Recently purchased a Golf R from this branch. After a few days I had some mechanical issues that resulted on me returning the car for a repair. Donald the general manager couldn’t have been more helpful, and it’s not every day you receive that level of customer service from a General Manager. I would highly recommend dealing with this particular branch.

Fantastic buying experience and after sales. I bought a car from Brian during lockdown from over 250 miles away. He was able to offer the best price for my part exchange and made the entire buying experience easy and hassle-free. Due to his knowledge and patience in answering any and all questions I had I was able to confidently buy my latest car remotely. Nothing was too much trouble, with speedy communications and outstanding customer focused service. Unlike at many car dealers, the excellent service does not end once you have bought a car. Donald in aftersales does a phenomenal job. Anything that wasn't 100% perfect was fixed quickly and easily at a garage local to me to save me travelling to my nearest Arnold Clark. It is rare to find someone who works so tirelessly to ensure that you have the best possible customer experience and who truly cares about their customers needs. I cannot rate the aftersales he delivered any more highly. If you are unsure of who to go to, rest assured you are in excellent hands with these two. My next car purchase is undoubtedly going to be with them.

After seeing the car I wanted at the opposite end of the country I was unsure as to what the sales/aftersales would be like but after speaking with Bryan it soon became apparent I had nothing to worry about. Grant Walker in the sales team is a great guy. Listens to what you want and gives good advice, doesn't go for the hard sell and let me drive the car away the same day. Now on to the bad stuff. I really think that used cars sold on to customers should be serviced to a reasonable standard after purchasing from the previous owner. I brought the car to a friend's garage for my first MOT since purchasing the car and had to replace the exhaust because it was cracked and heavily damaged with rust, and 3 of the tyres were at the absolute limit of being illegal. Considering i'v had the car less than a year, that was a hefty list of items that needed fixed so soon after I had bought it. I wish I had done my homework and checked all this out while buying the car (a learning experience for next time) but I don't think it's much to ask that the car at least has some cheap new tyres on it when selling it on to the next guy.

Clean and well presented showroom, external space less impressive with an infustrial look. Salesman I spoke to was friendly but didn't know much about the car even though we had booked a test drive 48 hours before. He answered a lot of questions with "I'll need to check". No hard sell but not much interest either. As soon as we talked about a reduction in price and put our case to him he wasn't interested

Staff were friendly enough. They didn't have the cars in stock that were showing on the website. They told us they had the car we wanted 'at another location' and if we paid £100 deposit, they'd bring it over. Takes a day to turn around, so we just went elsewhere.

Bought my car in feb, grant walker made the sale very smooth, very helpful and not pushy atall top bloke, cars going perfectly aswell, highly recommend grant if you are going to get a new car👍🏻
