Visited Litchfield today, for a stage1 remap on my 991.2 carrera. Was in and out within an hour. Really pleased with the results. Noticeable difference in torque throughout the rev range. Importantly for me the smooth gear changes especially around 1st and 2nd, going up or down have always been slightly awkward, now much smoother. As far as I'm concerned a remap that suits the car better than the factory map.

I have been a customer of Litchfields for around 5 years now and the service since has been nothing short of first class. The honest advice from all the staff (who are some of the most polite and friendly I have ever encountered in a workshop!) goes a long way to building trust. When I eventually purchased my childhood dream car, a Lamborghini Gallardo, I naturally considered taking it to various other "Lambo specialists" in the area, but being left unimpressed with their attitudes or the states of their workshops. Given the years of trust built up at Litchfields I asked Iain if he would be happy to look after my new car alongside the various other supercars you see gracing the workshop. The answer being a resounding yes. On taking delivery of the new car it was taken to them for a health check and a run on the dyno to ensure there were no immediate issues, of which there were none. They recently performed a top to bottom service of the Gallardo for me, as well as installing an aftermarket exhaust. The work was meticulous and precise and I was kept in the loop the entire way. There were some minor problems encountered, but these were well known issues with the exhaust clamps on a Gallardo, however they handled it in their stride and everything came together culminating in a power run on their dyno with the car putting down extremely healthy numbers. While known mainly for their second to none expertise in GTR's, Litchfields have a highly capable team of looking after most supercars, and someone looking for a high quality, honest and reliable service would do well to give them a call.

I've been using Litchfield for many years regardless of which car I've owned and have watched them become the one stop shop they currently are. Years back I bought and sold cars with them, then it went to servicing, then tuning, and now I can also use to freshen up the paint on my aging BMW in their excellent body shop. I really can't think of anything to complain about. Highly communicative, extremely knowledgeable regardless of the marque, fast working and reasonably priced. I hope to keep going there for many more years, and even though I'm not local, there's no one else I would prefer to use.

My first visit to Litchfield Motorsports today with my Nissan Gtr for a service and a few other bits and bobs. I had originally booked with Nissan main dealer but they are really a waste of time so someone recommended Litchfield MS and every good thing that I'd heard about these guys is true. Firstly, they take the time to talk and answer all your questions and secondly they really are super knowledgeable about high performance cars especially Gtr's. The customer service is absolutely outstanding and even the waiting area is like a VIP lounge. In addition, Litchfield charged me far less than Nissan would have done and I really can't praise these guys enough so no need to ask me where I'll be going for my next service or upgrade. I'd been looking for a DBA R35 for over a year. I'm quite fussy! This one was low mileage and been SORN for a few years. So obviously it needed the full 72 month service for all fluid changes, plus brake lines and plugs. Added the Y-Pipe for the audio. I'm in South Manchester but made the trip and hotel stay based on Litchfields reputation. 1.5 days were needed for all the work. Neil in the service dept was excellent in his years of experience and advice. Tom (who works alongside Neil) Provided excellent advice also and great customer service throughout the whole process (lots of updates during the work being done) which is stressful when you have invested so much into your dream car. They really are an excellent team. I was like a fat kid in a candy shop looking around the car park. Stunning vehicles, exceptional mechanics and exceptional customer service and pricing. Where shall I start…from picking up the phone and making the initial call in regards to my new purchase of my GTR Neil was so helpful and gave me all the information I required and started off the whole process of booking in a test drive and getting the car arranged for me. It felt like I had known Neil for a long time, so welcoming and every time I called him he would be there at the other end. I can’t thank Jenny Litchfield enough, throughout the process she always kept me up to date and was so happy I got to meet her at handover. They know their cars. Lots of different vehicles to see in various states of repair. Often some unique and rare vehicles being worked on too. A lot of people trust these guys with their one off cars. The waiting time is a little long and you often see your own vehicle left for ages for no reason. I'd prefer it if an engineer was assigned to one vehicle at a time and they just cracked on, but it is what it is. At least the waiting room is nice with WiFi, TVs, and free tea, coffee and fizzy drinks.

I purchased and shipped a Litchfield GR Yaris coil over set up to Australia, and used a local suspension shop (well regarded) For installation, the result was quite poor. Iain's after sales support was fantastic and had the car righted in no time. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

The best place bar none for Nissan GTR owners. 1. I had a limp mode problem on mine with my gearbox - ridiculous price quote by Nissan HPC for a gear box replacement.. litchfields: couple of hundred to fix a bent selector fork. 2. Had their stage 5 upgrade here too and turned the car from 'quick' to 'ridiculous', think is wasn't far off 800bhp with stock spool after work. services are cheap too compared to the costly NHPC prices. an outstanding facility like something an F1 team would have with top class engineers/mechanics, who know this car inside out.

I'd love to give you 5 stars Litchfield. My review is based on not being able to use your services. I have tried to put three of my cars into your business for work, a 335D xdrive, a Megane RS and a Maserati GT and on each time I have been told they are not vehicles you wish to work on. It is a shame as you are local and have a great reputation. If you only service Nissan GTR's then I would understand, but you seem to be able to service lots of different types of vehicles. I'm amazed that my three cars would be off your list.

Great service and excellent knowledge for GTR's, I dealt with a guy called Neil who couldn't be more helpful and he gave me great advice on what I needed. Another great note was my car was ready before they said it would be which was a bonus too. Full service, MOT and engine upgrade and now my car feels amazing and solid they really know what they are doing I have full confidence in the car and I will definitely be going back to them for my yearly services.

I've been using Litchfield for the last 3 years for all servicing and work done on my car and as one of only a handful of garages in the country that specialise in Nissan GT-R, I can wholehearted recommend these guys to work on your pride and joy like it's one of their own. They are happy to provide advice based on your needs, checking that the parts they're fitting are right for you and how you use your car. Highly professional, cheaper and seemingly more knowledgeable than main dealers, I'd rather drive the 250 mile round trip and know that the work is being done right and to a high standard. Update: 6 years and counting. Litchfield continue to be THE specialist in the UK for GT-R. They're reasonably priced (for the car, compared to main dealers) and yet have so much knowledge and expertise. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

Great service on a return visit to Litchfield, everything went to plan, communication was as needed, had a few miles to cover while the car was in, originally was given an old style micra (they do need to update that fleet when your bringing in an r35) but on request they figured something out and got us a great 4x4 to use for the few hundred miles we had to cover. Value for money was good and the cars service, brakes, alloy refurbs, and a few issues all sorted in great time. Thanks to Tom for the updates and Ian for help with the Wheels! Ps. Excellent as ever. Thank you Iain Litchfield Update after visit today - Litchfield's squeezed me in after a call last night that I needed some work done for the Goodwood Eagle Sprint that I am competing in tomorrow. There at 9am and out at 12pm, with car all prepared for the sprint. Great work by all the team at Litchfield's and particularly Iain who managed his rally his troops to 'just get it done'. Car is a 2018 Litchfield Track Edition R35 and they have also looked after my previous four GT-R's since 2009.

I had a stage 1 upgrade to my BMW M240i a few weeks ago. The acceleration is awesome and very smooth though I do suggest a Quaife differential to keep it in check. Value for money and great service as always. Plus I am getting a 2 mpg fuel improvement on normal runs to and from work. Very pleased.

Simply put, if you have a GT-R, go to these guys. They are all incredibly professional, well-trained, polite and passionate about the cars, so it's not 'just a job'. When you come here, you get the service to match the car - few manufacturers even have the attention to detail that they do. And they're more competitively priced! There's a reason enthusiasts generally respect a Litchfield service stamp more than any other! Very discreet as well, you don't feel as though the whole world knows your business when you are having your car serviced or tuned. Relatively long drive for me to get there but worth every penny, every time.

Called to book a large service with short notice at Litchfield, they told me they were pretty solidly booked but if they could help they would. So I have a trip to the Nurburgring and really wanted the car thoroughly going through before taking the trip. Neil managed to squeeze the car in a couple of days before I travel and went through the options. Whilst they had the car he called me to explain that my bellhousing didn't need changing just yet and was well within tolerant levels, but also noted that a couple of droplinks had wear and would benefit changing. So a phone call saved me some money which I promptly spent on a remap and the car feels fantastic.
