Took the decision to purchase a new Defender 90 back in July 2021. Placed my order with Connor at Taggarts Land Rover South, customer service from Connor has been excellent. As per any purchase and in these uncertain times and through no fault of the dealership, our car delivery date changed on numerous occasions. I was kept informed of the date changes throughout, and any changes that were required were brought to my attention. Certainly some small issues prior to collection of the vehicle. However these were rectified prior to collection date. Collected my new Defender Sunday 19th July 2022 and extremely happy with the vehicle and the customer service from Connor.When the times comes to purchase a new or additional vehicle I will be calling Connor again, I wish more sales men could be like him! 10/10 Service

We had been looking for a new car since Easter time with no luck. I saw the ad online at the beginning of last week and sent an enquiry online. Gavin from Taggarts responded promptly and answered all the questions I was asking. He was polite, friendly and very professional. We decided this could be the car for us. We booked an appointment with Gavin to test drive the car and after the checks and being insured, we were able to test drive the car, without a sales person coming along with us which made such a difference. On our return Gavin chatted to us and we felt no pressure or 'gimmick sales patter', which is what put us off in previous garages, we were not 'hounded' by Taggarts in anyway to make a decision and I love this about our experience. Previously I have made bad decisions on cars, when pressured into buying on the spot and after test driving at a different well known garage a few months ago, I was phoned and emailed 6-7 times per day without actually replying and at that stage, I felt really overwhelmed! My experience with Taggarts was world's apart and I would 100% go there again when it's time for another car! Test drove the car on Thursday and picked it up 2 days later! Smooth transaction and the car is in perfect condition and immaculate as promised! Highly recommend Taggarts, contact Gavin for an easy, honest sale, you will not be disappointed!

I personally picked this branch to go back to after experiencing the best car purchase I have ever experienced here approx 15 months ago. I was delighted to see that our salesman Gavin was still working at the branch and reached out to him for his help in buying our new car. The term salesman really should be taken lightly. The buying experience from Gavin is 100% not sales but instead is 100 % focused on customer experience. His knowledge of the brand is superb, his attention to detail is remarkable and his customer service skills are without question incredible.
We went in to look at one car, test drove two cars and left with a completely different car ! Nothing was ever too much trouble for Gavin, the buying journey was an absolute breeze and completely straightforward. This is the second time dealing with Taggarts Glasgow South, this time it was a good experience with Lynn Beattie going over and above to ensure all that was picked up and was covered by my LR Extended warranty was dealt with. Lynn even facilitated the replacement vehicle and couldn’t have been more helpful, fully understanding our situation.
An enormous contrast from dealing with Taggarts Glasgow North where they refused to honour a brake callipers failure which fell within the LR Warranty remit, even when I showed them the policy document which clearly stated callipers and subsequent failures were covered. I ended up £700 out of pocket and due to work constraints could not bring it to the attention of LR, though I did fill in a survey like this one.
All in all a good experience, which made the LR Extended Warranty well worth it.

Having recently taken delivery of a new Range Rover Evoque, I can quite comfortably state that the service from the dealership was outstanding. The salesperson, Conor Jefferson, was a joy to deal with throughout the process.
Given the global shortages following COVID there was a long delay in the delivery of the vehicle, but Conor kept us up to date with the progress on a very regular basis. I can't speak highly enough of Conor or his approach, displaying empathy and providing reassurance. In fact, if not for Conor, we may well have cancelled the order and looked elsewhere, due to the delays.
Not only that, but he has fine selection of nice shirts.

Gavin Loftus was excellent throughout this whole process. I started speaking with him in 2020 re: the right time to get a new car and he has been nothing but very patient and helpful in the intervening period - particularly when having to tell me about delay after delay to my order and finally securing a nearly-new car that met my requirements.
When it became apparent that my new-car order was going to be substantially delayed, I contacted a range of other dealerships (Land Rover and other manufacturers) to see what was available. I went in with the intention of buying a Range Rover Evoque in an incredibly difficult time with limited availability in second hand car buying. Conor Jefferson was the salesman from the get go and was extremely helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to try and find me a car. It was definitely a much preferred car buying experience from the traditional pushy car sales. As a first time Evoque buyer, Conor let me take the car out for an hour test drive to give me a real feel for what it's like to drive a Range Rover. After purchasing, the car needed to go into the Workshop to be tested and serviced and Conor kept me informed throughout every step of the process - sticking to the time frames as promised. He was a pleasure to work with and will definitely be back to purchase again.

Unfortunately the car SW update failed and the car had to stay an additional day. Most frustrating was the car couldn't be driven and I suspect this must have been known by the person servicing the car. It should never have been returned to me.
On a very positive note, the response from the garage to resolve the problem was outstanding. The arranged for a replacement car and sorted out the issue the next day. This turned a bad situation into a positive.

This is my Landrover, having just passed the 100,000 mile mark on our way into work this morning, every one of them barring 57 delivery miles done by myself over just short of eight and a half years.
First Car that I have ever owned from New. Both of us essentially sound under the bonnet, but the odd squeak here and there, the occasional dent on the bodywork and the upholstery now getting a bit worn around the edges.
Thanks to my friends at Shields (Taggarts) Landrover Kennishead for keeping us on the road over these years through the thick and thin of Landrover Ownership. They are a great bunch of people and the customer service has always gone above and beyond.
The Freelander 2 is a brilliant car and we’re sorry that Landrover aren’t making them anymore.
