Super auction. Great that this place isn't a click and collect. Great that it's open to wander around and inspect the cars with your own eyes, other than relying on an online description from someone who barely knows or indeed cares about what they're doing. Staff are fantastic and they truly do care about you. 100% 5 stars all day long.

Have been buying 30 cars per month for 13 years from Central and have always found them very helpful. With any auction its "buyer beware" and if you want to know a car has no faults, then an auction is not the place for you. The reason dealers charge more for their cars is so we cant take the cars, rectify any issues, service and mot it and give you a warranty, however reading some of the reviews it seems people think they can cut out the middle man and save money with no hassle, it just doesn't work that way! If you want a great team of dedicated people then you cant go wrong at Central. Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Buyer beware of cars appearing that where not lined up before hand. I got duped Into buying the auction lemon as they rushed it through and it seemed good at first look. Turns out had been bodged up with a different thermostat and various disconnected sensors and blanked off bits to make it appear fine. No lights on dash sounded fine. Head gasket went on the drive home. One expensive rebuild and head skim and it went again within 200 miles. Left 5 thousand out of pocket and still have a broken car a year and a half later. Auction new exactly what they where doing and i now think they bumped the price up. Car wasn't on system despite being put through 5 times already which I later found out. Had been taken away bodged up and brought back. Auction done their best to hide this and help the car sell. Has ruined them for me, used to buy lots of cars but when the auction is helping tradesmen scam other people I no longer have any trust. They get 3 stars purely because I've had good experiences in the past and had a few bargain. Wouldn't have fallen for the trick if they auctions hadn't assisted them in hiding the fact the car was not as described.

Purchased one or two cars from here and always found them very helpful, and the cars or vans always as stated. More than anything delivery always on time ( 7am Saturday works for me ) Accounts always on the ball (Miss) hopefully see you all soon!

Have bought a couple of cars here in the last few weeks and was very happy with the service. Prices seem better than other auctions and I didn't notice any fake bidding by the auctioneer that I have seen at other auctions. My only gripe is they don't follow the auction list order so you have to keep an eye on the cars you are looking at. They will also let you have a look inside the car when they start it up which other auctions won't, I have had someone run over to me shouting then I opened the door at another auction. I will definitely be back even if its a bit of a trek for me.

this is an honest review of what is a very good auction,1 disabled spaces not adequate anyone is allowed to use them. 2 heated auction not in your wildest dreams if heating was adequate would the clientelle be walking about with big jackets and hats (see photos) 3 pricing is quite severe even if trade buy a runner @ £200 before you leave you will have spent in excess of £300 +staff are generally friendly and helpfull although there are some exceptions,many are not from this country and therefore find it difficult to answer your questions which can be extremely frustrating.points out of 10? 6.and finally the toilets are disgusting,no follow up nto clean during auction, broken taps and handle on cistern,toilet it self blocked full to overflowing absolutely horrendous no place for families.

Have bought several cars here in the past and always found the staff helpful some cars have faults but you are buying at an auction and they are sold as seen. I have seen so many negative comments on here but speak from experience well run auction and I will be buying again shortly from here.

Been dealing with central car auctions for a few years now they are doing their best under very difficult times you can't view the cars on site you have to rely on the description they supplie on the vehicle witch i would say are very accurate had 1 problem with the description and they resolved it to my satisfaction
