Recently purchased a 2nd hand Kuga from Edinburgh showroom. Steven Hinks the salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout and made the process very simple. Only slight downside is car has rust spots on door sills and I have to take it to Falkirk to be fixed under Warranty. I had hoped they would be able to fix it. All sorted now, they took the car and fixed it for me without my going to Falkirk. After sales service has been excellent and I couldn't fault their help.

Excellent car purchasing experience from Colin Inglis, Being a passionate ford enthusiast and collector of many performance vehicles dating back to my 1st fiesta mk 1 HES 403X in 1988 then onto s1, S2 RS turbos , sapphire cosworths , XR3I C671 MOO , various mk 2 escorts, I then deviated to other brands due to factors such as price of buying such vehicles and working in Glasgow centre I had to use daily drivers that were still going to be there at finishing time, I then decided in 2020 due to the vast range of top quality ford models to have another venture back on the ford scene and was impressed with choice , From my 1st click of the mouse to inquire about a particular vehicle it was smooth and very slick No pressure sales , no calls pestering every day , but regular updates on vehicle prep and availability of my time and date availability, The professional manner and knowledge of Colin was spot on and suited my way of changing and deciding on vehicle , I dislike the pressure and being followed around a fore court with someone badgering you with business cards and wanting your details , the people’s way is great and very relaxing and so organised hence the travel of 60 miles to purchase car when I have a Ford dealer 2 miles from my door. We bought two used vehicles from Peoples Ford Edinburgh about a year ago on the recommendation of a friend. We got what we consider a decent deal on the vehicles (small discounts on various bits and pieces plus something off the price of the second vehicle). The aftercare has been extremely good. My car has been in twice getting fixed under warranty (nothing untoward wrong with it - just a couple of minor things and one major thing that could happen to any used car at any time). There was no quibble whatsoever with the warranty which was very refreshing. Both times my car came back washed, waxed and valeted at no charge. Service was quick and the ladies at the reception are pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. If I was to pick up on one thing - when the phone was answered by someone other than the reception ladies, they tended to be rather curt and not willing to answer questions so I ended up coming off the phone pissed off a couple of times. But that's a small point considering the excellent service. No regrets about going to Ford.

Talk about being messed around by Peoples! Bought my '15 plate Fiesta from this dealership exactly 2 weeks ago. Got a really good trade in for my old Toyota, sales assistant was friendly and efficient, everything went swimmingly. Then I collected the car! Collected the car at the dealership only to discover there's no service records or manual. Assured they'd arrive immediately. 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and an email later they finally arrive. However, also in the very first minute of owning the car, before it's even driven off the forecourt, I discover the fan switch not working properly. It only works on setting no4, not 1, 2, or 3. A very common problem I later come to discover. So common in fact, there's a YouTube tutorial on fixing it yourself (if out of warranty of course) at home, without tools, in under 15mins. So after explaining about this simple to fix & known fault in great detail to their customer services dept I'm booked in for an appointment 2 weeks later for what I assumed would be the problem fixed in a jiffy. On the day though i'm infuriatingly told only what I already know, that it needs a new fan switch resistor!!! And they'll have the part in a few days!!! Honestly, after sitting in traffic on the bypass for close to half an hour I almost blew a fuse! I'm so very disappointed in People's & feel I have been greatly inconvenienced due to their lack of professionlism, foresight & customer care. This has not been a good experience at all, except for the car, it drives like a dream, so far.........

I have just purchased a new Focus RS from this dealership. It is the first time I have dealt with them as my retail dealer is unable to supply this car as Ford only allow Ford Stores (main dealerships) to supply them. I was very wary at first but I must say I have found my purchasing experience very favourable. I have been very happy with every aspect of my buying experience. Full marks to the manager, Fraser Main, also Euan Buchanan, sales executive and Lesley Moody in accounts who helped me with my five year warranty.

My car came into Peoples for it's first service and as I live in North Berwick I had a timed appointment 13.30 hrs. I was a bit early and was told that the car would be ready in about 2 hours. I was updated on the progress of the service 3 times and the car was ready in under the 2hrs. I was very happy with this as I am a new customer of Peoples. What I was most unhappy about was being unable to get a tea or coffee as the cafe closed about 14.00 hrs. also there was not a newspaper or magazine to read only car brochures. The showroom is a very smart modern building with a comfortable seating area just a shortage of beverages. My last two cars came from Arnold Clark and they have a t.v.free drinks and as much shortbread as you can eat plus lots of newspapers and magazines. Apart from this the service and staff were excellent. Thank you Arthur Harrow

I recently agreed to lease a new Kuga through Peoples Ford at Sighthill, where Campbell Gibb handled all the details very efficiently. Having struggled to find the spec to match my present Kuga, a design which had been discontinued, he found a suitable vehicle in Aberdeen which had a few additional extras that made all the difference. The three year lease details were agreed very quickly, and around 4/5 weeks later I took possession of my new car. Everything was handled very professionally and I would highly recommend Campbell for his excellent attention throughout the period, including arranging a Sunday pick-up. Well done Campbell, I will happily recommend you to anyone else l know who is looking to buy or lease a Ford.
