M.Went to Evans Halshaw Ford in hull and spoke to Cameron about buying a car (Ford kuga 2.0 s~line) Cameron was very helpful and arranged a test drive for my self their was no hard sell or trying to sell me additional products . I did take out the two year extended warranty for peace of mind but what I did like about Cameron he was just so up front about everything. Would highly recommend Evans Halshaw and Cameron for the way they give customer satisfaction thank you

The many insurances are a drag but are there should anyone require them or not if you don't. The prices match up nationally and are dealer prices, not as ben explained negotiable. I think after visiting many local competitors that i preferred this option.

Having then gone away as I simply could not make a decision , I called the following day to place a holding deposit on the car I had seen. Andy then called me on Wednesday to discuss the options and managed to get the car valeted ready for collection the same day. Something I was not expecting. I am extremely satisfied with Andy's level of service , in fact , He could not have done more for me. Even after driving the car away and noticing a minor detail that was missed on the handover - he arranged for the service team to call me the same day and book in within 24 hours to get it rectified. r. p.This is the second car we have purchased off them. We was looking for a bigger car for around 8 months. Previously had a focus (fantastic car and never had any problems with it). We looked around other dealers/supermarkets and nothing took our fancy and didn't seem bothered about our custom or looking after us.
We popped here after finishing work one day and saw the right car for the right price. We had a look around the site/ showroom which has been updated since we last got a car off them and it's better than every show room we looked round.
Then it came to finding a sales team member. (Never came over and wasn't pushy we had to go looking for them). We found Mike and enquired about the car. They did a valuation on ours (the only place that gave us a accurate quote rather than typing a reg in a computer). Whilst this was getting done we road tested the vehicle which you had free reign of where you wanted to go (which is good so you can try round town and motor way driving styles). When we got back everything was sorted out to move forward with the sale (not that they pushed you into anything). The features were explained about the kuga we was looking at (need a bigger car for growing family) they is bags of room in the back.
They messed about with the numbers so it would match the price of what we was paying for the car we had. Can't fault them. They didn't push any insurances that are worthless. We took out api and got guardex on the car (highly recommend) paint looks wonderful.
Vehicle was prepped to a good standard. And 12 months mot put on (didn't need one for 4 months but they put one on anyway). I know most places have a 3 month window from experience so was nice that they put one on.
Car looks great and us a lot more suited to our needs. Staff are helpful and friendly. Nice showroom and site to walk around. Took car out for a drive yesterday and it's great.

Two months later get a letter from the DVLA they had not transferred ownership of my old car which I post exchanged do I missed out on tab refund. Then found out they hadn't registered my new car to me. Service could have been better. Through happy with car and price

Loses a star for the crazy busy car parking. Often end up driving around wondering where I can park when taking car in for service. Other than that highly recommended.

a. l.We went looking for a van. We stood inside the showroom for a little while and eventually someone spoke with us. Not particularly that interested just told us that someone ( Emma,?) Deals with vans but she was busy. It would have been nice to have been made to feel a bit more welcome -offered a drink or something. We may have even bought a van ! But we went to Toyota and they were a bit more interested and very helpful ( and I got a coffee 😉)

Andy crooks on many occasions stayed late to insure that any and every query we had was answered. NOT ONCE was we ever pressurised In to buying a vehicle (it was ourselves that brought up the payment options) from that point everything was explained in full detail.
This showroom genially thrive on seeing that there customers have a smooth simply journey and aid in finding the perfect car for you.
Nothing was ever to much effort and Andy worked around our busy schedules on many occasions. We will be returning to buy our second car very soon.

However after returning home and using van for a couple weeks had heavy rain this us when I found out the van had had some roof bars removed by previous owner and had not plugged the holes thus letting water into rear of van, I rang Evans halshaw back up spoke with Andy again and within 24 hours he had sourced and sent out the official Ford plugs to finish off no charges no argument just sorry and send, I cannot recommend this branc for your car/van needs
I would also like to make a point to the management about Andy crooks he was a star and pulled strings to get the sake to go through smooth helping me to be on the road in my new van fast as possible while still ensuring everything was to a high standard

I paid a bit more than I wanted to (hence the 4 stars) but he did his best when clearly constricted by Evans Halshaw policies. A special mention should go to Danielle, her hand over presentation was very polished and informative. An all round good experience; which I hope doesn't have me updating my post in a few weeks to inform it's all gone horribly wrong because the car turned out to be a duffer......
