I would like to thank Chris Fletcher for helping me purchase my S90. I purchased from Riverside Volvo remotely and they delivered by car within a week. Chris was incredibly helpful and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. He was in regular contact throughout and even sent a video of my car pre-delivery which was a nice touch! The car was delivered within a week and was in fantastic condition, the delivery driver was friendly and showed me my new car. My husband and I just popped in to Riverside Motors & the Land Rover centre next door, to take a quick look at used SUVs (on our way to the supermarket!) I particularly wanted to look at an XC40, as I needed something to get me to Cornwall (from Yorkshire) safely and comfortably, four to five times a year. We picked out a couple of XC40s we liked, but I wasn’t sure about the different specs. Along came Tom Thurston, a helpful young sales executive, to our rescue. On chatting to Tom, we narrowed the car down to a First Edition T5. We took the car out for a test drive and both hubby and I loved it straight away. Having had a Volvo Estate some 30+ years previously, I knew they were great cars but could look a bit “old mannish” inside. How wrong I was. This car had every gizmo you could want and in my opinion, had finally managed to ditch its “old fashioned” interiors reputation. Back to Tom and Riverside Motors. Tom is such a friendly and genuine young man. No overly sales techniques, no BS. I asked him a million questions and his knowledge of the product he was selling was faultless. (Even though he said he’d only been there since April.) Then there’s the coffee machine at Riverside Motors 🤣🤣 THE best coffee!! All in all, we had a great experience at Riverside Motors and we are extremely happy with our new(ish) car. So if you are considering a Volvo, I can highly recommend Riverside Motors - and in particular Tom Thurston - for an honest, knowledgeable and friendly customer experience. Oh…. I was pleased with Riverside Volvo Doncaster and would recommend them because the BMW I purchased was very fairly priced for the age / specification and mileage, the sales process was relaxed and I was very happy with the service. One thing I wasn't overly pleased with was the interior of the vehicle hadn't been valeted (I have since taken it to be detailed professionally and the brake pads were changed however they hadn't put the clips in correctly or reset the service indicator warning for the brakes on the idrive. Thankfully my best friend is a mechanic so he rectified those issues for me.

He quickly understood what I was looking for and put a very competitive quote out to me. She worked efficiently to get me approved on finance and also to locate me a choice of colours for delivery within 3 weeks, as I needed the car quickly. If you like Volvo cars ( and I've bought 7 from this dealership) Riverside is excellent. The staff are long serving not only in the sales but also in the service dept. They get to know you personally & you them. All my cars have been bought with the same sales exec. Free, unlimited hot drinks and biscuits while you are waiting if you stay, newspapers etc in a comfortable area. Toilets immaculate. The only problem I would mention is parking spaces can on occasion be tricky to find as the site is very busy. I would highly recommend Riverside where nothing is too much trouble.

I cannot say enough great things about this place, i have had a few issues with my car since i bought it from VOLVO WEST LONDON while i would not go there again, the level of service i have received from Riverside is above first rate. They have in resent times lost two very good members of staff from thr service front desk, and i have to say that the new members of staff are as attentive to customer service as their old numbers. Two members of staff who will only help the company go in the same positive direction. I cannot say a bad word about any of the staff, and while i did not buy my current Volvo from Riverside, it was not for the lack of searching by Pat. This is one of many names who give 110% to the company. And not to forget any othet members from service techs to the lady who drives you from showroom to home. I did not want to leave anyone out, the advice from the parts Dept has also saved me money in the past. And the Service Manager and his number two hold it all together and times when things dont always seem to want to go where they should. The only person whom i havent mentioned is the dealer principal. But then hes got so many greag staff around him hes ok. Keep up the great work Riverside Volvo of Doncaster. Regards Mr Peace.
