Stephen and the team are the best. I’ve purchased 2 Mercedes from them and waiting to buy my 3rd car. Very accommodating I said I was unable to get to the showroom organised my car to collected from my house the next day. Better service than Mercedes or peter vardy. I enjoy how they let you look around the showroom and don’t pressure you. Best car showroom by far. Really good selection of cars best to check out the website.

Went here to look at a VW Touareg. Got loads of time to look around the car both inside and out, the car was in very good condition. No problems taking it for a test drive and was offered a pretty fair price for my car as a trade in. Decided to buy the car. When I went to collect it I noticed a problem with vibrations in the steering, contacted them as soon as I got home and arranged to take it back a day or so later due to work commitments. The problem was just new tyres that were fitted not being balanced properly. Then while it was at the car centre a brake warning light came on. Again this was dealt with, new pads were put in and brake sensors fixed. Was given a car as a good will gesture to use until I got mine back. Not a great start to buying my new car, but they did fix it promptly(touch wood) Every one there was friendly and professional, bar the teething problems I am happy with the car.( Bar doubts on whether I have bought the right car for me) Hopefully no more visits to East Kilbride unless I decide to change cars again. Would certainly try them again I think.

Bought my Merc CLA45 from Steve at East Kilbride Used Cars and I couldn’t possibly be more happy with it. From day 1 Steve was responsive to my enquiry and so helpful, but above all else honest and trustworthy. So much so, we got on a plane from London to Glasgow to buy the car and it was exactly as described. I would recommend anyone to Steve. I haven’t stopped smiling since I picked my car up!!

Went in today to look at a Mercedes SLK I’ve been after for a while, for my wife. The car was immaculate and really in mint condition. It wasn’t the cheapest around , but the service received from Stephen and his staff was truly fantastic. We negotiated a fair deal for the car, I went away to think it over and I decided it was the deal for us. I phoned Stephen and told him I was going to go for it. He moved his staff on to the car , got it fully serviced and immaculately valeted to allow me to pick it up the same day. We highly recommend this local business and don’t hesitate to give them a go. Stephen was such a lovely person, and efficient too! I traded in my beautiful MX5 for a BMW. I noticed an isofix cover was missing, which he ordered while I stood there and was delivered to my house. There was also an issue with blocked windscreen washers, which I am taking I to my local garage but Stephen offered to pay for without argument or question, as I only had the car for a couple of days. I'm always nervous of buying used cars, particularly post sale, but I would be likely to go back to Stephen in the future! Thanks!

Used Steven for my latest car - a 2014 Ford Focus. The service was fantastic, quick and easy. Its often quite daunting going in to see a car on your own but Steven is very trustworthy and came recommended to me by two local friends who own their own car service centres. The car is immaculate, came with everything as promised. I was surprised at the amount of stock they held, and also the quality and range of cars. Bought Merc GL 2 weeks ago, distance sale. Gave free delivery Scotland to London (arrived a day early!). Stephen really helpful and quick to sort out finance, give info etc. Slight communication issue with number of keys but that was pre-sale. Issue with reversing camera post-sale and Stephen was really quick to sort out local garages to me (and at his cost). Turned out it was non-Merc retro fit. Offered to take car back but not huge deal me, and really happy with car. Still gets 5 star as he tried everything to get it sorted, and again really quick about it. Ended up giving me extra 6 month RAC warranty on top of existing 6 months. Really pleased with car and service. Don't buy cars every day but will check out his place first in future.

I bought a Mazda 6 online from Stephen Lindsay at East Kilbride used cars. The process was easy and he arranged everything including transport delivery. The car, unfortunately developed an issue shortly after purchase and this is when Stephen and his team really came through with what I can only describe as exemplary customer service. He had the car transported back to a specialist engineering firm to take care of the problem and everything was repaired and returned to me all at the expense of East Kilbride used cars. Stephen Lindsay is a man of his word and a true gent. It is very refreshing in this day and age to find a car dealership that still puts its customers satisfaction at the top! I would not hesitate to recommend Stephen and his team to anyone wishing to buy a used car. I shall certainly use them again when either my wife or I need to replace our vehicles. That's me bought my 2nd car from these guys and i have to say they are a credit to the used car industry. Graeme was an absolute gentleman and showed great patient with my elderly mother who wasn't quite sure what she was looking for. Stephen who i think owns the place, gave me a great price for her old car. I financed the balance of my mums car which all went very smoothly. Can't believe the earlier negative reviews either - certainly contrasts with my experience. We arrived near to closing time on a Sunday - but Graeme allowed us time to look at a Mini Cooper S, which was in great nick. We bought the car the following weekend at a keen price - with a (new) full year MOT and 1 month warranty. Graeme and Stephen helped my partner out with all the paper work. We've found the after sales service to be excellent - there was a problem we hadn't spotted with the boot. The Mini was back in within a couple of days, and my partner was offered a lift back home, and picked up when the boot was fixed. Just driven the Mini today for the first time - sweet car ! Overall, impressed.

Popped in to see about a car, was never really considered for finance from a few other places i had tried. Stephen went above and beyond to secure me finance and the car. The car itself is fantastic for the price and so far, so good. Would 100% recommend for anyone who doesn't think they will get finance.

We bought a car from Stephen 2.5 years ago now and have had no problems whatsoever. It was not the typical car that is in the forecourt of this used dealer but more a straight forward family car, when we purchased the car it had 67,000 miles on the clock and it now has 40,000 more and we have spent nothing more than general wear and tear, oil changes, new set of tyres... One of the few good experiences we have had buying used cars, to top it off Stephen offered £200 of the asking price as it needed an oil change and front brake discs that he had not had a chance to get done and we needed the car straight away so the money off would cover the cost if we wanted to get it done ourselves, had he not said anything we would have been none the wiser, and it didn't cost is £200 to get that done. Reviewing now as we are keeping an eye on the website to see if any other family type cars come up as the old Ford is now well over 100,000 miles, will be sad to see her go but still no worries passed last MOT with no problems.

Just bought a 17 year old BMW 320 cd convertible from here,car looks and drives like new,not a stone chip or scratch on alloys, almost concourse condition,it only cost me £ 4400, it was one of the cheapest cars In the place but Steven and mark treat you as if youv just bought a Aston Martin! This is the 3rd car in 5 years iv bought here,z4 and e class Merc where the others ,both great car's,6 month warranty and a years breakdown cover come with it ,car was valated to a high standard and Steven even sorts your tax out for you( I'm not good at that stuff),so great place to buy a car. Bought an Vauxhall Insignia from East Kilbride Used Car Centre last Month (February 2018)and Stephen Lindsay made the process so easy- no pressure. Am from the South (Berkshire) so we flew to Scotland to check and pick up the car and Stephen offered to pick us up from the Airport to East Kilbride, it was great service, drove all the way back down South (one stop) , smooth drive no problems, great car. But I sat down with the guys in Ek Used car sales and have to say from start to completion was delighted. I not only got the new car but had no penalties in relation to the negative equity on old finance deal which they cleared for me and my new car which was being put on as a taxi passed the stringent tests required by South Lanarkshire council without needing a single thing needed. Have dealt with Stephen a few times over the past few years. My last purchase was a Landrover Freelander. Stephen had the rear discs and pads replaced and renewed the timing belt as it had reached its limit. Very pleased with the deal. When buying used cars there is always a risk. Was a take it or leave it attitude as they could see I really wanted the car. Went in here in December 15 to have a look at what stock they had expecting nothing more than the usual 2nd hand car salesman hard sell, was pleasantly surprised by the attitude of staff who could not have been more helpful. Was given plenty of time to ask questions and left in peace to peruse a very good selection of well looked after cars. Decided on a car and a test drive was organised without any fuss. After the test drive we decided that we really liked the car so all that was left was to sort out the price and trade in value of our current car. Both were sorted to a price that we were both happy with and the deal was struck. Throughout the whole experience we were never pressured and always dealt with in an extremely courteous manner. We left with a new car and were extremely happy with both the car and the way we had been treated. At the end of March there was an issue with the car that resulted in a hefty garage bill, I went back and spoke to Steven who proposed that he would pick up a portion of the final bill, not something that I was expecting as the issue was one that could not have been foreseen but it does go to show that there are still people out there that care about customer service and not just trying to get the sale at any cost. Everything you want from a garage, in my experience I delt with Graham, and can say was a breath of fresh air, not your usual when you go to a garage & have a flock of guys pestering the life out you, a friendly meet & greet and let us have a look round when asked to view a few cars wasn't any hassle always polite & friendly, no sales tactics given or trying to pressure you into another car if you don't like the one you went to see. I am the owner of this business, and am writing to respond to the 2 malicious reviews above, these reviews were written in the middle of the night on the same night that i received a series of nuisance phone calls which resulted in me turning the business phone off for the night. I have never sold either of these 2 people a car, and to my knowledge any of their friends. Google's policy on this is not to remove any review unless it breaches innapropriate behaviour which they deem these reviews not to have done. So basically i am powerless to do anything regarding these reviews and all i can say is that i am not under any investigation from Trading Standards and pride myself on having some integrity and quite frankly an excellent after sales service.
