Recently purchased a car from here, experience overall was great. I had originally put a deposit on a different car but on arriving to view the car it wasn't ready, the garage were honest enough to let me know this and said they couldn't let me drive it away knowing it needed further investigation. Understanding my situation of needing a car by the weekend and having travelled quite a distance to come view they went above and beyond to help ( I needed a 7 seater ). They looked at the stock they had in and offered me a different car transferring my deposit to this one. It wasn't a model I had considered, but I love it and much prefer it to the original car I went to view. Just today I called back in due to the handbrake making some noises, they very thoroughly checked everything for me and cleaned the breaks which seems to have really helped. Thank you for all your help, I will be back when I'm ready to downsize to a smaller car 😊

Amazing Service I bought my used car from Scott’s of Leeds in December, they made the experience very easy, and let me look at few cars with no pressures. Very happy to recommend Scott's to anyone looking for a new car! From the first phone call asking if the car was still available right through to completing the sale the staff were friendly and helpful. The car was exactly as described in the advert and priced very fairly! There had been a previous issue with a parking sensor which I was told was already on order and awaiting fitting. I bought the car and took it later that day, Andy even stayed behind after closing to ensure I could pick it up, excellent customer service! I was contacted and the sensor fitted soon after, again the staff went out of their way to work around my schedule. Overall an excellent, stress free experience and I wouldnt hesitate to use Scott's again!

Update* Unfortnuately my car continued to have faults which would have been too expensive for me to fix with the potential for being further faults so I decided to lodge a complaint with the finance company who provided an independent inspector for the vehicle which I feel in the end was unfairly biased towards the finance company and whom wouldn't take initial faults into consideration. I would have personally said that a redundant aux1 fan at purchase would be a contributor for a head gasket going a few months later with it being a main component of the coolant system, as did the independant mechanics I spoke to... but not to the independent inspector... I have, in the end had to pay £1000 upfront to hand the car back through a repo company in order to be rid of the car to be able to purchase a new one, as this car was sat on the drive for over 2 months. Anyway, I'm absolutely not saying that scotts set out intentionally to harm anybody but I really do feel more care should be taken when part-ex'ing to re-sell as this experience as a whole has had a seriously detrimental impact on my health and welfare and also left my children unable to attend clubs for around 4.5 months collectively that they've been attending for over 8 years, which I can only imagine nobody likes the idea of just as much as me. Although i have made the decision to pay and hand back, the FOS are looking into whether I've been treated fairly and trading standards taking info in to account which of course isn't ideal for any party involved and doesn't bring me any joy to have to do as I'm really conscious of the impact this can have on a business. I felt it important to leave an accurate review here so as not to mislead anybody. Other buyers may not be so unfortunate, there are clearly many happy customers and as I was told "it's just the risk you take when buying a second hand car". A hard lesson unfortunately learned the hard way. That being said I would still maintain that I genuinely do not feel that scotts of leeds are intent on causing misery for money, but I do feel that more care could be taken, perhaps on both parts and consumers should be aware of previous consumers problems when considering large purchases so they can make informed decisions. *** end. Original Purchased a vehicle from Scotts of Leeds in November 2021 with extended warranty. The vehicle had a fault shortly after purchase, Scotts took the car back in and resolved the problem at no cost to me. A couple of months later the vehicle developed a couple more further faults which an independent mechanic diagnosed & Scotts went above and beyond to help me to rectify these issues. After being given wrong information through warranty company Scotts took matters into their own hands on my behalf and completed work ensuring that again it was at no cost to me as it was covered under warranty. The guys at Scotts, be it Scott, Andy, Mark or the mechanics are all really great, decent guys. I worried reading some of the negative reviews that I wasn't going to get anywhere and would be lumbered with a car that was going to potentially cost me more than what there was outstanding finance on it but this was absolutely not the case & I do wonder if the negative reviews are more related to perhaps customer approach?. I would definitely say that if you are right and proper with the lads at Scotts just as they are with you then you should have no issues if presented with a >'genuine'< problem. This is of course a business and they would not be taken for a ride, but they are 100% fair. Thanks guys. Hannah

I was in the market for a cheap run-around and came across a Vauxhall Signum being sold by Scotts of Leeds that they had taken in as a Part Ex. Took it for a test drive and whilst the car ran really well the oil warning light came on. Andy was really good and said that they'd have their mechanics to have a look at it on the Monday. Last week bought a Mondeo estate from Scott's of Leeds. Had been looking for the right car for 6 months. Saw the one I now have ticked all the criteria I was looking for. Read some reviews about the company and thought this was worth a look. Arranged a viewing before going as a 90 mile trip to find car sold on arrival would not be good. Mark said he would hold the car till I got there which he did. Car was as the advert showed and was given the key to look around and left alone. No pressure and plenty of time to look at the car. Decided it was right and went for a test drive. Arranged a fair price for my car as trade in done deal. Picked up the new car and change over dealt with so easy. Got to say if these guys have a car you are interested in and you can get there well worth a visit. Know this is a long post but how nice to deal with a company and be treated correctly . Bought a Bluemotion Golf from these guys. Customer service was excellent.. had a few issues with the car a couple of weeks later, informed Scotts and they requested I brought the car back for an inspection. Had been burnt buying a car in the past so was in a panic it was going to happen again, rest assured the issues sorted with a quick turn around aswell as new discs and pads all round with a fresh 12 month mot. Bought a lovely car which with the help of Scott's was delivered to me really quickly. Unfortunately a few accessories were missing out of the car. We contacted Scott's and they agreed to source the items and we did receive 2 items. Real shame that the 3rd item , owners manual ,which you would expect to have in a car costing 10k plus that was promised has not materialised. Despite e mails being sent all were ignored. So we believe it is a case of got the money and now not interested . Such a shame as this could have been a good review if they kept their promise.

I made the right decision by choosing to buy the car from this company. I good quality Audi A3 2009 plate for a decent price. As an addition, I been offered to take warranty for 12 months which covers EVERYTHING in my. And there was no preassure at all! So, I saw an ad online for a car I really liked the look of, I rang Scott's of Leeds to see if it was still available and if I could arrange to view it, all was good so I went the very same day, I was left alone to look around the car with absolute no pressure or anyone bothering me which was absolutely brilliant, I took my time and decided I liked it and left a deposit then arranged to come back a few days later, the car was sat there waiting for me with a nice big 'SOLD' board in the wi dscreen, made me giddy haha! Anyway, I went into the office to pay the remainders and get the car signed over into my name, it was the EASIEST purchase of a car I have ever made (and I have done my share) the key was handed over to me and off I went.
