I bought the 7 Series mentioned in the lower review. All in all I'm more than happy with it. I spent 5 years looking for the right 7 series with the engine, colour and spec I wanted so I was well reaserched into it. I wasn't blinkered enough into believing that a 10 year old car would look like it had rolled out of the showroom. I made a couple of phonecalls before making the journey from Aberdeen to view the car. And in all fairness, it was excactly as described. I did all my checks on the car before even making contact, I knew it was an import, I knew "finance" that was mentioned in the review below, was the holding finance that a lot of small company's use with cars on their forecourts,I knew the MOT advisories were "undershield covers fitted preventing full inspection" that plenty of modern cars get at MOT time. I knew what common problems to look out for and knew it was priced well enough to cover any big money common problems and stay within budget (valve stem seals,mechatronic switch pack, fluid transfer pipe etc) and these things are renowned for being hormonal machines It went in for its MOT and service last week at a local, well known BMW specialist and only failed on the windscreen (which got cracked 3 days before it was due to be dropped off but it takes 3 weeks to get the car in there so I just sent it in and organised replacement for while it was in), and the handbrake efficiency too low, it's an Automatic so I never use the handbrake......lesson learned! Overall I'm more than happy with the service I received from the boy I dealt with (can't remember your name sorry) and I didn't have a wasted 850 mile round trip to look at a car that wasn't as advertised. And believe me I've had plenty of wasted trips looking at these cars! It's was a 1 owner, FSH, low mileage car that apart from being put through car washes all its life, has been well looked after. All it takes is for some buyers to expect to be spoon fed and expect a used car to be showroom fresh and it will give places like this a bad rep. Go there with realistic expectations, fully reaserch what your looking at, look through the salesman patter and buy with your head and not your heart and you you'll be fine! More than happy with my experience with MK motors, and when it comes to buying my next car, if they've got the car I want, I won't hesitate to try there first.

This is my business account but it's Brett, just bought the BMW 335d, that car is brilliant, on the drive back today it is everything I expected it to be, but in terms of MK Motors Derby would not hesitate buying a car from you guys again! Pleasure to deal with, happy to negotiate if the car needs anything before driving away, happy to take the time to test drive and talk about the car, the finance or anything even just have a conversation felt at ease at all times no pressure. Very surprised this car didn't sell in 5minutes of you guys having it, it's been a lovely drive back home along the back roads and I know many more miles of joy!! I'm off to go clean it now I got sprayed all the way back by puddles from highways agency trucks! Thanks again!
