My partner and I normally avoid Arnold clark for purchasing cars after some bad experiences with other garages. After being majorly let down by another garage (not Arnold clark) there was only one other car that was catching our eye, a white kia rio from eat Kilbride branch. My husband contacted the store and Scott Dillan took the call. The car had not been valeted yet but Scott went our of his way to get a video to us, after this all contact was smooth and seamless. When Scott said he would get something done or email he did. We travelled from Aberdeen to collect our car, Scot went above and beyond, he emailed my husband details of where out hotel was and how we get there from the train station and the collection of the car was a simple process. Extremely happy with our purchase and the service we received. Would use this garage again. Thanks Scott

I have dealt with only one member of staff namely Alan Aikman whom I found to be polite and courteous on my first visit. I work at East Kilbride motor store as a valeter and my partner's grand parents where interested in buying a car but in their 80s they were very unsure. I gave them Stevie Christie's name. He was nothing but helpful made them feel at ease very quickly and agreed on a lovely Renault captur. There had been a bit of confusion as they thought they would receive some sort of discount due to their association with myself but unfortunately due to type of relation to myself and me not having known that they thought this made it a bit difficult they wanted a trade in as well but unfortunately was not at value they expected . It just got too much for them being in their 80s so they cancelled and later changed their minds. They came up eventually to see the car and Stevie made it so easy and simple for them was a proper gentlemen had their interests completely at heart. He was even challenged by a very difficult relative who was very disgruntled towards Stevie that didn't matter he still stayed and diffused the situation and still continued to help the two out. It is extremely clear why my parents have been using Arnold Clark East Kilbride for almost 20 years. I passed my driving test on September 2nd and was already in Arnold Clark East Kilbride by September 3rd. My sales consultant was Stephen Taylor and he was amazing especially as he knew I was extremely nervous about buying my first car. He was able to offer advice and knowledge regarding the different cars I was interested in, helped with looking at insurance quotes as it was something I had never done before and the aftercare was phenomenonal. The zip on passenger seat broke within the first week of having the car, I spoke to Stephen on the Monday and it was fixed by the Wednesday (was told that it could of been fixed the Tuesday but I was just unable to get there). From the moment I decided the car I wanted from the Arnold Clark website the service was outstanding. Paul Taylor was fabulous. I live in Aberdeen and had less than average customer service at an Aberdeen branch hense the reason I travelled a bit further afield. My review is based on the service that we have received from Arnold Clark East Kilbride , we have never purchased a vehicle this way before and were very apprehensive about buying a car long distance, but we have 4 young children and wanted a Toyota Proace Verso which was not available locally to us hence our search. The experience could not have been smoother, Steven Christie was extremely helpful and in a way that was not at all pushy. He sent us detailed videos of the vehicle, everything was explained and communicated well, any questions or queries that we had were never a problem. The vehicle when it arrived was exactly as advertised and described and is just what we wanted. Steven has since been in touch to check that everything is ok for us. To summarise, we would certainly buy from Steven Christie at Arnold Clark East Kilbride again and thank you from us all.
