Fantastic service at formula one. Booked in for an mot and a service they do a proper job and found a few issues surrounding the brakes and suspension on the car after a quick phone call they started and completed the works in the same day! If you really care about your car and your passengers (so you should) always get your car checked by professionals and I can vouch for the guys/girls at formula one for the amazing service they do there! I selected this garage for my first service and MOT in Leicester after travelling past on the bus. The process of booking and paying was quick and easy. They rang at lunchtime to explain what work needed doing in order for the vehicle to pass the MOT together with the full breakdown of the costs. There was a comprehensive paper trail of the different aspects of the service. My only criticism is that they asked me to collect after 5.45 pm but it was 6.20 before the vehicle and paperwork were ready but this was only a minor inconvenience. I would definitely return again in the future.

Great service! The staff were all so friendly and there were no hidden costs! I took my car in for a service and they checked the whole car for free and told me my breaks and wipers needed to be changed. They didn’t change them without asking me or pricing it up. Got my Service and MOT done and was happy with the price I paid online and left my car at 8:30 AM but in afternoon around 2 PM got a call that they did not found anything wrong with the car but 1 Front and both back wheels needs toe adjustment and will cost me additional £72 and was told to collect the car in next half an hour. I think they already knew that I will agree with the additional work and may have already done the work or were already in the process of doing the work as when I reached to collect the car it was ready outside to be collected. But overall satisfied with the service and price I paid but nothing extraordinary.

Always been good to my cars over the years, they have serviced everything from my Hyundai to my Mercedes. When I had a minor issue with my electric window jamming they managed to fix it really quickly and did not even charge (just needed a bit of a tighten and some lubricant). They are usually affordable with offers if you book an MOT with the Service. They got both done in one day along with the repairs I required. Definitely recommend.

After careful research and reading a lot of reviews around Formula One garage in Leicester, I decided to give it a go, despite many negative (?genuine?) feedbacks were also found. I must admit I was quite pleased with services I have received! Booking appointment slot and services needed- no problems, dead easy to navigate and book on their web site. Price was very acceptable too and I can only hope that all services were done as described as I have no means of checking upon it. However, I could say that 4 wheel alignement has been done at its best, car goes how it should be - straight and brakes evenly. A bit of advise tho, query and make sure that ALL what you wanted has been done before leaving. So far so good, so i would recommend these guys

I've been to F1 a couple of times now and they have always been great! They are always busy so it can take a while to get to your car if you have not booked in online. They waiting area is comfortable with magazines, tv and refreshment vending machines and has a full view over the workshop floor.

Took my car down to them to take a look at my air conditioning. Which they had previously done for me they did a health check and gas top up middle to end of last year. And all was well. Tried it on Wednesday and No cold air. Bare in mind it a black car. And an alfa ! The manager was very helpful in telling me you need to keep flicking it on every few weeks or it can stop working. Then took the car in side and sorted it in 25min. No charge. I use this company all the time for tyres. Always good on price. Very happy to recommend this place to all.. Prompt polite and professional. My exhaust issue dealt with at short notice on a Monday morning. I was dealt with courteously on arrival and shown to a clean quiet waiting area. Did MOT and minor service here last Thursday booked online the previous week. When arrived with the car the staff seemed polite enough to deal with the car. However I have said this before and say it again when the work has been finished I never get a phone call to say all work has been done. I had to make the call to find out what's happening and this is one area formula 1 need to improve on. I know they are busy but surely it doesn't take long to make a call and if I don't pick up the phone at least leave a message on the answer phone to say the car is done. Also I was not too happy with the car failing it's MOT on the windscreen wipers as it seems to me the wipers clear the windscreen fine. Even more I was not happy with how much I had to pay for new front wiper blades, £24! I could of fitted new ones myself for much less cost.

I booked on line to have two tyres fitted and wheels balanced and tracking adjusted. All carried out with the minimum of fuss. Staff were helpful and informative. The only negative aspect of my visit was the online appointment which would only refine to am or pm, meaning that it was an hour before work could be started on my vehicle. If you find yourself in a similar position at F1 on Abbey Lane you could do worse than visit the Abbey Pumping Works next to the Space Centre.

I bought 4 new tyres at a good price, had the wheels balanced ( as standard) and the wheels laser tracked. A couple of days later the steering wheel started shaking at about 65 mph. I phoned up Formula 1 and they couldn’t have been more helpful. The car went in the following day and a missing weight replaced.

Good service. The employees are friendly and relaxed enough to engage in banter, also polite and informative when it matters. They also offered to beat any legitimate quote. Left my car with them and my phone number as requested and the work was completed. The part was rattling against something so took it back and they were happy to correct the issue (after market part had a bracket in the wrong place). The only thing I was left wanting for was a phone call after the work was completed (on each occasion) to say the car was ready for collection. I ended up calling after work but was unable to get through initialy due to it being a busy time of day. As a result I did have to start thinking about how to get home without my car. I booked and payed for two tyres online and went for an AM fitting i noticed after about 30 mins they had took car in and were fitting tyres then car was just sat in workshop nothing happening. So i asked at desk how long before it was done as they were busy. The service manager asked somebody what was going on and the guy working on it was waiting for a ramp to be free and gone to do something else. They told him to leave that and get my job finished as i had been waiting a while. They had to do a wheel alignment check. When they had done they said won't charge u for wheel alignment adjustment as they had messed me about very fair i thought .

Amazing! Fantastic service!! Just wanted one of my tyres checking as was pretty low, drove up to formula 1 as nearby. Pulled up in front of the entrance to bays and asked one of the lads on his break to please check my tyre. Wanted to make sure there was no nails/puncture. Gent who checked my tyre didn't have much time as the place was busy and said I'd have to wait around 20mins/half hour. Long story short; had my tyre checked thoroughly, water leak tested, puncture repaired, wheel balalnced and on my way within 15mins without having to wait. All the lads looked after me and even though my hub caps weren't the best fitting, lads did a great job gluing back on. Many thanks F1! Always prefer getting my tyres done here. Always have done. The last visit was the best experience. I did say to the lads, make sure their boss treats them to a good night out.... (PAUL!!) Well done lads at F1 Leicester! Keep it up. A lot of places have forgotten what good customer service is.

This was my first time using their services. As I watched the lad who worked on my car, I was absolutely expressed by the checks he did to make sure my car was safe to driven on public roads plus my family safety. You might wonder why 4 stars! the reason is the NOTE that came with my service confirmation for the date and time I should turn for my MOT. It reads: If you take your car away to fix in-case it failed MOT you are required to pay again to be re-checked. In other ways you are forced to give them the job to fix your car regardless of the cost they charge. This NOTICE should be displayed clearly on the paying payment page so the customer can make that choice not the F1Autocentre. As you claim to be family owned business you are aware that not all families cannot afford your prizes and they could have a uncle/brother who can fix that little MOT failure that occurred. Customers should be given that choice everywhere. Make it clear and concise in your payment page. I don't see anything wrong with the services you provide to your customer . I will call again for other services regardless of my statement . Thank you for looking after my bmw.

Top Lads & Top Service!😁 I recently took my BMW to Sytner Leicester for MOT and software upgrade. They told me I needed to spend £800 on a new headlight module and headlight to pass the MOT. Told them to stick it up their exhaust pipe! I took it to Formula 1, gave them new bulbs which they fitted FOC! Car passed it's MOT. Cost £15 for 2 bulbs + £25 for the MOT! RESULT!!!😁😁😁

Having searched the web for a good deal, F1 came out top. Ordering/booking was relatively easy (but for some reason the website was trying to insist it should be Liverpool (not Leicester)! But got there in the end. A pity there were not time slots, which the Liverpool depot seemed to have - just a.m. or p.m. Arived at 09.30, was told it would be about an hour. Finally checked out at 11.30! What a long tedious wait. Not sure why other customers were coming and gouing during this time - and my car wasn't looked at for an hour after arrival. Reasonably comfortable waiting room - but pity no coffee machine to help while away the time. Only papers available were Sun and Daily Mail - would have been good to have a broadsheet as well. Used the w.c. - disappointed that the hand drier didn't work. Apart from that, the job seemed to be done OK.
