What a fantastic dealership. I was referred by a friend to contact the dealership to buy a Macan for my wifes birthday. We ordered the car in plenty of time and it arrived for her birthday. I've dealt with a few different Porsche Centres over the years and Colchester is probably one of the best. The experience is never bad - it is just different grades of good. As I was buying from almost 500 miles away it was a huge leap of faith to commit to a car without driving it or seeing in in the flesh before hand. My first drive was as I set off on the return journey to Scotland. During the purchase process Simon was very proactive and keep in regular touch, taking a great interest in how we would use the car. It's unfortunate I wasn't able to spend more time getting to know the car and the team at Colchester. And also that it is too far to travel to have the car serviced. But I would use them again, without hesitation.

I recently needed some parts for my 2001 Boxster. Lee in the parts department called me and checked the part numbers I had were all correct for my car. He arranged for one of the parts to be shipped from Germany and 3 days later the parts were ready to collect. Excellent service and I would recommend using Lee and Porsche Colchester for any parts you may need. The prices were also cheaper than elsewhere so try the dealer first.

The customer service here is excellent after moving from the centre in East London - where I also received a great service despite my car being ancient! I've always been treated with a great level of respect. They've always serviced and repaired my car in a timely manner - providing lovely courtesy cars - even for repairs! The senior service advisor - Craig, is a pleasure to work with and is always happy to work with you and go the extra mile. The coffee and biscuit selection offered on-site is lovely too!!

Very happy with my first service and the fitting of a towbar to my Macan. Initially thought the cost of the towbar was rather high but after seeing how well it was fitted and the amount of the cars systems it integrates with I feel is was a fair price. The service staff were very friendly and made the handover at each end very smooth. The team are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Porsche which is great. Please do keep your service team accessible not like Mercedes where they hide in an office and you have to get them out via the receptionist. I also like the fact that it’s possible to park easily at the dealership. Sounds obvious but at most dealers it’s hard to get parked.

Generally I have recieved only very good service but I was badly let down on one occasion. It's a long story but I was left standed at Stanstead airport in the middle of the night after your hire car partner didn't wait for a late flight arrival. (Other car hire desks were open!) After more than an hour of chasing around the airport with luggage, and numerous failed phone calls to find out what had happened, I had to pay £200 for a taxi and arrived home at 4am the next morning. Please ask if you want the full story.

I contacted the Colchester centre to see if they had it in stock and if it was possible to get it delivered before Christmas. Neil Laney really did go the extra mile for me. My insurance Co. insisted I take the car to National Windscreens in Ipswich to have a screen replacement. They fitted the screen but damaged the sensors and couldn't do the calibration/wheel alignment.
