Booking an appointment was easy and straightforward. I was told that the job would take about an hour and a half and it did. In fact, it took an hour and 20 minutes. Best of all, was the price. Having just returned to the UK from the USA, I was pleasantly surprised that my car's air-condition system could be re-gassed for less than £50. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the work that I immediately booked my car in for a full service the following week.

Was a last minute booking based on my availability. Dropped car off for a full service first thing. Everything was explained as to what would be done. No hard sell of options. After service advised of what 'could' be done - Tracking and brake fluid, again no hard sell. Great communication throughout the day as to progress. Very good competitive prices. Excellent service at a fantastic price. Booked a master service online on a Sunday for a Monday drop off. Had the car back the same day, no issues or hidden charges. Very transparent and honest. 5 out of 5 I like the way they price match competitors. Got my front 2 tyres changed and they matched another competitors tracking price which was cheaper and they matched it. I edit this comment to add how honest and reliable the staff are, I went in for an MOT and they were honest and said that it wouldn't pass based on a pre check. They didn't charge me for an MOT and advised me on what needed to be fixed before they did an MOT. After recently visiting a nearby garage who failed it on pretty much everything, we got it all fixed and went in to do another MOT but with this garage instead. I wish I had visited formula one in the first place and I would have been advised on a pre check that it wouldn't pass rather than waste my money elsewhere. Also the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Car booked in for 4x new tyres and mot. 2 pm for tyres and 3.25 for mot. Very busy when I got there. Nobody in the the reception. Another customer waiting as well. The telephone ringing relentlessly. After about 15/20 mins one of the workers came in and took details and explained the delay. Lack of staff. Apparently 3 of the staff not in Henderson the struggle. However the guy in charge was very good in trying to manage the situation. Long wait for mot and tyres, nearly 2 and half hrs. Good warm waiting area. However free beverages could help in situations and cold and busy days. Think the higher management away from the shop floor should think about the guys manning the work areas and support them adequately. Will certainly use them again.

They always provide a first-rate and professional service and have never let me down (or those who I have recommended). I had my Peugeot taken in for it's MOT and the same day I brought it to Formula One Autocentres to fix. From the first phone call I made to them they was very helpful and was able to fit me in the same day for a brake test (as my rear brakes were binding, had an oil leak and my drivers seat needed fitting properly). Gareth was very welcoming and had brilliant customer service skills and they all managed to have my car on the road the very next day at a very good price too! Can quite easily say they're recommended and it will also be a garage that I now go to whenever I have an issue with my car. Couldn't fault them at all.

When I arrived they said they were just doing another job which would take 60-90 mins. Went back after 2 hours and they hadn’t even started. Alignment was out too so that was another £36 which seems a bit steep.

I have used this garage a few times now and they are always friendly, professional and competitively priced. Most recently I had my timing belt changed (a four-hour job); I called around lots of local garages for prices and theirs was the most competitive. I called up a few weeks after my initial query to book my car in and the man on the phone was very friendly, he said that they could fit it in that afternoon if I was able to get the car there. Great! Dropped it off and they were very professional and friendly; I picked it up a few hours later, once the job was complete and they had also completed another small job that needed doing whilst they had the engine in bits, and didn't charge for the extra labour - something that other garages are often keen to sting you with once they have your custom! I have had similar positive experiences with this garage on the numerous occasions that I have used them. I am shocked by some of the other reviews on here as my experience has been very different and I will certainly be using this garage again.

This garage is always busy but they will do their best to get your vehicle done as soon as possible while you wait ,however I have used it for tyres for the past 10 years and I won’t go anywhere else in Lincoln. The customer service is fantastic, the manager and all of the team are friendly and professional and unlike other garages your not pressured into other services that you don’t want , they ask , you say no and that’s it . Replaced two tyres ordered on line. Great value and excellent service. I asked them to take a look at a couple of issues flagged up on my last dealer service. They carried them out at no extra charge and confirmed that a couple of bushes needed changing soon and gave me a quote that smashed Audi out of the water. (No surprise there to be fair). Also confirmed the other issues raised by Audi were not an issue (again no surprise). Good friendly team and will continue to use them.

Lucky for me a quick head light bulb replacement and the car passed. Great job thanks . I needed two front tyres for my Honda and was attracted to F1autocentres by a local newspaper promotion and was duly quoted a competitive price. I was disappointed not to be offered a specific time but only a morning or afternoon period. In the event I arrived in a slack period but the whole process took an unduly long time. It took 30minutes to do what another company had done in 15 minutes on my other car. But I noted the guys worked well in mutual support despite distracting themselves from the job they were on at the time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the job was well done: the only negative is the time it took.

Booked and paid online for 2 tyres to be fitted to my van. The prices were good and I opted for the Marshal brand budget tyre. As usual fit, valve and balance was all included. I booked an AM appointment as this branch doesnt offer a timeslot booking option when you reserve online... so i arrived at about 10am, and was told that it would be about two hours before they could even get my vehicle on a ramp, this was a issue for me as i had to be somewhere else at 12. However, the branch manager who was there, (who wasnt the regular manager, offered me a ficed appointment at 1.30. so i took this. I returned at 1.30, the van was in, on the ramp, new tyres fitted and alignment checked all in the space of about half an hour! I have used this branch before and will again.. As usual F1 stuck to their promise of being cheapest.. and once the appointment was sorted the service was great as always.

My son who is a sole trader was at the start of delivering for the day when his Ford transit clutch failed. The garage that normally looks after his van could not do the job as his lift was not large enough. After phoning around to be told either their lifts were too small or they were too busy until the next week he spoke to Formula 1. He said bring it and he would do what he could. It was delivered on a breakdown truck at about 10am. I was give all the info about dual mass flywheel etc. and thought this is going to cost.. It wasn't finished by end of the day and said he would try for the next day Saturday. Sure enough it was ready at 12oclock. He charged me the 4hrs he said it would take for a straight clutch change, flywheel was ok and I was on the road again. Could not have been more helpful. Ray
