My overall experience at Lexus Derby was amazing. I came all the way from London to buy my car and it was definitely worth it. The car was impeccable as described and advertised. Elly has taken such good care of me and kept the process so simple and smooth. This is how cars shopping should be, care & stress free.

The service and the attitude of the service team were superb. The IT surrounding the booking was less so. I had a service plan but was asked by email if I wanted one, I had booked the MOT and service but was reminded that I needed to book it. That experience was unnerving, as I started to wonder if the service plan had expired, or if something had gone wrong with the booking. It was so unlike Toyota to have processes that seemed to be at odds with each other

Also service advisor honest about pricing mistake made over replacement parts, took full responsibility and didn't try to blame system, priced matched with other lexus dealership so discounted to my advantage. Was intending to look and purchase large Toyota SUV, totally ignored by staff, possibly not dressed correctly for them. Having had a trouble free Lexus for a long time we visited Derby Lexus to look at purchasing another car, from start to finish of buying a car from the dealership it was second to none, we purchased a IS 300h... Benjamin, Lee and William are the most transparent, welcoming, nothing to much trouble people you'll ever meet, the car came with a full service and new mot and warranty, William also sorted out my 3 year service, warranty and mot plan that was bolted onto the year that was given to me, meaning 4 year's of basically just putting petrol in the hybrid car... Courtesy phone calls before and after having the new vehicle was a nice touch, they really do make you feel like your part of there family Karen on reception and Chloe on the service desk where very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone was very helpful and curtious while I did emails and drank coffee while the service took place. Car was returned washed and cleaned inside and out with a complete history of what was done and checked during the service. They even blacked up the tyres so that it looked showroom ready. Just bought a 20 Plate Lexus UX 250 h hybrid from Lexus Derby and just love the car and love the service. I am always wary about going to a car dealership due to the in the face sales people, but not at Lexus Derby. The Sales Specialist Elly who sold me the car was amazing and a credit to the Company. From the moment she came to see if she could help, that is what she did, she did not pressure me into buying the car, but was always available to help if I needed making me feel at ease throughout the process. She also knew what she was talking about. When purchased, she arranged for the Manager to come and chat to me, which was also a nice touch. All other staff at the Dealership I encountered were helpful as well. This is the first Lexus car I have bought as I have been loyal to other makes but if I ever buy another car then I know where to go. I recommend anyone who is looking to buy a car to look at Lexus. I have had my car serviced by Lexus Derby recently. I purchased it new and thit was its first service. I found Lexus in Derby extremely polite and immediately welcoming on arrival. As service was busy on my arrival I was asked to wait. Whilst waiting I was served with coffee & biscuits. When service was free I was welcomed by a young lady who had all my details to hand. After checking things were correct I was shown to my service loan car. On collection of my own car a few hours later the young lady explained everything that they had done to the car in detail. The price quoted was as I had been told from the outset. I find Lexus Derby a pleasure to deal with and have no complaints with their services. Recently a small door stop part fell off and vanished. I contacted the parts dept. Who not only sourced the part but even delivered it to my home later the same day. (All for the princely sum of £3.50 including the spare!). I would recommend this garage to anyone looking for a new car as the sales department are as good as the service department.

Initially greeted by Alex on reception, who I must say was very professional, polite, very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and has a passion for customer service - a credit to his industry and Lexus Derby. Tony Tucker was our guide for the afternoon and spent a great deal of time allowing us to view our chosen car, answer technical questions and mull over the pro's and con's of options available to us. A shame Lexus Derby isn't close to us. It was a pleasure visiting the dealer. No pressure to complete a sale. On dropping our car off there was a slight delay so we were offered coffee and boy was it nice our courtesy duly arrived we were given a tour and off we then went. Over the course of the day we kept informed of progress and because we made them aware of my health conditions we were able to collect our car earlier than expected. All in all. Customer service has declined & rude. They service my car last year. They damaged my screen washer system, they missed the fact that the MOT had expired. I paid £815.63 to Lexus Derby plus £70 call out because my screen washers had to be fixed at the roadside (I was 100 miles away from Derby). They have missed sending me a reminder that my service is due. UPDATE 25 May 2019. After my report, Lexus Derby did their best to make amends, they did it very well. I have just had my car serviced (for this year) with them. All went well with the customer service and the loan car that they let me use was great.

However, my opinion of Lexus Derby has been enhanced as I have just completed buying a new CT200h F Sport model. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience from the day that Andrew Hardy thoroughly explained to me my full options and we sat together to make sure that I was buying a car that suited my needs without breaking the bank. I have always received the most courteous reception at Lexus Derby and cannot praise the whole team highly enough. Like most Lexus dealerships the customer service is usually second to none. However, the real test comes when something goes wrong. Having fitted a very expensive Lexus shock absorber less than 20k miles ago that very part has failed again. Lexus Derby and Lexus UK are not interested as it has been on the car for more than a year despite the expected life of the part to be 50k miles plus. Having been a Lexus customer for ten years I have to say I am disappointed.
