I just bought my `new` 2nd hand car from this company yesterday. I`d chosen it a couple of days beforehand and throughout looking, test driving, the purchasing, and getting familiar with my new car`s controls I found Julie to be extremely professional, efficient, thorough - but also very willing and approachable. She double checked everything with me to ensure I was happy. Also her length of experience and knowledge is admirable. Perfect combination of professionalism and approachability. And on top of all that her `insistence` that I not hesitate to call her if I have any queries.

Recently purchased a nice Audi A3 from excel motors, on arrival at the sales office met the owner Julie who was very pleasant showed me around the vehicle an left me alone to look round the vehicle no pushy sale, so after awhile I decided to purchase the vehicle, very happy with the service I received they wouldn't let the car go till it was absolutely spot on, they even put on a brand new ERG valve on which was must needed, the entire experience was a delight, would recommend them, cheers Steve

After 2 hours of looking at several different cars, going over everything with us , making sure we was happy and liasing with finance and insurance on our behalf we was very happy and knew we wasn't beeing fobbed off. I am so pleased with the service I got from Julie at Excel Motors. Went on Tuesday to look at a car. Was left to have a good look around it. Price had also been reduced. Was so impressed that I bought it there and then. It was serviced and checked before I got it. Cambelt changed at cost price and tyres replaced free of charge. I recently bought a Peugeot 206 from Excel Motors in Derby and recommend them very highly. As a family company they work well together and the place was free from any chauvinistic attitudes, unlike the prior dealerships I visited who did not seem in the least bothered. This was my first experience buying a car and Raph and Julie made the whole process very easy and reassuring. There was never any pressure to buy and they gave me plenty of space and time to look the car over. After having undergone a service, MOT the car was handed over to me on time and in good condition.

Purchased a Jag S type in Aug '17,think it was a trade-in,hence the cheap price.The car is still going strong but I have had to spend a bit on it as you would expect with a nineteen year old jag.Rad was a bit iffy with poor flow so I changed that and it cured the cooling problems.A rear lower ball joint was also changed (common S type wear and tear) and a new cat fitted due to high emissions.Also changed the windscreen wiper unit which cost twenty quid from a breakers yard.Bit cheaper than the £350 plus VAT from Jaguar plus fitting! Will keep the car till the body starts to go as its a really good drive.
