Really great experience with Cambridge Motors. Replies to emails were very quick and they held a car for me once I had given them a test drive date. I haven't brought an EV before. Neil took the time to make sure I had a good grasp of EV charging, how to drive to get the most from the miles etc. Wasn't a 'sales' experience at all. Gary is really passionate about ev and gave us loads of tips which have been great. Sales process was really simple - friendly, not stressful. Can't recommend this company highly enough.

Bought a car From them last August and am very happy with their customer service with looking after us, even taking us for a test drive and showing us a few details about how to drive an automatic car. They even helped us out examining the car free of charge when I caused a problem with the alarm going off, spending several hours trying to resolve the issue. Bought our car from here in summer 2020. Ex-Motability scheme, we're really happy with it. Gary and Neil were helpful and kind, we were buying a car for first time in 10 years because we were expecting a baby and had no idea about recent cars, they advised us on what we would need to consider with a family. Every now and then you come across a company that makes the buying process easy and stress free, Cambridge Motors Plumsted are one such company. Gary and Neil make buying a car a relaxed enjoyable experience. My wife is a nurse and had been wondering about changing her car for a while, so i set about researching suitable replacements that met her requirements, she suffers with painful hip joints and so heated seats would make the 5am journey to work more comfortable, the panoramic roof she had in her current car was also on the list along with the automatic gearbox and seven seats to help when the grandchildren have to be carried around. I found only one car that met all of her requirements a 3 year old BMW 220d Gran Tourer with a few other bells and whistles fitted as well, the car was some 215 miles away at Cambridge Motors so after a few emails, text messages and phone calls we paid a deposit and arranged to collect the car the following Saturday. On arrival we where met by Gary one of the owners of the company who showed us around the car and accompanied us on the test drive, Gary like his brother Neil is very easy going, answering all our questions in an unhurried way without any "sales patter" that seems to be prevalent in car dealerships. The car was exactly as described on the website so we concluded the purchase and set off home delighted with our new car. If you are looking for a car i would highly recommend giving Gary or Neil a call or if you're nearer to them call in and have a look at their stock. A 5 star rating really isn't high enough...

I'd been looking all over England for a new car to replace my ageing and non ULEZ compliant car, I travelled far and wide with no joy. I had quite a strict criteria, bigger than my old car but not overly big but with a big boot and in pristine condition. I saw a Seat Leon estate advertised and went to look at it as soon as I could. Gary and Neil were extremely friendly and helpful and not at all pushy, the garage has been in the family in the same spot for so many years that shows for something. The car was fairly priced, although outside MY budget, I believe buying from someone that is trustworthy and local is worth paying for. In early January I found the perfect car on Autotrader, listed by Cambridge Motors. I filled in the online form and received a call back within an hour. Arranged to view the car two days later. When I got there, the car was outside on the road ready for me to look around. I was also allowed to take it for a test drive (wearing masks and sitting one in back, one in front). They then looked at my old car and agreed a part exchange value (the value that Autotrader had come up with). There was absolutely no pressure on me to buy, no heavy handed sales talk. Later that day I contacted them and said I definitely wanted to buy the car and I paid a deposit. I arranged to collect the car a few days later. As much of the admin/paperwork as possible was done on email prior to collection and, what did have to be done onsite, felt very safe and socially distanced. Loving my 'new' car and would absolutely recommend Cambridge Motors - I will definitely be returning when it's time to upgrade again.

I had been looking for a particular Seat Leon for about 2 months and had been to see about 5. I had almost given up when I saw one that Cambridge Motors had just put up for sale. The condition in the photos and price looked too good to be true so I travelled 2hrs to view the car and I was not disappointed in anyway. It had everything that I wanted and was in such an amazing condition. Instantly I wanted it! I dealt with Neil who was so friendly and knowledgeable about every question I had regarding the car. Even on the test drive he spoke about all the extra features and showed me how they worked. I noticed a slightly worn tyre on the car and Neil instantly agreed and had it changed for me onsite at their garage. I collected the car a few days later after leaving a deposit. Everything with the viewing and the sale of my new car went so smoothly from Neil even sorting out the road tax and drive away insurance. I can not fault Cambridge Motors in anyway.... so pleased I found them. They also had a varied range of other cars on site which suited all different needs. I would have been spoilt for choice if I didn’t know what I wanted! (The cafe opposite is also lovely! Highly recommend if you wanted to stop for food)

I was in the market for a Nissan E-NV200 electric van & gave the garage a call, Gary was very knowledgeable & talked me through the van but was not pushy at all. A deal was struck & van was on the transporter to me, a big gamble as I had not seen, driven or met the guys at the garage before...All I can say is I'm over the moon with my purchase & could not recommend Cambridge Motors enough.
