Nice laid out car salesroom but we turned right at the showroom into a field where Circus Fantasia were performing. Excellent value for money. 2 hours of Eastern European acrobats , clowns and female dancers. If you have children and/or grandchildren take them. They are in Colchester until the end of the week. Living in Hornchurch, we are lucky to have two Mercedes dealerships quite close to us (Southend & Thurrock Lakeside), but when the perfect car we were looking for became available at Colchester we went to see it. We were greeted by Salesman Alex Osborne, who was a breath of fresh air... he is possibly the most likeable and laid back salesman we have ever met. Mercedes are fabulous cars, but, the customer service is above outstanding - a rare commodity nowadays! We collected our new car this week (our second purchase from this dealership) and were again thrilled to be treated with such care, expertise and professionalism. Our huge thanks must go to Alex, for outstanding dedication especially standing in the bitter cold for ages with just a jacket on whilst we made our choice of car. He was polite, courteous, and exceptionally well informed, but not at all 'pushy' or impatient; he is a credit to the brand. We would also like to thank Matt for his dedicated and thorough 'hand over' skills when we collected our car. He made sure we knew the car, was informative without being patronising, sorted out our phones blue tooth connection to the car and was a dedicated bringer of many delicious coffees, which we appreciated very much! When the time came for me to think about making a decision, all my questions were answered and I never felt that I was pressured into purchasing. Went into the dealership on the 18/9/18 on the off chance that somebody would be able to fit my personalised number plates onto my car that I’d actually bought from the Chelmsford branch 2 weeks prior. I did not have an appointment and I appreciate that on the list of important jobs that the team there probably had to do on this day my number plates would of understandably been very far down on this list of priorities. However, I was greeted with a smile by Kate and Hayley and the desk, who were very polite, understanding, and helpful even with my small query. After a short phone call to clarify my needs, James Gardner came out to fit my plates in a very efficient manner. I was only charged £20 for this service and was in and out within 30 mins. I wasn’t made to feel an Inconvenience at all even with my small ask and without an appointment. Can’t praise the 3 people I’ve mentioned enough and will be looking forward to yet more excellent customer service when I return to purchase my next car which will now be at the Colchester branch.

My wife and I have been having our vehicles serviced and maintained at the Stanway, Colchester dealership for over 20 years. We have tried other dealerships but they don't come close to the service and care we receive at Colchester. Having relocated to Suffolk a few years ago, we still return to Colchester as I am confident they will always treat us and our vehicles with care and respect. We are on first name terms with some of the longer-serving staff, particularly members of the management team, which adds to the sense of reassurance and a feeling of being 'part of the furniture'. I always highly recommend the Colchester branch, including previously having the branch highlighted in the Mercedes Owners Club magazine. It is an easy decision to make when needing our vehicles serviced.

First class service. Phoned them on Monday at 9:00 with the engine management light glowing and the car was booked in and repaired within 24 hrs. They replaced the NOX sensors and although the car was 7 months out of the manufactures warranty, MB picked up the repair costs of circa £1100.

I do find the staff helpful, but on picking my car up today after it being with you for 5 days, I informed the receptionist I was here to hand back courtesy car & pick my own up, she informed services I was there quite promptly ( thank you to her) but after waiting well over a half hour seeing other clients turn up for there vehicles after me & seen before me one was getting quite narked about it. I informed the receptionist again made it know I wasn't happy then took her another few minutes to find out when i was being seen in which someone then promptly came to hand over my keys explain what they'd done (which took all of 1 minute.) I suggest on appointment times for picking up vehicles once ready by services, I just felt my paperwork just kept going to the bottom of the pile as other customers came in.......felt quite under valued as a Mercedes Benz Customer.

To be honest I am not a huge fan of car salesmen and the thought of changing the car fills me with dread as it inevitably never comes in on the budget you plan etc etc The process this time with Mercedes in Colchester was completely different...it was probably the easiest it has even been. There was no hard sell or pointless conversations about insurances etc that we didn't need. Our salesman (Russell) was honest with his opinion of the cars we were interested in, he was friendly, helpful and interested in us and our family. He was a real genuine guy. He even came in to do the car hand over when really he should have been at home with his new born. I did order a part the Mercedes bit of tin that goes by the passenger door, and unfortunately as with all dealers, you never stock anything. I live 15 or so miles and have to make a special trip to Merc,Colchester. Always I wonder why a part is not taken from a stock model which you can replace at your leisure ? This item is not worth more than £ 5, although I doth suppose that's the price !
