Entered the showroom and a lovely lady called Lauren greeted me, was really polite and friendly! Dealt with Lewis Marshall, he was very friendly and helpful. The way they do things are very backwards though. Spent around 2 hours on a team's call going over every single little thing, agreed on any extras that I was having, even came back to me with a monthly amount for the finance. The next day, I get a call to say that the finance company wouldn't accept me because I had slightly too much negative equity. I was surprised this was the only company that accepted me?? Just seemed a bit like a brush off, I've had a few cars on finance from Eddie Wrights/Stoneacre and I've always felt as though I was a priority and I've always left there with a deal. I feel like the company could just try a bit harder to get it done, rather than giving false hope in the first instance.

Without a doubt the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. Tom, Hannah and the rest of the team delivered a text book service to me and my wife. Customer service to most companies is just a "buzz phrase" something to keep the punters happy. You never experience customer service until you hit a problem. When the car I purchased turned out to be a problem, I was bowled over by the actions of EH. They went out of there way to make sure I was mobile, happy and kept informed every step of the way. There wasn't one hint of "rolling eyes" or "here we go again" just great attention to keeping the customer happy and making us feel like they were on our side. I ended up rejecting this car for very good reasons, and again I was made to feel comfortable with that decision. My wife and I both agreed that we would still buy from EH Doncaster and the help was again impeccable. We got a car we were happy with at a very good price and we went away feeling good about the whole experience. Great place to buy a new or used car, excellent customer care and sales. We dealt with the same salesman all the way through, and from a couple of minor teething problems which was to be expected when purchasing a new car during lockdown and a global pandemic to having some repairs done to finally being able to have a new car for our expanding family I can't fault any of the service, enquired, bought and recieved delivery of the car within 24 hours, and that was a Sunday on the salesmans day off, car was picked up on the Thursday night for some repairs to the body work, fixed and dropped back off the next day. We even recieved a brand new courtesy car whilst ours was in for repair. The salesman even came to our house in Leeds twice with the car so we didn't have to do anything, or go anywhere. Big thank you to Gurteak and Evans Halshaw. Keep safe and keep doing what your doing! 😁

I have just returned from buying a car from Evans Halshaw - Nissan in Doncaster and felt I just had to write a review on the first class service I received there. The salesperson who helped with the purchase was called Leo. Nothing was too much trouble all the way through the buying process and believe me I can be hard work. I had seen the car online and requested it was brought to Doncaster from Peterborough. I then arranged to call in to view it and was introduced to Leo. We went on a test drive and he was extremely knowledgeable and courteous throughout. I did not feel under any pressure to buy the car even though it had been brought up to Doncaster for me. I decided to buy the car and returned another day where I met Leo again. With all the paperwork done he then explained some of the more technical aspects of the car that I needed help with. The dealership itself was bright and airy with a free coffee machine in reception which was great as I was there for a couple of hours on both occasions. Very helpful and caring when you buy the car but the after sales is shocking was told when I bought the car to pick up at 11am was told on the day it was 3pm never replied to any e-mails I sent the week building up to it to prove I insured the car. So once you buy the car they really couldn't care less about the customer its a shame really.

I ran over a traffic cone on the 1st day of our holiday, we actually we travelling to our destination so hadn't even got there. The traffic cone went up inside the engine bay and broke a hydraulic pipe to the auto gearbox so we lost all drive. Got recovered by a local recovery (who weren't that good) but we asked them to take us to this Nissan dealer as that was where we were going on holiday. SOOOOOOO glad we did. We arrived at 5.45pm and were greeted by Trevor in the service department, who put the car on the ramp straight away and diagnosed the problem to be a small rubber pipe, as we were getting worried it could be a major problem as the recovery thought it might of cracked the gearbox housing. Trevor informed us that it couldn't actually be fixed until the next day but rang us a taxi (on his own mobile) and gave us some suggestions to good hotels. By this time it was 6.30pm I asked what time he should of finished work and he said 'that's not a problem. but it should of been 6pm' At 10.30am the next day her rung me and said it was all fixed with a bill that was just under £90 Bless his heart he bent over backwards for us as we were stranded and really went the extra mile. If we didn't live so far away we would come here to buy our next Nissan as the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thankyou so much Trevor it's nice to know there are still friendly and helpful people out there

*edit* once theyve sold you stuff, theyre not bothered about follow up. I accidentally left a cd in my car i sold and they said theyd post it to me and it never happened. After 2 weeks i chased it and was told that it had gone to auction with it in. Bit of a let down especially since the service at the time was amazing If i could give more than 5 stars I would! Lewis was very helpful from the moment I enquired about the car to the final signings of the paperwork. He kept the mood lighthearted and friendly, answered all my questions and made me comfortable throughout. None of this pushy hard sale comments! Which is truly a refreshing change when looking at cars. I now have my dream car and can drive away happy. Would definitely recommend 100%.
