I went to Macklin Nissan last month looking for a small, economical car but was unsure which make to choose. The salesman, Chris Murphy, listened to my needs and matched them perfectly. He showed me a number of cars within my budget and I chose a Toyota Aygo. Chris dealt with the DVLA as I have a private reg. which makes things a bit more complicated. He made that process so easy for me, he did all the work! Chris was efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. So pleased with my new car. The entire process was so quick and smooth. I picked my car on Sunday and I was driving it away the following Thursday. Everything was really hassle free and I’d highly recommend Owen. He’s very friendly with great customer service and made my family feel very welcome. Not the typical over bearing salesman and made the experience of buying my first car a really good one all round. All the staff I encountered were really pleasant and happy to help. When I went to collect my car It was under the cloth cover and a welcome sign was set up - a really nice / personal touch I thought! They talked me through the finance options available and put me at ease as this was a process I hadn’t been through before. They valeted the car beautifully and made the day of me getting the car really special by having a welcome sign for me and a grand reveal of the car from under a cloth for some added showmanship. Whilst searching the Bristol Street Motors website, I came across a Mercedes Benz B class for sale, which was in my price range. Although i had been looking at other types and makes of cars, this was a car I had wanted for several years now. On phoning Bristol Street Motors, I discovered that the car was actually located at Macklin Motors in Glasgow, 350 miles away. I then spoke to a salesperson at Macklin Motors, David Smith.. He gave me all of the details about the car, plus the cost of transporting the car down to me. I did find this a bit off putting at first. David then provided me with a video of the car, which showed little marks and scuffs as you would expect from a 5 year old car. After discussion with my Wife, decided to go ahead with the purchase. There was a lot of discussion via emails and phone in order to complete the deal. With full support from David and other staff at Macklin Motors I took receipt of the car. I have had the car checked out for everything as required, and find myself and Wife very satisfied. Although I took this car on without test driving or checking it out, I can honestly say that the staff at Macklin Motors have been honest and superb in the handling of the sale, even with follow up phone calls. I would highly recommend them to any would be car buyers.=
