience was wonderful, Liam was incredibly helpful, professional and just lovely, very chatty, smiley and welcoming. When we went to collect the car and sign the paperwork the Branch Manager also came over and thanked us for choosing them, which although is such a small gesture made us feel like we were valued customers. Compared to the last dealership I had to deal with Renault Colchester were superstars. Being a Motability user having to go around dealerships looking at cars you get to see different levels of customer service, and the great customer service at Renault, in particular the Motability specialist Richard, they were by far the best I had come across. They kept me informed through all the uncertainty of the car shortages at present and had everything running smoothly start to finish.
They even helped deal with my previous car before having to hand it back due to having to extend my lease until my new car was ready.

We ordered our Sandero in December 21. From the very beginning the salesman Richard Crisp has been brilliant. He kept us informed all the way through the manufacturing process and finally to delivery which happened very quickly once it had arrived in UK (1st week July 22).
The icing on the cake was that our humble Sandero was "gift wrapped" when I arrive to collect it from the dealership and a congratulatory notice on the top of the car.
All paperwork was completed with the minimum of fuss and I was given a great explanation of how to operate everything in the car. The manager came and shook my hand at the end of the process. We found ourselves looking for a new car having unfortunately been involved in an accident. Not knowing what car to select we looked at dealerships with an open mind.
We visited Glyn Hopkin Renault Colchester and was keen on their selection. Liam came over and introduced himself; he was very friendly and knowledgeable and my husband and I instantly struck a rapport with him.
We told him what we were looking for: a slightly bigger vehicle, sitting higher and feeling robust and safe. Liam suggested the Captur, showed us the options available which we liked so he promptly arranged a test drive for us. Liam was very good and patient especially with myself as I was quite nervous driving following the accident. The test drive was lovely but the Captur didn't quite tick the boxes. Unfazed by this, Liam suggested the Kadjar having listened to our feedback during the test drive.
We had a look at the range available on the forecourt and instantly liked one of them and asked if we could have another test drive. Liam promptly arranged this and the car was amazing in every category. Having returned to the centre, Liam had barely gotten out of the car when we told him we'd buy it; we were that impressed by the vehicle and Liam's customer service.
Prior to the collection date, Liam stayed in contact to make sure everything would run smoothly during the handover.
On the day of the handover, Liam was efficient with his paperwork and with explaining all about the car. There was a slight mark that we hadn't seen during our initial visit and he was honest in pointing this out to us, which showed his high standards and integrity.
The experience we received from Glyn Hopkin Renault and Liam was brilliant and faultless. They made the whole experience of having to find a replacement car an enjoyable one.

Returning Customer! Myself and my husband used this dealers a few years back when we purchased our first new car, the customer service then was amazing but when we decided to trade it in and purchase a used car the service standards had been upped a notch, this is when we met Matthew Float. He was absolutely amazing, he gave us the best customer service possible and nothing was too much for him. We then decided we needed another car so we went back and again saw Matthew who was happy to help us in this quest. Moving on to a few months ago we decided we would both like a new car but we knew that when we attended we didn't want to deal with any other sales advisor other than Matthew as he had treated us so well on our last purchases that it just had to be him we saw. Thankfully he was there that day and we could start the process for our new cars. Matthew has been fantastic from start to finish, even with my 8 year old he answered all the questions he had even though they more than likely were not valid questions this made him stand out because even though that young boy wasn't purchasing he treated him like he was a customer. He really is a credit to your company and your team no question is too small for him to answer and he has kept us up to date with 2 weekly phone calls so we knew what was going on in every point of the process that the cars went through. To also keep it personal he contacted myself and my husband individually to update us on our own cars rather than making it a joint call to save himself time which i found amazing as it kept that personal touch. Since suffering from a stroke I have struggled with speech amongst other things, Liam Immediately made it his priority to make me feel welcome and gave me all the time I needed to tell him exactly what I wanted, which I haven’t had in many other car dealerships. It took nearly a year to receive my van, and during that time my order needed to be changed from an old style traffic van to a new one with an increased cost. That being said, Glyn Hopkins but more importantly Richard Crisp who was the sales agent dealing with my order was EXCELLENT. This period was exceptionally difficult for all car manufacturers and delays due to covid, microchips etc have been felt by the whole industry so I understood this was taken out of Renaults hands. Richard updated me regularly and more often than promised, not backing away when he had to inform me of difficult news (such as my original order needing to be cancelled). Every step of the way I was kept updated and had it not been for Richard then I might have gone somewhere else. Renault and Glyn Hopkin should really make sure they keep hold of him. I think you can only judge a company by the service they provide and in hiring Richard that service was second to none so I would definitely recommend using them.

I recently purchased a Renault Zoe 2021 from this branch. I am completely new to the electric car world and had lots of questions. All of them were answered immediately by their clearly knowledgeable staff. I had complete peace of mind and query satisfaction by merely calling into the branch asking questions.
Friendly, professional and couldn't do more to help me. In the past, I have purchased new cars from other companies, and their after sales service (especially Mini) was shocking. My whole experience and service I received was excellent and highly recommended. When entering the showroom I was greeted by Liam McMahon who made me feel very welcome. Firstly he took me through all the different models available matching to my requirements. I decided on the Arkana RS Line which we took for a test drive. I was impressed with the car and after sometime I decided to purchase this model. At no time did I feel pushed or pressured into a decision. All questions I had were answered fully and all information on the car was offered by Liam.
We then moved onto the finance. All options were clearly explained to me by Liam. I had a Clio which I traded in and was offered a very good deal. Once I decided which option to take Liam created the paperwork which made it very clear as to what I was signing up to and what payments I have to make.
I left the showroom very happy and while waiting for my new Arkana to arrive Liam kept in touch and updated me with progress. Once the car arrived I went to pick it up and Liam went through all the workings on the car and completed the paperwork. I drove away in my new very satisfied. I also have to say the Arkana is a excellent car which I am very happy with and can recommend a test drive.
The process from start to finish was made very easy and Liam was helpful and attentive every step. I can fully recommend for anyone thinking of purchasing a new car. 5 out of 5 stars.

Richard could not have got the blend of helpfulness, curtesy & politeness and in-depth knowledge of the product any better. If Glyn Hopkins will excuse the expression, given its franchises, we had Rolls Royce service when buying our new Renault E-tech. Liam McMahon, who dealt with us throughout, could not have been more pleasant to deal with than he was. He was understanding of our needs, rather than pushy. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble; he went well beyond the lengths one might expect. Even though he had warned us that due to the current "chips" shortage it might be some time before we had our new car ready for the road, he kept us well informed of progress throughout. And I believe his promise to be available for "aftercare" by way of advice or help if we should need it. They have been very helpful in discussing my requirements and finding a vehicle that suited me as there was an issue in making sure that a wheel chair could fit into the boot.

My son’s Clio developed a misfire. I tried throwing some parts at it before giving up and taking it to an independent garage. They tried some more parts, at which point the car stopped sending fault codes that their kit could read. So I prepared myself for a 💰 bill and went to the main dealer.

After doing our research we decided on a Dacia Duster. We visited Glyn Hopkin as they are the closest dealer as we live in Great Clacton. We were looked after by a lovely chap called Richard Ferris. Richard showed us around the car and then we went inside for a coffee. We decided to go home and shop around to see if we could save on their price. Richard very kindly sent us a video of the car that we were interested in. The following day Richard called to see if we had made a decision but we were still waiting to hear from other dealers. My wife prefers to buy locally so we had decided to purchase the car from Glyn Hopkins. Whilst shopping in B&Q we received a call from Richards boss asking for feedback about Richard. He then asked if we had made a decision about the car. I explained that I was still waiting for other dealers to email me and he used the old 1980s time share sales tactic "well if you can't afford it maybe by a lottery ticket". I was not impressed with this and told my wife that due to this I would not buy the car! Richard then called and due to his friendly professional manner we changed our minds. Awesome experience. Couldn't be happier with my new car. Renault Arkana hybrid. Absolutely brilliant. No plugging in to charge. Not using the electricity grid to charge up is a handy godsend. (Can't plug in anything like a car at home, too far away from the power point and having MS makes it harder) so the Arkana has seriously helped out what with fuel prices so high at the moment. It's a total dream to drive and I feel 100% safe!
