Recently spent an afternoon with James Payne at Lookers Volvo Colchester, and ordered my new car. He was extremely helpful and up front with advice in helping me select the right model. No “pushy salesman” just honest and straightforward. A very personable and personal service. A great experience that I would recommend.

Just traded in my old car for a nearly new Volvo. The dealership had a good quantity of nearly new to 3 year old stock to review, and the cars were generally in a good condition. We were helped by a new sales agent called Kelly, who was very helpful and considerate. If there were any areas she was not clear on, the management team offered good support. We were very pleased with the whole process from the trade in negotiations to the collection of our new vehicle. Would definitely recommend the dealership and Kelly was a joy to deal with.

My car was in for repair as the energy management system light came on, as my car was still under warranty I was entitled to a hire vehicle. The customer services assistant named Rachel was very helpful, polite and experienced which gave me the confidence that she was in total control of the system that needed to be activated. Unfortunately the back up that Rachel deserved was far from satisfactory. Rachel put the wheels in motion (excuse the pun) for me to get the hire car, it actually took three days to arrive, which as a I use my car for work purposes really did not help. If all the services that should have worked as efficient as Rachel I would have been a very satisfied customer. However as this review is about the dealership, the customer services at the dealer was excellent and I would not have any issue recommending anyone to use them.

Went to look at an XC90 - shown an excellent example with a wealth of detail from a really well informed sales exec, test drive easily arranged and follow up video made by Sales exec James, sent after our visit. Didn’t buy the car because we needed something slightly different but definitely feel that we were treated very well.

Mike Needham was absolutely brilliant from our very first call. We bought the car on our first visit as the service was second to none. We also met his manager Rob who looked after us incredibly well. The whole process was made so easy for us, there were no other brands that could compete.

Volvo did not have a waiting time slot but managed to squeeze in my car on the day and also complete the repairs - all in the same day.
