I wouldn't pick any other dealer than Alan Day VW Hampstead. Location is great as there is Sainsburys and Home base up the road so managed to grab bits as I had a waiting appointment. I dealt with Tony De Jesus who was kind and knowledgeable. He explained what will happen and kept me up to date. The service manager Sam was friendly and she also took the time to make sure my two young kids was happy. I was so glad there was a little play area for them and the area was very clean. Despite having bought 2 new top of the range Golfs from this dealership over the years, I regret to say that the after sales services has deteriorated markedly over the years. After an enormous amount of hassle dealing with my MOT and replacement tyres, I was offered my next service free as compensation. However, when I came to book in this service, I was told there was no record of it on the system and the person who had promised me had left the company!! I complained bitterly but heard nothing further. I shall certainly be buying my next new car elsewhere

My VW Phaeton had suffered a major electronic component failure which rendered the ignition inoperable. The car was transported in to Alan Day Hampstead. I have been dealing with Mark Magnavecca, Service Manager and two senior technicians, Mick and Paul. I have been extremely impressed with the coordinated service I have received. It has taken a great deal of painstaking work to diagnose and resolve the issue. Alan Day have highly skilled technicians who have gone far above and beyond their required brief in helping to resolve this issue. Mark has kept me updated with regular technical reports and the engineers have been accessible where necessary. Alan Day have been co-ordinated, professional and helpful in every way possible. I only wish VW UK were equally professional in taking responsibility for a complex manufacturing defect in one of their flagship models.
