These guys have been brilliant over the years for us. We bought an Audi Cabriolet back in October 2017 but made the mistake of buying 2 further cars elsewhere. Will be buying our cars from Chris in future. Made the right choice however on maintenance, servicing and MOT's! Speak to Les in Service. Always Great Service!!

The car I bought was my bucket list car having recently been diagnosed with cancer I thought why not. The car a VW golf convertible even though secondhand flicked my switch. Unfortunately the car broke down twice. The initial repair was done under warranty and done with no qualms at all from the show room. With a run around car to keep me with transport. On the way home the same fault occurred but this time with irreversible damage to the engine. Once the car had been collected. Again with no argument it was repaired again with a new reconditioned engine. Again under warranty. The car was delivered to my home by the showroom staff. Now no one can check for a faulty fuel injection unit when you take the car into stock. So no blame at all on the staff. The only criticism I have is the lack of communication from the shop but then maybe I’m too keen to know how things are ( or impatient lol ) The owner contacted me to tell me what he is doing but only after I had chased up any news about the car. He offered 1 year warranty on the engine plus after I asked a 6 month warranty on the car not 3. The staff. Les, Chris and everyone else where polite and helpful. Having had a few motor vehicle’s I appreciate that they do break down. The car now runs super smooth and with a oil change after 1000 miles again free I am not disappointed in the choice I made. Would I buy from them again. Yes. But only if they where closer.

Very pleasant experience purchasing a lovely Golf GTD this morning, which appears to be exactly as described. Darren and Chris were both very professional and just seem like good guys. Such a pity things went down hill.....I am probably just unlucky....4 days out of warranty the car has been in a garage 3 times with emission faults and today its booked to go again...must be a vw problem and not F Cross & Son, I was offered extended warranty but refused.🙄..maybe they will take it back I've only done a few miles in 4 months 😉..joking...

Recently Purchased a car from here and was very happy with the service. Lovely showroom and all of the cars are in amazing condition. You could tell they pride themselves on honesty selling genuinely good motors. Even the after service has been great with a few questions or queries I have had. Spotted a fantastic Honda Civic on Autotrader, had a car to part exchange filled in some details and received a call from Nigel from F Cross & Sons. Nigel went through the process of the part exchange, deposit paid and then we planned our drive from North Wales to Doncaster to collect. On arriving we were met by Chris who went through the whole process and completed all the relevant forms including the tax and taking ownership of our part exchange and all the warranty information. They're always friendly, reliable and honest and don't try to add extra little jobs that don't need doing like some other garages do. The guys in sales are great too and don't try to push you into making decisions on the spot, there's no pressure. Overall, the service is second to none and there's no gimmicks. Spent 5 hours one Wednesday in April travelling up to F Cross to collect a 2009 Cayenne 4.8 V8. Well worth it. The car was easily as described and has been completely reliable these past six months. Reason for this review is that I've just got off the phone with Les who heads Aftersales. I needed a bit of servicing info and, despite my purchase being so long ago, he got me the info straight away. I'd like to balance the review with a bit of negative / something to improve, but I can't think of anything.

Bought a £15k BMW 320i 8 months ago I would recommend Darren, nice bloke, honest and straight to the point. Love the Car, however had a sensor problem 6 days after purchase. I was very happy with how F Cross dealt with the problem. Darren dropped a courtesy car to me in Birmingham and took my car back up to Doncaster for repairs, no problems since. This would of been a solid 4/5 star review, however the attitude of one bloke there left me rather disappointed. I drove up to complete the purchase, however Darren was on his holidays so I had to deal with his colleague (Can't remember his name but his desk is next to Darrens) When I asked is there enough petrol to get me back to Birmingham, this guy said "did you agree that at point of purchase?" I said "no" and he replied "well we're not a petrol station" which p***** me off considering I had to get back to Birmingham at rush hour times! And there was about 20 miles worth of petrol in the tank! Other than that is was a good car buying experience and I would recommend. They don't like you paying on card, they prefer cash or a bank transfer.

Bought a beautiful SLK from there which unfortunately developed an electronic display and navigation unit problem. Chris, Andy and Les took control as Mercedes were dragging their heels and sorted everything out for us. Even gave us the use of a very nice Mondeo estate while ours was unavailable. Much better personal service with satisfaction guaranteed than using a big dealership that doesnt care less about after sales. And we had another superb cup of tea while we waited to collect it.
