Stuart King went above and beyond for us! My family have been buying cars from Specialist for years, so I travelled from Edinburgh to Dunfermline to Specialist and I'm so glad I did. Stuart listened to what my needs were (motorway driving, city parking, budget etc) and found me the perfect car within a week. He was quick to answer all of the questions that I had and I really appreciated the personalised videos of the car that he sent me. I have been really well looked after from the first time I stepped in the door, to a week after buying my new car. It was also very easy with all the forms/payment being online, so on the day there was no stress at all. Serious car buyers ignore the professional moaners I am 53 years old and have lost count of the new cars I have ordered . l have never recieved such excellent service from a car dealership before, extreamly attentative and dealt with everything from my initial enquiry to delivery at my home address . Having researched the car and options i required i visited a number of VW dealers including Specialist Cars where i was greeted by Jason Cowan. Jason arranged my test drive and then arranged for me to take the test car for the rest of the afternoon, the only dealer to offer this. Specialist Cars then offered me the best deal, from there Jason kept me informed of progress and did his best to ensure that I could collect the car at the earliest opportunity. Definitely one of my better car buying experiences.

My Golf R developed a fault on 2/1, on ringing Specialist Cars on Tuesday 3/1, despite a skeleton staff, they were happy to take it in. The fault was fixed on Thursday having first to obtain a part. I was kept fully informed, (thanks Cheryl), picked up from station, and had a full discussion with the mechanic who reassured me it was a one off unusual incident. I was also re-imbursed for out of pocket recovery expenses by Volkswagen given the closest VW dealer was not open, although I actually did want it to come to Dunfermline as they were my supplying dealer. Have now leased five Polo's from here in the last few years and never really had a problem till now, through ill health we have to give one car up early by just a few months, don't owe anything on car, but getting told we will need to pay excess mileage, when sitting with chap we set millage for twelve thousand or so we thought and now getting told it was only 6,000 ? When we do over 200 a month plus family down south why would we set it so low, absolutely fuming and last time we will ever deal with them again
