There is a nice selection of quality used cars here, it's a shame that there's no bartering the price down which can be fun. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and DO NOT follow you around like a lost puppy, the staff are excellent here. I personally wish that the vehicles had the price displayed directly on the vehicles. Scanning the QR code on the windows with my phone just for my phone to open up a browser tab that displays the vehicle price and details is a bit of pain faff if you ask me. The CarStore is a nice place to visit...

Great experience today where I went from initial inquiry having found the ad on eBay. I arrived at 4pm but still managed a test drive, trade-in and left with the car the same day. The team especially James GM and Sean were very polite and considerate. The trade in value was better than the main dealer offer I received the day before. The car was clean, MOTd on the day and ready to be driven! Out with the old in with the new. Let's hope the longevity of the Nissan matches the positive experience. Would recommend 💯

Sean and the team arranged a viewing within half an hour of a phone call and the car was ready when I arrived. I was given plenty of time to look around the car on my own and Sean provided all of the information I needed. The paperwork was sorted without any hassle and it was made very straight forward. The car presales process was nice. The staff is courteous and do pick up calls, but getting something done is more difficult. The three month warranty was useful to cover a repair within the first three months of purchase. The store eventually paid for the repair, however the process was really long stretched and painful. The complementary three month warranty in itself is very basic, no breakdown , recovery or courtesy car, so beware. The communications between the store and its "head office" and my repair garage was really poor. It is not really expected of a national car dealer to take one week to approve a repair and later further two weeks to make payment for the repair. I still haven't received the replacement for the missing tyre inflation kit which I told about to both the sales and service person. At the end I just gave up asking for the kit. I don't think I would use them again.

I really wish all sales reps were like him!! He wasn’t pushy in even the slightest way and let me come down more than once to take my time with the car and know if it was right for me. Good service (when they want you money). Great amount of car's to pick from. Pinder was great at all the help he gave me. Changed for 5 star to 3. UPDATE: I have now waited almost 3 months for a dent to be removed from my drivers door, the damaged caused between me paying my deposit and collecting the car a week later. I have been told they would have it fixed. I ring them and they say they will ring back and so I wait. POOR SERVICE IN MY BOOK. I will update my post again after it is fixed.

We purchased a car from Car Store family group Evans Halshaw. Before the purchase was made we clarified with Car Store Coventry if our car plan that we purchased with them on our previous car, which we had only bought 6 months ago was transferble over to the new car as the care plan had not been used. The sales assistant in Evans Halshaw contacted Coventry Car Store and confirmed with the car sales manager that this was fine and all the relevant paperwork was completed and sent to Coventry Car Store. Few months later our car was due for a service and we contacted Coventry Car Store to get it booked it. To our surprise we were told that this is not possible and there's nothing they could do to help us or refund us the £299 we paid for care plan that was unused. The service on the phone was bad, dismissive and belligerent. No one was willing to look into it we were just simply told this is not possible. As a result we went into the store where we spoke to Ashley Hyde. We showed him the paperwork that was emailed to us when we purchased the care plan, which clearly states that the care plan can to transferred to any care as long as purchased from car store or within the car store family. Ashley went above and beyond to help us and finally managed to get the issue sorted. The money was refunded and we can re-purchase new care plan for our car. If it wasn't for Ashley's excellent customer service skills and taking his time to look into why the system would not except the change, we would have had to take the complaint further. Ashley spent over couple hours on two occasions to get the matter resolved. Car Store should be extremely grateful for his customer service skills as no one else we spoke to was willing to even look into the request. Thank you Ashley.

Brought a vehicle from the Norwich store within a few weeks of purchasing I had issues come up on the dash, got in touch and they sent me to the Coventry store. Spoke with their service advisor ash who booked me in for their first appt available on my way to the appt my clutch burnt out.. advised them of this on arrival and they were able to diagnose and order parts the same day even with a few hiccups from the Norwich store. The head of site Chris was very helpful and Ash did everything in his power to make sure I was dealt with quickly and efficiently my car was fixed within 5 days 2 of which you can’t count as the workshop was closed! I was even given a courtesy car so I could get around! Definitely recommend! Thank you Ash and Chris!

Great experience buying our new car, really smart and clean show room with good aircon for a very hot day of purchase! Kiani was great and not at all pushy, seemed he just wanted us to get the right deal for us! Dropped one star as we felt the car was advertised as having a navigation system and clearly shows this in photos and description of the ‘8” navigation screen’ , however we had to purchase and install an SD card to make that work (okay for us as a fairly tech savvy couple but wouldn’t think everyone would find that straightforward). We were aware at time of purchase that we would have to do this ourselves but felt the ad was misleading and could have clearly stated this. We have also had to chase to get paintwork touch ups sorted. Two small things that stopped us given 5 stars, but great overall experience!

We needed a new car after ours was written off in a smash that wasn’t our fault. It had been a stressful couple of weeks dealing with the fall out, admin and injuries so we were really happy to find our dream car when we were in a position to buy and were hoping it wouldn’t be a palava. Mas was so helpful, didn’t rush us, sorted out all the paperwork and finance without fuss, and didn’t bamboozle us or do a hard sale on any extras. We took the one extra we wanted and bought the car the same day as viewing. It was exactly as advertised, in lovely condition and had been valeted thoroughly. There was a delay in the finance company releasing the funds to CarStore so we had to come back the next day to collect the car, but in the scheme of things, it’s no big deal. Thank you Mas and team for getting us back on the road after a stressful couple of weeks.

No hard sell - No telling you that every car you show an interest in, is ‘the best car ever’ - No having to haggle over price – No quibbling over the part ex price. Braught a car from this place recently, had a good experience , the salesmen let you approach them and the car was reasonably priced. After a few weeks of owning the car , I found a couple of problems , but the sales manager got it in the prep centre and got these issues sorted. Only reason for 4 of 5 stars is there should have been no problems with the car, they provided an invoice for proof of rectification if said faults on the car, but didn’t write it in the service book and stamp it dispite leaving it on passenger seat, and the salesman was a little pushy with offering extended warranty on the car. Great experience otherwise.

Johirul was great he let us go for test drive on our own. He did not push us into the car I had a couple of problems which got sorted one being a key that did not work. Someone was sent to the house and made me a new key. Johirul was good he knew about the car which was good you go other places ask a basic question and the salesman could not answer. The only thing is I said no to the after sales service car coating etc then the manager comes and tries again to sell it to you. That was a bit annoying. Upon entering the store, I was on a limited timeframe due to being on my lunch break. I had very, very detailed financial questions to have answered in a very, very short timeframe. Pentelis who works at The Car Store Coventry took his time to articulate everything with confidence and poise. His attention to detail coupled with utilising technologies to share information on products and services is a testament to how he has gone over and beyond. He has proved and shown that he will positively strive to share the products available and has acted as a bridge of product information to myself as the end user. As I was on my lunch break, I left my ideal specification and within the space of a week he managed to hit all my requirements. From my observation of this process Pantelis has had a ‘no set-back’ attitude from start to completion he has done all he can get paper work across the finishing line. My purchase was made via The Car Store Coventry because when I went into the BMW main dealership in Bedfordshire, I was not welcomed with the same level of respect, and politeness as I received at The Car Store. 3 weeks later I am still waiting to hear back from the other company. I told him he should sell diamonds in Mayfair!! I write this review because I believe the level of service, product knowledge and company knowledge should not go unnoticed. How likely am I to recommend to family and friends? Highly! My friend who was with me is coming back after she is ready to change her new Volkswagen.
