Well, what can I say! I first contacted NK Motors regarding a Porsche Macan I saw on their website. From the first contact to the day I drive out in my new car I received nothing short of professional excellent service..... my initial contact was with Josh who was very professional and even contacted me to confirm something during his day off with his family. On the day of collection I met Auran. I was part exchanging my car so was there for a little while doing paperwork. I was made to feel safe and comfortable (Covid measures are second to none) being offered a coffee and a comfy chair.. Auran was very professional and extremely friendly. I really wouldn’t like to circle any of the above, eventually had to contact the CEO. Not sure if it helped but got the car back in just a week after being in the repair shop 8 weeks . NK motors were polite but not sure if they could tell me much about the fault and that NK said it might take months to repair . I’m really putting my trust in NK as the fault was listed on Kia owners club as ‘fatal floor’ . NK motors Derby I think done all they could to help me in the circumstances especially the Courtesy car (all electric) which gave me an insight to them. Altogether I’ve had 2 of the same car. Excellent quality and I’m looking forward to keeping this one longer than I usually do .

Decided on the spur of the moment to pop in and take a look at a Kia Rio as a first car for my son following a recommendation from a friend. I recently purchased a two year old car from this dealership at a distance without a test drive due to lockdown rules. I am very particular and asked for a detailed video on its condition before deciding to go ahead. Josh's approach gave me the confidence to buy and I'm very pleased I did. A modification, unknown to the dealership, arose with the car after collection which came as a big disappointment. Almost immediately, I was contacted by Simon, Group Dealer Principle, who took swift and personal responsibility to resolve the issue in full to my complete satisfaction. Got a great deal on an electric Niro. The green plates I asked for hadn't been fitted but ten minutes saw that sorted out when I went to collect it. It took a further couple of days to get the latest software installed and the last user's Uvo account removed so I could remote access the car. Later I found the tyre compressor was missing from the boot but that was replaced when I pointed it out. Finally, the front tyres are at 2mm. I wanted to put all season tyres on so no great issue for me but it's a good job I checked them However, great car, friendly enough staff but things should be correct on delivery.

The team were all very welcoming, attentive and approachable, and while we were only purchasing the cheapest model in their range, they still gave us the same service we would have expected if we were buying the top of the range model, which is not the case in many dealerships. We were offered an immediate test drive with no problems or awkward questions, and given plenty of time to drive the car and look over it back at the showroom. I first visited NK Derby in 2005 after I saw a Kia Sorento advertised. I have to say I have previously had a distrust and to a point, a dislike of car sales staff. Too many examples of being given a ridiculously low part exchange price and being expected to pay top money for the car you want to buy. Being told that the car you are buying is the most popular model and then when you want to trade it in it is the model that nobody wants. So you can see I maybe had pre-conceived ideas. I met Auran SHARMA at NK and my first impression was a really sound likeable bloke - must be too good to be true. Surprise surprise it wasn’t. I got a fantastic offer on the part exchange and also on the used Sorento. That was in 2005. Since then I have been back to NK on many occasions and now know most of the team there including Sanj and get treated almost like one of the family. Since the first Sorento I have purchased a new old shape Sportage which I thought was under powered so traded that in for another Sorento. I have also had a new shape Sportage and last year bought a new Pro Ceed GT for my wife. As well as the Kia brand I have also purchased two non Kia cars for my son. So 5 Kia’s and 2 other brands in 10 years must say something for the satisfaction I get from this dealer and in particular Auran. One final point and a real plus is that last year (2015) I received an email out of the blue informing me that I had been identified as one of the top UK Kia customers and was invited with my wife for a 5 day all expenses trip to Seoul, South Korea.
