I had planned to trade my caravan in, but wasn't terribly impressed with the value being offered. I described the caravan as accurately as I could and Bob from The Caravan Buyers gave me a better offer over the phone. Bob confirmed the evening before collection, and arrived at the time promised. He was engaging and polite. Bob found a tiny area of damp. As the caravan was otherwise perfect he was still prepared to take it, we made a price adjustment to allow for its repair. The money was in our bank instantly and Bob was on his way. Even after the price adjustment, I received more than the dealer was offering (and the dealer would have wanted an adjustment too, I'm sure). In summary - if you're selling, give them a ring. I'm pleased I did. (No connection to the company except being a happy customer).

Found Caravanbuyers during a google search, the reviews were all excellent to the point that my wife thought they must have been written by the company. However, having rung them and spoken to Bob it was clear that the reviews were fairly accurate. An offer price was given for our caravan during the first telephone conversation which was accepted and arrangements were made for it to be collected. this was complicated due to the van being stored in France. Once the van was back in the UK a quick call was made and two days later Bob came to inspect the van. having tested it for damp and condition the full offer price was paid direct into our bank account in minutes. the whole process was quick and the attitude of Bob was helpful and customer service was excellent. The price paid was not only fair but better than the offer by the company we brought the van from. I would recommend this company to anyone.

After spending 32 years on a lovely site in Derbyshire my wife and myself finally called it a day. Having experianced selling and buying about 7 caravans (all tourers) with some trepidation over this period I can honestly say our final caravan fairwell was conducted in a highly professional and pleasant manner by a young salesman by the name of Bob. Nothing was to much trouble for him, he did a thorough damp search etc but in no respect did I feel that he was attempting to downplay the vans condition prior to his offer to purchase. I asked for a sum that I would be happy with after doing some pricing research on the web. I was pleasantly surprised that Bob never quibbled or attempted to try the usual ploys but handed over the cash payment commenting it wasnt necessary for me to take down the awning etc as he would be happy to do these tasks on collection. Well done Bob you certainly made an old man happy at the end of my wife and families caravanning era.
