I bought a car from this dealer after an mot failure on my old car. I am very satisfied with the service I received. nothing was too much trouble to them in their quest for customer satisfaction. I would recommend Cooks used car sales to anyone. very good and friendly service.

Recently bought second car from Cooks and as usual, excellent service and customer care. Car was fully serviced, with twelve months MOT and a three month warranty. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of investing in a used car.

One of the best places to purchase a good quality used car, I've used them twice and I've been looked after well. The owners/managers know their stuff and are always friendly and give good genuine advice. However, even though getting a hold of staff has always been a little hit and miss in the past, I always got a call back at some point if I left a message. I also knew I could drop in when it was open and have a quick chat about my needs or I would be told where the needed member of staff was and how long they were going to be (e.g. picking up a delivery of parts or a car). On my most recent visit I had previously left a phone message, got a call back with an arranged time but then I needed to rearrange due to work so called and left another message with an alternative time for two days later (with plenty of notice) but didn't get a call back so I assumed it was ok. The yard was open, but no-one was around except one of the mechanics, I had to knock on the garage door to get someone's attention. He is friendly but does not seem to have brilliant English skills so he could help me with my problem and could not tell me exactly where the manager was, his estimate of 20 minutes for the other mechanic's return was well out, I wandered around the nearby shopping area and came back but to no avail. I eventually left and left another phone message to rearrange for another time but no call back so I've just left it. I really hope communication for Cooks improves as I love to support this place as a local buisness and the fact that I've had great care over the years. I'm not sure whether this was an isolated incident or whether its because of the recent changeover/sharing of the management.

We have bought several cars from Trevor now and have always had excellent service. The cars we have bought have been reliable and a good price. The last car we bought was from another dealer because at the time we needed a car urgently and Trevor didn't have one we liked but never again! This time we came back and were not disappointed. Trevor is very friendly and helpful without being pushy. I highly recommend.
