I’ve purchased a Mazda 3 from this dealership and would recommend if you’re looking for a used car. Honest team of people, John, Danny and Vai were helpful with sorting an issue with the wing mirror that I had found, sorting the problem within reasonable timing. I brought my lovely audi TT was balham cars back in September 2021. The guys were so lovely and friendly. Was on the phone to them ALOT after video tours and loads of pictures of my car as I am from the isle of wight. They were so helpful and understanding with me. Asked them loads of questions got answers to them. Not once did these guys lie to me. Put a deposit down on my audi, got up to Balham and that day I drove her back to the island. Everything they said to me about the car was true 👍 Not every day do you meet trustworthy sales these days. Will Recommend these guys to anyone. 100% will buy from these guys again.

Decent second hand car dealer, looked around a lot of dealers before settling on this place. Decent cars, well looked after at decent prices. Had an issue with car after purchase (VW Corsa) called them and they handled it professionally, speedy and fixed the issue on vehicle no problem. Puchased an Audi A5 S line 24/05/2021, John and Chazz were very helpful in the matter, all questions asked was answered accordingly and no pressure into making a sale. Since then few enquiries about the car has risen but both Charlie and John has been great to deal with and will be dealt with as soon as practicable. They do offer after sales which i quite like and so far from what i have seen from other places, i am quite impressed with the service from the team. Thanks again guys and i have taken the 2 year warranty as well for peace of mind as you never know what could happen.

I first heard about these guys through good recommendations after asking around for help with my first car. 4 years and two cars later I now have a van which I need Mon - Fri for work, no exceptions. It's upkeep is off the most importance to me or I'm unable to work. I've used Balham Cars for every single one, and they've never let me down. Honest, friendly, professional, informative, quick and efficient I've never had to visit them for the same problem twice. They are affordable and Vai (manager, front of house AND hands on mechanic) lets me know exactly what I'm paying for with complete transparency which I LOVE! 10/10 would recommend, and will continue to use until the day I move area, and even then I'd be tempted to make the journey back (depending on distance of course). Everyone is very knowledgeable and they take the time to get to know you and what you're looking for. John in sales was friendly, genuine and a great help. I had a small issue with the aircon for which I took the car back to check just today and Danny and Vai were kind enough to fix it free of charge (and also lend me an umbrella while they were doing it as I went for a stroll in the rain to pass the time!). I had a Mercedes E Class 2003 model and it started to give me problems. I took it the car to around 7-8 garages and not one of them could fix as they kept making excuses such as the fault is caused by a part which we can't replace. Finally after a recommendation from my friend I took it to Balham cars and within a week my car was fixed and ran smoothly. I can't recommend this place enough especially the mechanic who I think was called Ray. He kept me well informed throughout and was very knowledgable and straight forward. You will have a customer for life.

Do you EVER feel you can trust a garage? Unless you possess a mechanical brain, and focus, you usually feel powerless, ready to be overcharged, and under informed. Ripped off really...NOT HERE. VAI and his team are the most reliable, available, honest, efficient garagistes we know. To go there for an MOT, a check, a repair, a car breakdown is no more a nightmare. Ha ha, almost a pleasure! Your car will be attended to, mended, repaired, and all of this will be a smiling process! With a fair bill at the end, each time. BEST GARAGE IN LONDON ( let alone Balham/Tooting...)

Got an MOT for my car today. At very short notice they managed to fit me in on the same day. Very easy drop off and collection with a quick turnaround time and a reasonable price. Made some recommendations on the car but weren't pushy on replacing parts unlike some other car garages can be. Would recommend for simple transaction.

Picked up a Toyota RAV4 a few days ago. Felt a little hostile at first, no coffee offered or no where for seating. Was very cold too. But the car was given a quick service. And good to go. Hopefully have no issues with car. Not too happy with the in-house warranty. As it's so difficult for me to get to them if I needed. Hopefully will not need to. I think the guy who I dealt with was named 'Danny'. But he was good.

I've been taken my Audi A3 to Balham cars for a few years. They have a competitive rate for servicing and MOT. The work is always clearly explained and sometimes if you are struggling to get back and pick your car they'll leave your keys with a local business. They also took care of my Peugeot 306 for several years before too.

Pretty disappointing. Had my car in for an MOT last month and I needed new tyres which was unexpected. Received a call, talked the though the issues and I agreed to have them done. The tyres changed fine and car collected. The reason for 3 stars is for 3 reasons. On the phone, I mentioned I had a dis-functioning rear water spray and we agreed if I had all four tyres changed they would sort it for free. Bluntly, they didn't do it. Not the end of the world but having spent a small fortune on new tyres (£600 in total + cost of MOT), I was pi**ed to find the alloys have been left marked which was probably done when they put the tyres back on. Furthermore and the icing on the cake - they replaced one of the air caps on the tyres with one that is too small, isn't suited and doesn't fit property. Not what it came in with, its doesn't cost much and just lazy by the person that did it. In this case, it really is the little things. Wouldn't return here again or recommend.

Balham Cars London Ltd have serviced and MOT'd my ageing Ford Focus for the last 3 years. They do exactly what you expect them to do, keep you informed of any unforeseen problem and likely cost, if any, and don't rip you off as I have known other garages to do in the past. I should add that the receptionist on the service desk is unfailingly efficient and courteous, doesn't patronize me ( as an elderly woman) and is a great advert for this garage.

I definitely have mixed reservations about this garage. I had called in advance to get a quote for work that was to be undertaken. The receptionist seemed to have a one track mind, she profusely refused to give me a quote unless the car was booked in. Towards the end of the phone conversation her telephone etiquette was left to be questioned. I had then took the car in a couple weeks later to get a quote as I was passing by. A gentlemen called Via had seen to me. He saw to me straight away even though he was on his lunch and quoted me very soon after! Left the car there and then and got my car back that same evening, even though I was not booked in. I was left very impressed with him and the garage in the end. I will all most definitely tell my family and friends about this establishment!
