Bought my first car from Arnold Clark. The salesman Daniel was patient and very knowledgeable. He showed me lots of different cars as I was unsure what to buy. There was no pressure when looking for the car it was all my decision and whatever questions I asked Daniel was happy to answer. 3 hours later I made my decision (poor Daniel). We have had two Alfa Giuliettas and the customer service and sales teams have always been excellent here in Leeds. Unfortunately we have had issues taking our Alfas to the local Arnold Clark garages where we live in Huddersfield as they have little experience of servicing them. Looking for a particular make and model, I found it here on their website, 3 weeks ago now. Nearly 100 miles away I was a little worried at distance buying. I spoke to a lovely gentleman, Joe Emerson. He took a lot of time explaining everything, absolutely no rush, he was totally reassuring, and after emailing me a (totally acceptable) part exchange value for my vehicle etc and click and collect option at Manchester Motorstore, I paid my deposit. 6 days later I drove to Manchester, I did a test drive and went ahead with part exchange purchase. Again I dealt with another Arnold Clark employee who was very professional. Issue I did have to raise was quickly dealt with by Joe, (via Manchester branch) to my total satisfaction. Should I have any future problems with the car, (non that I envisage) Joe has assured me not to hesitate in contacting him. My thanks to Joe Emerson for his patience and total customer care.

I sold my car to Arnold Clark last week. I got an online valuation a few days before but was fully expecting this to be hammered down once at the garage. Upon inspection, a few scratches were noted on the alloys so roughly £200 was deducted from the offer. However, Arnold Clark offered the best price I was quoted and I still felt it was a fair offer overall. The process was very quick - all done in 30 minutes - and very hassle-free, which was exactly what I needed. Emilie was friendly and easy to deal with. As promised, the money landed in my account 3 working days later. I am very happy I chose to sell to Arnold Clark.

Purchased my car from Arnold Clark up in Newcastle, and paid for a service plan to which I used at the Leeds branch. Dropped car off and when returning to pick up car the staff member who served me made no effort to show me where my car was located, spent a good few minutes wandering around searching for it when a simple heads up to where it was parked would've been appreciated. I noticed that the car had not been washed and cleaned, the stamp book was not filled in and I was not sent an email of the service records. I submitted poor feedback relating to the service and was called by a staff member who was more concerned about the 0 feedback score. He informed me that the valet-er was off sick and that he had emailed service record to my fathers address (which has not been used for over 5 years- not even sure how that address has been linked to my account). I enquired about receiving either a road map or care kit as part of the plan, the staff member on the phone was quite blunt and told me that I had to request it prior to booking service plan (does not say this within terms) ***EDIT*** Spoke to the Service manager and he rectified the shortfalls - glad to have things sorted, but shouldn’t have happened in the first place!

I got a car on finance 2 years ago and everything went perfectly. It was my first time getting a finance so I was a confused with it all but everything was explained and I got a great deal. I returned a few days ago to get a new one and they didn't disappoint yet again. I made an inquiry, I was phoned straight away by the sales manager, then by the salesman that had been allocated to me to introduce himself. The car I originally wanted was sold just before , however Owen found me a different car that in the end I preferred so much more! The parts manager, Euan, has excellent customer service and is really helpful. From my initial phone call with him he was helpful with telling me what my options were. Unfortunately, during his holiday from work no other members of staff contacted me to update me. Once he had returned to work, I rang to speak to a member of the parts team but I was passed through several different departments who didn't show any interest in my issue. After going around in circles with every other department, as well as being told Euan would be left my details to ring me back, I finally got through to him and he had not been made aware of the issue. He was very understanding about this situation and helpful in resolving it. If only every member of staff had the same service as Euan then there would never have been an issue. He is a real asset to the company.

Sold my car last week, Kate was absolutely fantstic from star to finish. Following booking my appointment online Kate contacted me to confirm some details and also managed to bring my appointment forward which was great. On the way she checked my car over and pointed out some minor damange which I was aware of, having pointed this out I expected huge amounts to be knocked off the price however I was pleasantly suprised. The price agreed was within 3% of the price offered online, which I was very happy with. The price wasn't as good as I would have gotten selling privately and I appreciate that Arnold Clark will make money on the car, but it is so much easier and no risks involved in selling that way. Overall a great experience and I would full reccomend as a get a fair price for selling your car! Thanks for your help Kate! :)

On my experience today at Arnold Clark at Leeds, I received AMAZING service. To be fair, I have had AMAZING service from the moment I have started dealing with them with regards to the car I have purchased. The member of staff who helped me through my sale was ASH RATHOUR. During the process his customer service was IMPECCABLE! Nothing was ever too much to ask for. I was dreading going after having had some bad experience purchasing cars in the past due to sales people hounding me and not giving very good customer service but I can definitely say the purchasing of this car has been a NEW EXPERIENCE and an ABSOLUTE BREEZE! It took me an hour to get to this branch and it was definitely worth the trip! FIVE STARS all round Arnold Clark at Leeds!!

Bought my car from AC (Leeds) about 3 weeks ago. Decided to wait a while before writing the review to make it legit. I can recommend AC to anyone. I had very good buying experience (I am not an easy client I must say). All questions were answered without hesitation or delay. I ran into small issues after buying the car which was 100% resolved by Arnold Clark Service at no fee (under 60d warranty) and it was Brake Discs, Pads and Battery which are not easy to get replaced under the warranty anywhere. I am very happy with the company, service and the car itself.

Friendly helpful staff. Just beware of add ons you didn't request when buying your car. For example: The body treatment, which is pointless on anything that's not brand new. You can extend the warranty but not on all makes.

We have been looking for a new family car for a while and I had my heart set on a SUV. On a Sunday afternoon we went into Arnold Clark in Leeds and we were greeted by Thomas Passmore and his colleague Darren. We explained what we were interested in and sat down with Thomas to crunch some figures. We decided to go away and have a think, then we received a message with a video showing us round the car we loved. It wasn't cheesy or over selling it was honest, detailed and to the point. This made us talk so we decided to book a test drive the following day, we then signed for the car and drove it away on the Wednesday. Thomas was fabulous, after finding out he had only been working there for 2 weeks we were even more impressed, he is professional without being robotic, listens and takes his time to explain everything. We love our new jeep compass and if it wasn't for Thomas we would never have bought it. He needs highlighting and rewarding for his customer service. My brother is now looking at a new SUV and we will definitely be taking him down to Arnold Clark to meet with Thomas. He is a real asset to this company.

This is my third and probably last time I will be visiting this garage. The service department and after sales is not good. I was promised a courtesy car when I booked my car in for a service. 3 days before the service with you I was informed they will not be a courtesy car available and could I rebook it a two weeks down the line. I agreed however, when I arrived to drop my car off to be serviced they informed me that there isn't a courtesy car available for me! I explained that I received a text from the dept informing me that there will be a car waiting for me and to double check that I would be available today but for the service. The receptionist could not understand why somebody has sent a text out knowing full well there wasn't a car available. My frustration is that the garage could not understand how much of the inconvenience they had caused me and thinks that a simple apology we was suffice. My while day was ruined🤬🤬🤬

I had looked at prices on car guru and they represented value for money.My experience was some what let down by the after sales service. I called several times with a query about the extended warranty and was promised a call back each time which never materialised. In the end I had to drive to the showroom 12 miles from my home to speak to someone. Also when I went to pay for my extended warranty it was nearly £100 more than the leaflet stated. I was told that it was because it was an older vehicle although this was not explained in the literature.

Very pushy sales staff, just wanted to look around and have a look at potential cars for my daughter in law, multiple staff tried to force me to sit down asking what I wanted if i was buying today, I explained multiple times I was looking round, to be fobbed off like I was no-one since I was not throwing money at them. During Covid the showroom and service desk area is all marked out in lanes with 2 metre markers, hand sanitisation stations everywhere and clear perspex screens at the service desk. Pre bookin in online before arrival, courtesy car spotless and sanitised. Kieren and India on the desk couldn't have been more helpful. Video of vehicles health check sent via email, text to advise MOT completed and passed, followed up with a phone call once car had been washed and vacuumed ready for collection. Fantastic quality of service, under difficult circumstances and I can't give enough praise to Arnold Clark.
