Friendly no pressure staff. Went for a test drive in an MG HS Exclusive auto and decided to buy. Paperwork completed just need to be patient for a late May delivery date which is not too bad in these days of supply chain issues as I know some manufacturers currently have very long lead times.

A big thank you to Fazz for handling the purchase and ensuring everything went smoothly. Another MG dealership nearby have copied Luscombes slogan of "we wont try and sell you a car but we will help you buy one". The difference is Luscombes have substance behind the message and an authenticity. Not sure that can be said of many others. Superb and you can tell its a well oiled machine that genuinely values customer service, a differentiator for Luscombes.

Really good experience, Graham and Andy looked after us. We didn't feel pressured at any point to either buy a car or take credit. Purchased a car on the 14/02/20. We live around an hour away and fell in love with a car they had up for sale. When we called to view they held the car for us to not waste our time. When we got there, there was a hot drinks machine and cold drinks available while we waited to speak to a sales advisor. Steven dealt with the whole transaction. He was friendly and did not push and extras on us as we said we just wanted the car as is. Over all a very nice experience. And if they have a car we are interested in the future we would definitely make the trip up again to view.

Only just taken delivery of the vehicle so will update the review in 3 months time. But fingers crossed so far everything has been excellent. I hate buying cars, you feel like you just have to accept you're going to be ripped off at some point, that there's always a better deal out there just around the corner. However Luscombe seems different. We negotiated an honest deal. Minor issues with the vehicle were dealt with well and the car was exactly as hoped for when I went to pick it up. Matt the sales man was excellent, not at all pushy, and left my wife, my family and myself to our own devices to get a good look at the vehicle. Then we got a good test drive (not just a short hop). As stated above any minor things I pointed out were accepted and fixed without complaint before any money changed hands. I think it helps that the owner is willing to put his reputation on the line and the fact that he'd replied to many of these reviews gave me confidence. No hidden fees. No pressure. So far so good. [UPDATE] The best way to judge a Car Dealership is how they deal with any issues once the sale has gone through. In this regard the Dan, Graham and the rest of the Luscombe team were excellent.

Next annual service - just completed. Unfortunately no courtesy car due to the lockdown but the usual great service continues. -- another visit after nearly a year (review below). This time it was for the annual service for my car. Again the service was all great, right from booking thru reception and collection. They even washed and vacuum cleaned the car which was a bonus. Got a courtesy car for the day so didnt have to worry about school runs. I guess the only downside is that it is a little expensive but in general a positive experience overall. - previous visit - Actual service (recall fix) was great. They were flexible to accommodate me when I came in earlier than my booked appointment and performed the fix in a reasonably short time. The waiting area was pretty well stocked with hot drinks and magazines which was helpful. Overall great service. In addition, special mention to Daniel (and Simon) for taking time out from his schedule for helping me setup the wifi access to my car. He certainly knew his stuff as he was able to diagnose the issue with my phone and resolve the problem.

This is the friendliest Motor Dealership I have ever used in my 50 years of Motoring. Nothing is too much for any of the staff they are all there to help you. No pushy salesmen accosting you as soon as you appear on the forecourt. The after sales service is also second to none, nothing to worry about there either. I can't see me ever using another dealership, as the saying goes once you find the ideal mechanic you don't go anywhere else. I've already started getting my brother to take a look has he is in the market for a new car and £50 introduction never goes amiss. This is a 5 star dealership in every respect and I wholeheartedly recommend.

I should start this review that probably like most people I dread buying cars. The pushy sales staff you normally meet make it an experience to be tolerated rather than enjoyed. What a pleasure it was to meet with Graham who leads the sales team and with Andy who worked the deal. Not pushy - real facts, real knowledge of the vehicle, combined with down to earth honesty. I state I was buying a new Outlander PHEV which sells itself really because that makes it easier, but Andy was forthright about what I needed and what I didn't. Good contact during the delivery cycle and the delivery was pain free (apart from the wallet! - although to be fair a seriously good deal was given). I traveled 70 miles to this privately owned dealership, which i think is part of the secret, and was not disappointed. As for the car - well so far so good, and although a big vehicle for my wife she loves driving it!

Bought my car from Luscombe's a year ago now and they could not have been fairer or more helpful, other than the fact i'd only gone in to look!!. I took out a service plan and so returned it for service and MOT plus a recall last week. Same impressive service again. Booked in at a time that suited me, they loaned me a car,they sent a video of it being repaired for clarity,they completed it all in one day and when i picked it up it had been cleaned inside and out. It was also plugged into a rapid charger so i drove home for free as well!. Already recommended them to two people and quite possibly the best main dealer i've used in 35yrs of driving. I resisted writing a review during the "honeymoon" period just after I bought the my new Outlander PHEV, so my liking of the car would not bias my review of Luscombe, as it is the dealership and not the car I am reviewing. Well a year on, my PHEV has just had its first service by Luscombe and I still truly rate Luscombe 5 star! Looking back, my experience of buying the car was excellent. After my first test drive I had decided, the question remaining was what spec and deal. At no time was I ever pressured. It seemed that the mission of Luscombe's sales staff was to assist. They showed be several models with different specs and let me test drive them. They showed me other cars with the various paint finishes so I did not have to rely on swatches. They went over the figures of the deals being offered and put every option very clearly in writing before I eventually came to my decision. The service did not stop there. They helped me arrange a free home charger and LCC ULEV parking permit. When my car showed a charging problem, instead of going into denial they suggested switching the home charger off and on again at the circuit breaker. Problem solved, the charger firm were out to blame the car! I received helpful emails that gave tips about running the car at optimum efficiency instead of emails tempting me to buy another car. When the first service was due I received a reminder. Luscombe came to collect the car and returned it serviced. I asked about payment. No charge! I had forgotten that I had taken out a service plan when I bought the car, Luscombe had remembered! I have been a Mercedes owner, the Mercedes dealer service is excellent. The service from Luscombe is every bit as good. Truly 5 star!
