I bought a transit custom from Mark at northside and I am very pleased with the sale. It was my first long distance purchase (150 miles away) and it couldn't of gone any better! Matthew sent me pictures and details of the van and it arrived as described (immaculate) even arranging the finance via email was simple. I've driven the van for a week and it is spot on. Great selection of commercial vehicles I bought a navara from these guys very fairly priced as the condition reflected it. Good friendly staff who went out of there way to ensure my long distance purchase was arranged and all the paperwork was in place before I got there. Great service from this company no pressure sales or asking for a deposit like some do was kept up to date with fitting , tow bar fitting and even valeting .Caroline who runs the used Van's sales is excellent .If your after a vehicle and dont want to be pressured this is the place

I took the gamble of putting a deposit down on one of Northsides vans. It was a gamble as I was coming all the way from Bolton without seeing it! So I read a lot of reviews but this is my first Google review but felt I needed to post this to help people make sense of the reviews that are already posted, this is my experience and apologies as it is a long one. Been looking for a Ranger for months, but as I was buying it personally and not through my business I wanted one with no V.A.T. never knew this place existed, even though I live 20 miles from it (more internet presence and S.E.O. required) just happened to drive past one night and saw just what I was looking for but with no price on it (it had only just come in the day before). Called on the Monday and spoke to a lady who said she was just manning the phone as the sales people were out but she gave me all the information I needed apart from the price, took my number and some one would call me back. An hour later David rang me and we sorted the price out and told him would come and look at the weekend. Found myself free on the Friday so called and said be there in half an hour. Arrived to find David's son cleaning it like mad! Was greeted by David with a handshake and the offer of a cuppa, he handed me the keys and said have a good look round it while he sorted out a test drive. Was not bothered about driving it as have driven several of them over the months so he left me and my partner to look round it with the keys and said he would be in the office if we needed him.After 10 minutes decided it was the vehicle for us so popped into the office to check the documents, all as described so we bought it. So in the conversation I asked who Dennis was, having read the reviews, to be met with a pained expression and an explanation that he was someone who used to work there but cost them a lot of money so shall we say he 'left'. That explained the chalk and cheese reviews, if you dealt with David, all good, if you dealt with Dennis, oh dear! Over the months we had been looking at Rangers we had dealt with so many sales 'cocks' it was refreshing to deal with someone normal and not full of c**p and up their own rear. I would deal with these again and I love my Wildtrak, would never go back to a car, thanks David.
