Booked our new car in for ceramic coating, had to change date a couple of times due to manufacturing delays - none of which were an issue. Communication throughout was fantastic. In relation to the work itself - it’s obvious Ross has a real passion for what he does, the unit is immaculate and really reassuring that it’s a professional service being delivered. Ross had car for 3 days, provided updates and photographs on progress. We were delighted with outcome - car had a mirror finish and absolutely no regrets in investing in the ceramic coating. All aftercare and maintenance was provided by Ross. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants this done and wants someone who genuinely loves what he does and is reflected in the exceptional standard of work! Thanks again Ross!

I had purchased a used Audi A6 which was just over a year old. I noticed on closer inspection when I was cleaning the car it had very light surface scratches on it from previous owner possibly washing too vigorously. When I spoke to Ross who was very helpful and knowledgeable, he suggested an Enhancement package. After this was done the car now looks like new again 😀. Booked my car into Blackbeards for a ceramic package. Before I booked in I took the car down to Ross where he walked around the car with me checking for all the bits that needed sorted and he pointed them out to me when he seen them, we then went and got a date booked which wasn’t a long wait to get the car in. I dropped the car off to Ross and picked it up again a few days later and the difference was unreal as it looked better than when it left the show room. The car is now extremely easy to keep clean and has had nothing but compliments about how amazing the difference is. Extremely happy with the car and will definitely use blackbeards again

Ross did a ceramic coating on my Fiesta ST after a friend suggested him to me and the results were outstanding! It looked better after he was finished with it, than when I first picked the car up with delivery mileage! Ross did a stage 1 paint correction and headlight restoration on my BMW 5 series today. The car is looking virtually brand new which, considering the low cost of his work, is amazing. So pleased with the results! Very friendly and professional service and he kept me up to date with the progress of the job throughout the day. Ross completed a ceramic detail on my car, 100% worth it and it looks better than the day I picked it up. I was unhappy with a lot of the marks left on the car by previous polishing at the dealers and Ross managed to tidy these up and give the car a proper mirror finish bringing out the best in the metallic paint all with the added benefit of the ceramic protection. Friendly service and willing to give advice on looking after the amazing job he does. Totally trustworthy, which is becoming a rare thing these days. I brought my car to Blackbeard’s after having shoddy work carried out by another so-called ‘detailer’, from start to finish Ross was superb and worked above and beyond my expectations. Ross was honest and transparent on what he could achieve with a single-stage correction and I decided to go ahead and get the car booked in. After dropping off the car, Ross kept me fully updated and provided before and after pictures of the different panels on the car as he worked along. On picking the car up, it was clear that Ross’s attention to detail was second to none, Ross had even gone as far as to replace the silver screws on my registration plates with black and yellow screws so as to match the colour of the characters! I would wholeheartedly recommend Blackbeard’s personal and trustworthy service, I look forward to using them again!

Art of the Detailer Ordered the new facelift Jaguar F-Pace R-Dynamic in November 2020 for delivery the following February. As expected, the dealership offered to apply their standard Gard-X paint protection, which I understand takes them less than a day to apply. I declined, as I wanted my new car polished & protected properly by a craftsman. I googled local car detailers and found a few, but the website, Facebook page and YouTube vlogs by Ross of Blackbeard’s Detailing stood head & shoulders above the rest. And the added bonus - his premises are only 10 minutes drive from my home. I opted for the very competitively priced 3-day New Car Ceramic Package, a similar cost to the dealership’s Gard-X offer. I created an account on the website, paid my £50 deposit in December and booked the car in for late February based on the expected delivery date. Unfortunately COVID-19’s impact on Jaguar’s supply chains had the delivery date changing week by week. Ross was very accommodating, having to rearrange my slot numerous times, until I eventually received my new F-Pace in late March 2021, 5 weeks late! Ross advised me to tell the dealership not wash/touch the car but simply remove the protective films & packaging used during transport. This advice prevents additional paintwork damage caused by the sometimes subpar cleaning employed by dealerships. In the end, my dealership simply hosed off the transport dirt on pickup day, to make my untouched new car more presentable in the showroom. With less than 100 miles on my new baby, I handed it over to Ross to perform his magic, including decontamination wash, paint inspection, polish to enhance the gloss and multi-coat ceramic protection. That afternoon, Ross supplied a comprehensive report on the current condition of the paintwork, including paint depth readings from all panels, photos of existing marring and highlighted a chip on one of the red brake calipers - which he would fix prior to coating the calipers. This sheer attention to detail, the Trojan-like effort expended on my F-Pace over 3 days to give it that true ‘new car’ look & protection and the passion for the ‘art of detailing’ demonstrated by Ross, simply confirms I’d made the right choice in Car Detailer. If you want your pride-and-joy looked after by someone who genuinely cares about the art, whilst still keeping his pricing affordable, I cannot recommend Ross highly enough.

I recently took my car to Blackbeards. Mercedes coupe. The difference to the paintwork is incredible with a 5 year old car looking new, probably better than new. Ross did an excellent job on my wife’s Renault Zoe. He transformed the paintwork which was dull and had several marks and scratches to a near mirror like finish. It looked great. We also have a dog and the boot lining was covered in hairs which were very difficult to remove. On completion Ross had this looking like new.

Used this chap a few time now, 3 time in fact. Started with a full pain correction on my 2014 Golf GTD. Black in colour and full of swirls. Result, mirror like. Next was my wife's year old Volvo XC90, it's the family bus so I cannot fathom the things Ross found. Needless to say it was immaculate.... And destroyed a few hours later by my two min tornados. Finally I had a ceramic coating and full detail on my Merc including the engine bay. The finish was unbelievable, and 4 months later a quick wash and its like new. Highly recommend Ross to complete any level of detailing. He often send you update texts as he steps though his process. A stickler to attention to detail. I'm looking forward to buying my next car and get him to transform that.
