I'd been around the usual main dealerships looking for a price on my car on trade in and they were offering to low. Anything not mentioned on your initial valuation will be picked up and noted down.
Anything you can get fixed first before selling is worth it as you'll only lose more in final valuation.
The car market isn't great at the moment so the trade in prices are not great neither, this is the market in general and not specific to we buy any car.
You will have to wait around a week for your money to go in, unless you pay extra for same day.
I was in fact turned away from a garage as they would not be able to sell my car on if they took it as part exchange.
Worth it if you can accept the price they give you.
