P. P.Just got back a differential for a Vauxhall Monaro V8 that Alpine Transmissions had rebuilt and it’s an excellent job. This is a rare unit but their immediate knowledge of the potential issues with it made it clear it was in good hands. The turn-around time was surprisingly quick too. I would certainly use these guys again and can happily recommend them.
k. g.Cant recommend this place highly enough phoned up just for a general quote to get my diff rebuild was happy with the price i was give so gave the go a head on getting the work done what i never relised tho was how great the turn around was i had my gearbox/diff back within 24hrs now thats wat i call quick service.also customer service was outstanding from start to finish 3months down the line and the car feel better than it did brand new. Honest & trustworthy machanics & staff. I've been using Alpine Transmissions for over 7 yrs & always found the work they do to be of the highest class & quality.
Any problem with my car is sorted without the usall machanic b.s. story about how hard the job was to do. Alpine only do the jobs that need done, no adding on problems that are not there.
I would definitely recommend using Alpine Transmissions as an honest, trustworthy, friendly, reliable, genuine garage that puts the customers needs first.
D. B.Had some noise in the gearbox of my Alfa 159 and called a few places looking for advice and a solution. Alan was the only person who gave me any confidence that it would be repaired properly and not bodged. Had the bearings, third and fourth gear and synchro replaced as well as taking the opportunity to change the clutch and flywheel while the box was out. Fantastic work and my car is purring now! Started to have problems with my gears sticking and not going into 3rd gear so took it to two different garages who said my gearbox had gone and gave me quotes of £850 for reconditioning gearbox and new clutch. Went to Alpine Transmissions who did not think it was the gearbox when I told them the issues i was having so after they took a look at it they thought it was probably something to do with the oil. When going to do oil change they noticed that the previous garage that done work on my car had put too much oil in it as well as the wrong oil. After Alpine Transmissions changed my oil with the right oil and the correct amount, my gearbox has been working perfect again.
I would like to say thank you for saving me £800 and for the professionalism of the work done.
