Fred Henderson ticks all those boxes in abundance. From the initial contact we made with them, right up to delivery date, we were treat like Royalty. Alan the Sales Exec, was an absolute dream to negotiate and work with. No pushy sales tactics, no hard sell, just plain old fashioned traditional courteous gentleman. We were very pleased with the valuation given on our PX and more than pleased when we picked our new car up. Alan left no stone unturned to prepare our new car for pick up. Any work we asked to be done on our new car was done to total perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 ⭐️ experience, and would not hesitate to recommend buying a car from this dealership

Took delivery of a used VW Sharan on Aug 25th. The car was impeccably presented and essentials such as servicing and MOT had all been done. I love buying cars but hate being sold one - by which I mean over-attentive sales staff looking over your shoulder and "pushing" a sale. That did not happen here. I was given the keys and told "help yourself" when I first went to view and later when I returned with my wife to show her the vehicle, and to test drive it. Bought a used car from them. Alan Reed was the salesman. It was a great experience. Alan was never pushy at all. I was provided details about some add ons to the car (insurance and bodywork protection) but the information was just e.mailed and it was left with me to decide. There was no pressure. The car was a good price for the year and mileage and I was allowed to take it on a test drive without a salesman with me (take ID such as passport or driving licence to do this). I'd recommend them and would be happy to buy from the garage and Alan again.

After a tyre blowout on a motorway a couple of months ago, Fred Henderson staff recovered me, took me to not the nearest tyre company but one further along my route. Nice looking car dealership we visited it outside working hours but a brief walk past the vehicles showed they had all been valeted and presented nicely, theres a lot to say for this. Despite cars sometimes sitting in situ for a while in a garage forecourt before being sold they dont always get the same 'TLC' until a potential buyer asks to see them , given the many thousands of pounds a customer is potentially going to spend a dirty car both in and out just isnt going to sell against one that's been prepared nicely :)

Great service received from Fred Henderson recently particularly from Alan. He's been so helpful and friendly throughout the whole car buying process and was even able to retrieve a CD from the car we'd put in as trade-in. On our most recent visit (we were there to pick up car mats) I asked if he had any MG keyrings in stock. Unfortunately not, but he did return with a MG iPhone charging cable (he knew how excited I was about getting Apple CarPlay to work), a card wallet and a pen... it's the little things that make a big difference. This place is definitely worth a visit if you're looking to change your car.

Traveled from Scotland to buy an extremely competitively priced Ford Focus Titanium Diesel. I am not normally in the habit of writing reviews but credit where credit is due, the service was nothing other than first class. I was collected from the train station and given the full 5 star treatment. The car was reserved unseen and was actually very accurately described by the salesman who had walked around the car and mentioned the few minor blemishes that it had, so there were no nasty surprises. It had been well prepared ready for me and I left with the car and drove the 160 miles home easily beating the saleman's suggested fuel consumption figure of 45 MPG !!! I've been using Fred's for most of my motoring life, and while they are not the cheapest, they are cheaper than any dealers garage. Also they are fully vat-registered and all the rest of that above-board stuff, so you can use them for your servicing and still keep manufacturers warranties etc etc. I've had a few 'freebies' from them when I've taken the car in with a fault so small they weren't worried about charging (loose exhaust heat-cover for example), and for the rest of the jobs they are good at being up-front with the cost before they start the work.

Picked up an extensive dent on the rear offside door of my Mondeo a couple of months ago. No idea of where or when. No one owned up!! What to do? Checked up on bodywork repairs but since the paintwork had not been damaged, I began exploring the possibility of a paintless dent repair. Not with any real hope because although the paintwork was not scratched or broken, the dent was long and I thought the job would be just too difficult, too complicated. I knew that Fred Henderson enjoyed a very good reputation in the world of garage repairs but never realised they undertook dent repairs. So, I called in at Langley Moor, met David and got him to give me his opinion about what was possible. And I am pleased I did. When he told me that 'he loved the sort challenge my car offered', I booked it in straight away. First class reception, first class service and a first class repair. I was delighted and in great admiration of the skill that David possessed and had put into the repair. So what extensive dent am I talking about? Well, it is hard to believe there ever was one. I usually handwash the car and when i did I failed to find a single trace of a crease or mark on the door. Really a perfect job. Maximum satisfaction and now a maximum recommendation from me. Thank you.
