The garage were excellent. Our previous car was an A class and we loved it, we have swapped it for another. Given the current market we still managed to secure a good deal and got the car very quickly. Paperwork was straightforward and communication from the garage was great.Bob L in the Sales Department was particularly good and really looked after us. He was always available to take calls and answer questions. He was also very helpful and supportive in navigating some issues we had with our exchange car (issue nothing to do with the garage). It's been a positive experience and we'll definitely be back to Mercedes in Giffnock.

I have dealt with the Giffnock team twice now & I will most probably return again. The 1st time was a couple of years ago during covid when I dealt with Ewan, who was absolutely superb from start to finish especially when everything had to be done remotely & they even delivered the car to me due to the restrictions that where in place at the time. I was so impressed that I decided to contact the team at Giffnock once again where Matthew, Steven & the rest of the sales team where very attentive when I rang with my queries. They made sure that what I was requiring was adhered to & the correspondence was always done when said. Again mostly everything was done remotely & apart from technical issues on my part (Matthew had the patience of a saint that day) it all went smoothly & efficiently. Turning a problem into a solution. My car broke down on a Friday morning just before I was due to return urgently to London. It couldn’t be repaired while I waited and due to the train strike, there were no flights available. The team swung into action and offered me a courtesy car to get me mobile again. Mercedes benz giffnock 10 out of 10 5 star. Mercedes benz Warrington 0out of 10 and zero stars. Bought a s350 from Warrington . Driving back with it stopped for a break at services and the car just stopped dead.nothing worked and I mean nothing worked. Called Warrington and told them what had happened and was told somebody would call me back. 40 minutes and After numerous call back to them I was eventually told where to locate the emergency number and told to call them.(this is a very hot afternoon in june and we are sitting in the car in this terrible heat) Called the emergency breakdown number and they arranged a rac patrol to attend. The rac arrive nearly 2 hours later and jump start the car. It cuts off again and he jump starts it again this happened every time he starts it. He advices ne to take it straight to to our nearest Mercedes dealer without stopping. So we drive straight to Mercedes benz giffnock and arrive at about 6.00pm. So there's only the salesmen there and I explian to him what has happened. (By the way Warrington were supposed to call ahead for me and let giffnock know what was happening.) The guy was really nice and took the keys and said someone will call me in the morning. In the morning I got a call from a lovely girl Courtney in the service department. I told her what had happened and she told me not to worry and they would get it sorted. She called me almost on a daily basis given me updates as to what was going on. The car was sitting at giffnock for 2 month's before I got it back. In those 2 month's I had one yes one call from Warrington. I can't thank Courtney and alll the staff and the general manager ian taylor enough for all there help. They delt with everything very professionally. Unlike Mercedes benz Warrington

Buying the first car is an exciting journey that can turn into a nightmare if you don't get the right dealership or salesperson. Knowing nothing about cars, when my partner and I stepped into Mercedes-Benz of Giffnock, we weren't sure what to expect. Christopher Edmund, an amazing, professional, very patient and courteous person, started helping me find the right fit for us. He listened to every requirement, question and prepared the list of Cars we might be interested in. From then onwards, he ensured every stage of the purchase was smooth for me without me worrying about anything at all. He helped with cars, test rides, finding the right insurances and extras etc. Throughout my entire car purchase journey, from finding the right car till fitting a child car seat, Chris ensured I had nothing to worry about after I drive away. Had an issue with the front grill on my sons A-Class. A bit of it was missing/broken off and we had not noticed. We only recently realised this (and as he purchased the car 8 months ago) we didn’t know how it would go to get it fixed. The team (in this case, we dealt with Ewan) were flexible in terms of arrangements to come in and sort test drives etc, issues identified pre-sale were sorted promptly and the car was ready to drive away at the time arranged. Now just hope I see the same level of service is seen with aftersales, as I've identified an issue with my car which will need looking at under warranty... What can i say, I spoke to Phil at the bringing of this year in purchasing my car. From the first call to handover Phil's personal, professional manor and attention to detail has be absolute amazing, I have to say it was Phil's personal touch that sold the car to me! We popped out to Mercedes Giffnock to view a 2017 Mercedes C Class. Although the car was not able to be taken for test drive Alastair Crawford allowed us to view the vehicle. We paid a deposit on the vehicle and were happy to wait for the work to be completed before test driving the car. Unfortunately the work took longer than anticipated, however Alastair was aware of our car situation and offered use of his company vehicle while the car was being worked on. The garage updated us on what was being done in the workshop and we were happy to wait to ensure the vehicle was completed to the high standard we expected. We picked up our vehicle yesterday and are happy with the car and the customer service, Alastair was extremely helpful and sorted out our Mercedes app and worked past closing time to get us all sorted. We do have one small scratch that needs sorted but Alastair has assured us that we can book this into the workshop to be fixed (hence 4 stars) I would definitely use the Giffnock branch again!

The staff there are so down to earth, and not like your usual awful cheesy sales people. Originally seen the car on the Stratstone website after my old car was written off in an accident. I reserved the car, booked an appointment to test drive and view the car on a Saturday morning at 09:30. Arrived at the dealership on time and we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, COVID precautions taken and asked to take a seat in the waiting area. We were informed by the salesman Luke that apparently, they weren’t expecting us until the afternoon and the car was being currently being delivered from another garage 15 minutes away. Not off to the best start, we continued to wait and eventually around 40 minutes later the car arrives. Upon inspection the car was not in a presentable condition, badly needing washed and valeted, however the actual condition of the car was good and I could overlook a bit of muck. The only real issue being the brake pad warning notice coming on, which Luke advised would be fixed, as well as valeting the car and having it fully checked over. We agreed to buy that day and later arranged to pick the car up the following Friday. Friday arrives with seemingly no issues with fixing the car so I had arranged payment, tax and insurance of the car. We travelled up to the dealership to be advised on arrival that there was an issue when they brought the car around… Brake pad warning light had come back on although it had been fixed, but I understand these things can happen. I was given a courtesy car for my trouble and assured the mechanics were working on the car for the rest of that day and into the next if needed and that I would be called as soon as it was fixed, and if not, updated on Saturday. I called on the Saturday afternoon to be told unfortunately they had not managed to fix it yet but would call to update during the week and their ‘top mechanic’ would be straight on it, as well as being told we would be compensated for the trouble. Over 2 weeks later, several phone calls to the dealership to be told I would be called back with no response and no significant update or real progress, I eventually was dealt with by Charles and Steven who were reassuring and thanked us for our patience. Although by this point, empty apologies don’t count for much. Eventually the car was fixed and we arranged to pick up. Again on arrival we were greeted and taken immediately to speak with Steven. After expressing our concern with the service we had received, he seemed surprised that we wanted to follow up on the mention of compensation and Charles took over. After discussion we were offered some compensation for our troubles which sealed the deal. We then went out to the car to find no dust caps on the tyres, the driver side mats missing and a subpar valet job. Charles promptly got replacement caps and organised for a brand new set of mats to be delivered to us in the following days, which is a good gesture but ideally these things should be in place and checked before pick up. Overall poor customer service with management just saving the day at the last minute. 3 stars due to eventually getting what I had paid for in the end and a beautiful car to show for it, but given the hassle we have had I would be hesitant to be back in future.

have had a bad experience in the past with Mercedes Glasgow and I decided to go to the Giffnock branch instead. I don’t like car salesmen at the best of times but Alastair Crawford was a different kettle of fish. He didn’t have the salesman pitch and was honest and professional. That’s all customers are looking for!! I don’t understand why car dealers don’t get it!! He was honest and any questions I had he was able to answer in a clear manner without any jargon. Nothing was too much for him as my mother and father’s second language is English but he had the patience to repeat any information to them. I love that personal touch, it makes buying a car soo much easier. He brought the old charm back in to buying a car, where it was a family day out for the 2nd biggest purchase in your life!! I think dealers forget that. If Alastair had given me the wrong information regarding the car he would let me know straight away. It reassured me that although he was there for the sale he wasn’t there to falsely make a sale. He taught me soo much more about buying and selling a car than I ever knew before. I wish you could use him for training in the future for other sales people. Just be upfront and honest. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends and family! Just ask for Alastair! Edit 13/07/2020: I logged a formal complaint via Stratstone and Ian Taylor contacted me to resolve the issue. He was a really nice chap, helpful and wanted to get everything right. He did also apologise for the car and digital service book not being updated and explained that it is definitely not the normal service they provide. There wasn't really an apology for the rudeness of the staff. For the reasons above and having to log a formal complaint to get it resolved - I'm going from 1 to 3 stars. I made a complaint and they resolved the issue. Original Review: Phoned yesterday 14:23 to politely ask them to update the Digital Service Book after they performed an A service last year on a car I've purchased. Turns out that they didn't even update the car so I spent £250 to get it serviced AGAIN even though it was already serviced. A gentleman answered the phone and really couldn't be arsed to help. Told me that they're short staffed and that it wasn't really a problem and then just put the phone down. Couldn't believe the lack of care this guy had.

These guys were a saving grace after Arnold clark mercedes in aberdeen, just took my money and wasted my time. The salesman Uneducated on his own brand.
