I seen my now car on the website and went up to take a look . I met Richie he was so down to earth not pushy at all like some sales men . I knew instantly he was very genuine and also wanted to be as helpful as he could be . I purchased the car and I never had to do a thing from there all taxed and sorted and immaculate when I went to collect . I would give this company 6 stars if I could. I purchased a beautiful BMW 430D M Sport Convertible in Estoril blue from them which I have been thoroughly enjoying in the sun for the past 2 weeks! First off I'll fully admit to being quite an awkward buyer but Allan accommodated every single one of my requests. Before buying the vehicle I wanted an Independent Pre Purchase inspection carried out at a local BMW franchise dealership. Allan was fine with this and even took the car over there for this to be carried out. The technician at BMW told me the car was in “excellent condition” and just recommended the front discs and pads be replaced... Allan and A690 did this at no cost to me. I also spent an entire weekend p**sing about with various different finance companies trying to find the best deal, Allan was extremely patient with me throughout this. I drove up from Norfolk to Durham (5hr drive) to pick the car up and was greeted with refreshments, a tour of how everything worked in the car, an envelope of documentation including full service history and £30 petrol to get me on my way. V5c turned up last week as well with everything correct. There are a lot of bad car dealers out there but I would highly recommend A690 Specialist Cars for piece of mind that you're going to be treated well. And if I'm ever in the market for a Range Rover in the future I'd definitely be willing to make another 10 hour round trip to buy one from them!

I bought an Audi TT here about 12 months ago. I was supposed to be looking not buying but took the car for a test drive and loved it. There was no pressure from Ritchie just details about the car price package etc. He was quite happy for me to go home and have a think. A couple of weeks after getting the car fully MOT and Serviced on purchase as agreed the oil light came on. I topped it up only for it to come back on. I rang the garage thinking this isn't right its using oil as fast as petrol. They took the car back to have a look but found nothing wrong. I collected the car still driving fine but a couple of weeks later the light is back. By this point I'm convinced I'm being conned with a dodgy car. A couple of heated conversations later the car was on its way back to the garage with me convinced I'd been done over. However the guys couldn't have been more helpful. They sorted a courtesy car while mine was fully checked out no cost to me. When it was found to be a very expensive fault they took my car and set about finding a replacement. Letting me keep the courtesy car the full time. This turned out to be an upgrade to a Porsche boxter. This would have been a decent outcome better car same money running well and i was happy with the outcome. However due to covid my job has changed I no longer need a car for daily use and couldnt justify the expense. On the off-chance I rang A690 to see if they might want the car back. They happily offered a good price saving me the hassle of selling mid pandemic, sorted all the paper work out and were very helpful throughout. This could have been a disaster experience but to me its easy to sell a good car its what happens when things don't go right that make or break the dealer and in my opinion this garage did everything and more to rectify a problem that was only noticeable once the car was doing a decent number of miles. They couldn't have know about the issue with the TT but happily resolved it. If I need a car in future I'd happily go back.

i bought a range rover from paul at A690 in december,the service was excellent from start to finish. i got a puncture last week and had a problem with the wheel nuts not fitting the spare(no problem,paul sent a guy out with the correct ones straight away and everything was sorted) 100% recommend.
